Percy

I don't who this kids were, but they were good.

The girl, Rory, muttered something about shattering her sword, and then ran towards the griffon. 

I had absolutely no idea how she would fight without a weapon, but she managed.

And the boy, Chase, he jumped off the chariot and suddenly he had... wings? I had no idea what was happening, but I decided to ask the questions later. maybe not when we were about to die.

Lena ran towards the griffon with her spear. she waited for a chance and jumped on the creatures back. She stabbed the spear in it's chest. 

Me and Annabeth tried to help, but that was pretty hard, considering we didn't even know what the thing was.

But the other kids handled it pretty well. They dodged and fought pretty well. They managed to drive the thing away.

"Well", Lena said, "Let's hope that didn't draw a crowd."

"Okay", I said, as calmly as I could. then, "WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT?!?!"

"What he means," Annabeth said, "Is what was that creature, where did you guys learn to fight like that, and how the heck do you have wings?" She pointed at Chase for that last one.

"Well," chase said hesitantly, "this is probably gonna sound more crazy then what you guys told us, but we're fairytale characters.

Chase

So I started to tell them about EAS and how we got tales and everything else. They listened without a word, but they didn't seem that surprised.

I had a feeling they'd seen weirder stuff.

When I got to the part about monsters, Percy stopped me. "hold on, so your saying the people down there just saw the huge ice griffon you fought?"

"Yeah, they do", Rory replied "Why wouldn't they? it's a huge creature with wings?"

"So, I'm guessing you guys don't know about the mist." 

"What's that?" I asked.

"It's this sort of thing that veils monsters and stuff from mortals eyes."

"Ooooooh" Rory said, "So that's why I couldn't see that thing that you guys said what chasing us."

"Wait, if you were the only one who couldn't see the monster," Annabeth turned to me "chase, did you see it?"

"Yeah, I did."

"I'm guessing your not completely mortal."

"Well", I said, "I am half fey, if that counts."

"What's a fey?" Percy asked.

"You'd call them fairy's", Rory said.

"Oh," he said nodding to me, "the wings."

"Yeah," I said.

We started descending. 

"We're here", Percy said, "welcome to camp half-blood."
