Guys it's starting! I'm so exciting to be rewriting this, I've been thinking about it for months and now it's happening!!! Sorry, I'm blabbing

without further ado...

enjoy!

~

Jason wasn't the biggest fan of water, the instinct to be wary of it has always sat in the back corners of his mind. Perhaps it was because of an age old rivalry between Zeus and Poseidon. Or maybe it was the Roman's and their distrust towards water, leading to a lack of swimming lessons.

So that is what Jason blames his nausea on as he rocks gently back and forth in the canoe Piper dragged him into. The calm skies and deep water of the lake he was surrounded by were clearly to blame, definitely not the conversation that is weighing around the two, yet to be spoken.

Piper finally breaks the silence,

"Jason, what are we?"

Jason was prepared for many different conversations, but this simple question left him tongue-tied.

"I- um...elaborate? Please?" He begged.

"You've been so distant lately! Rarely paying attention to me, always running off if we're left alone together...did I do something wrong?"

In truth the blond knew exactly what she was asking. He understood the first question perfectly, but hearing it explained a bit more brought every memory of the past three months to his mind.

The awkward kisses and shows of affection, the excuses, the hiding...he knew he was doing it, and most of all he knew it had nothing to do with the teary eyed girl that sat in front of him.

"No! No none of that has anything to do with you. Or I mean I guess it kind of does, but nothing you've done was the cause! It's just..related to you I guess? I'm sorry, I'm not making any sense."

He took a deep breath and truly started to explain. Emotions he has been bottling for months dumped in front of the two like spilled wine.

"I don't know what's wrong with me. When I look at you the world doesn't stop anymore. I can't bring myself to look at you the same way Frank looks at Hazel or Leo, and I don't know when it happened? It's just like any romantic feelings I had just disappeared one morning. I am so sorry Piper. I've been trying so hard to figure out why, and try and bring those feelings back, but no matter how hard I try to find those feelings, it all leads back to simple friendship. I'm sorry for leading you on like this for so long."

He had tears in his eyes as he spoke, guilt eating at him each time he dared to look up.

Piper had no more tears in her eyes, though she still looked incredibly sad, but there was something else...

acceptance.

"I'm upset you dragged me along for so long, but I understand why." She finally spoke.

"We can still be friends right?"

"Please, you aren't getting rid of me that easily, Grace."

The two laughed, and all of the previous tension disappeared, leaving no trace.

They finally rowed back, and Jason got out of the little canoe with haste, thankful to be on solid land once more.

"Soooo-" Piper started.

She never got to finish that sentence.

"Hey! Hey you two! Get to the big house quick!" A voice yelled a few feet ahead of them.

Leo was very out of breath from what can only be assumed as running all the way to the lake.

Jason and Piper made eye contact before sprinting up to Leo, and then to the big house where the others awaited.

Standing around the pool table were Percy, Annabeth, Frank, Hazel, Nico, Will, Reyna, and Thalia with Chiron and Rachel at the head.

The two quickly took the empty spots between Percy and Annabeth when an incredibly winded Leo came flying through the door, gasping for air with his hands on his knees.

"Please- Stop- Running!" The boy breathed out before leaning on Frank, who immediately wrapped his arm around the elf like boy.

"Thank you all for getting here quickly, we have much to discuss." Chiron nodded to Rachel to start speaking.

"Earlier today I gave a prophecy, but in order for us to truly understand it, you need to know something first." She took a breath before continuing.

"A very long time ago, Hecate made a decision that would change the world forever. After a fight with Zeus over giving mortals more power, she ran off to persue her ideas without his approval. She created a world of witches and wizards, mortals who possess minor powers of Hecate without being related to her. She helped her creations grow and evolve.

They built schools all over the world to teach magic to future generations. Eventually they became so advanced Hecate decided they didn't need her anymore, but she placed a protection on them to shield them from regular mortals, like a thinner version of the mist. Over time three types of wizards appeared.

Purebloods, wizards who come from a family of witches and wizards. Halfbloods, wizards with one magical parent and one mortal, or as they say muggle, parent. And muggleborns, wizards born from two muggle parents. Wizards and witches like that were blessed by Hecate as young children, to keep her world from dying out.

Sadly, over time the purebloods started to believe that muggle borns somehow stole magic, and they aren't truly magic themselves. One wizard in particular, a man who went by the name Voldemort, gained a large following and started a war to try and kill all muggleborns.

He held power for many years before he was killed by a boy with the name of Harry Potter, or rather 'The Boy Who Lived.' We have reason to believe he is heavily related to this prophecy." Rachel finished.

The room was quiet for a moment, simply taking in the idea of a whole realm of people they had never heard of until now.

Reyna finally broke the silence.

"So what's the prophecy?"

Chiron cleared his throat before reciting,

"11 strong demigods will leave known lands

To save the so called hero

Before insanity, jealousy, and rage devour the souls

Leaving the magic lands razed."

The centaur spoke again, "I fully believe that you are the demigods that can help them save their world. You will be going to the wizarding school of hogwarts, where Harry Potter is currently finishing his last year of school. You will attend as if you're apart of an exchange program of the American school Illvormorney. Once you enter the school, Hecate will bless you all with the knowledge you will need for this quest. Do you undertand?"

There was a silent form of agreement, and Chiron hummed in approval.

"You will all meet back here tomorrow at noon, Hecate will teleport you all to an Inn called The Leaky Cauldron where you will spend the last week before school. We will tell you more tomorrow. Please go back, there have been trunks placed in all of your cabins to bring."

The flock of demigods left the house in silence, trying to understand everything.

Jason spoke up. "Everything is going to be ok guys, don't worry."

It seems his simple words were enough to breathe some life back into the group, as they were all smiling and chatting once more.

Maybe this quest won't be so bad after all.

Jason did always try to see the best in things.
