Lena

I had seen lots of weird things, but when the boy, Percy, said I was a demigod, I freaked.

"Wait, what? What's a demigod?"

"Well", Percy said, "you know those Greek gods, like, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, and all of those?"

 "yeah", I said slowly. 

"Well", Percy said again, "they're real, and sometimes, they have kids with mortals, like us, and..." Percy stopped talking. 

"Please, take your time." Chase said, "it's not like we were just whisked away on a chariot pulled by a dapplegrim, or, Pegasus, or whatever you wanna call it and told that Greek gods are a real thing." 

"Also", Rory said, "where are we going?" "Camp half-blood, one of the only safe places for kids like us."

"You said one of", Chase noticed. "There are others?"

 "Yeah, camp Jupiter. we met them a while ago when they attacked our camp. Long story."

"So" I said, cutting in, "you were telling us about demigods?"

"Yeah", said Annabeth, "so they-" She was cut off by a screeching noise coming from above. "Oh, man," Percy said. "Two attacks in one day, don't we get a break?" 

A creature came down on us, it was blue and had spots like a leopard on it.

"It's a griffon", Annabeth said, "but it doesn't look like any I've seen before."

"Well, we have!" Rory yelled, "It's an ice griffin!"

Annabeth

An ice griffin. I'd never in my life seen, or heard of, one of those. But the new kids, Rory chase and Lena, seemed to have. I had a suspicion that this wasn't the first time they had fought monsters. But somehow, I felt they had fought monsters different from the one's Percy and I had.

"A what?" Percy yelled. 

"An ice griffin!" chase yelled, pulling out his sword. "Careful, they-" The creature suddenly opened his mouth and breathed. the landscape on the bottom turned to ice. "Breath ice." chase finished.

"Oh, man, I really wish I replaced my sword after it shattered." Rory muttered. Lena brought out a stick and suddenly a spear came out of it.

"Chase, on your left!" Rory yelled. Chase jumped out of the chariot, and suddenly... he had wings?

"Okay, what is going on here?" Percy called. "Who are you guys and... how can he fly?

"Fight now, talk later." Lena said. "We'll tell you everything after." She promised. 

And with that, we charged.
