Why did people keep interrupting?

Again, just as Rory was finishing the story about the battle with the snow queen, piper came into the room and announced that we had visitors from camp Jupiter.

Again, we rushed out of the big house.

When we went out, I saw who had come. there was a huge crowd gathered around Reyna, Frank, and Hazel.

"Hazel!" I said. I ran up to her. "What're you doing here." I was really happy to see her, but usually if a few campers from camp Jupiter come at this time in the summer, it means somethings wrong.

"Did you get the letter?" Hazel asked.

I had no idea what she was talking about. Did they come all the way here just to talk about mail?

"What are you talking about? we didn't get any letters," Jason, who had come out of his cabin to see what all the commotion was about said.

Reyna came forward. "We got a letter a few days ago that said both the camps will be under attack in a few days if we don't surrender."

Chiron looked at them confused. "let's go discuss this elsewhere."

We went back into the big house for the third time that day. We all sat down again, and Reyna took out a folded piece of paper. "We got this letter a few days ago," she handed the paper to Chiron. He unfolded the paper and started reading it aloud:

You don't know who we are, but we know all about you, about the 'gods.' If you don't surrender by the 25th of July, both of your precious camps will burn.

Oh my gods. I waited for him to say just kidding or not but he just stared at the letter. I took it from him and read over it again. That's exactly what it said.

"Well," Chase said, and for the first time, I realized they were still there.

"Umm, not trying to be rude, but who are you?" Hazel asked.

"Oh, umm, these are the newest demigods, at least she is," Chiron said pointing to Lena.

"You- you look... familiar," Reyna said, looking at Lena. "Are you... Lena?"
