Somewhere in Alaska

Solange walked in, a huge, triumphant smile on her face.

Well, it wasn't Solange, but it looked like her. Kronos had made and illusion of her. He waved his hand and the illusion disappeared.

"Did you succeed?" Solange's voice could barely be heard across the room. She was still recovering from the fight. That stupid Rory Landon. She thought she'd won, but the battle was far from over.

"Yes." Kronos's voice boomed. "I got the girl and the scroll."

Solange smiled. She had Rory Landon. She had the scroll. Nothing could stop her now.

At least that's what she thought.
Two guards walked in, carrying an unconscious Lena. Solange's smile disappeared as quickly as it appeared. "You fool! You have the wrong girl!"

She clearly remembered this girl. Lena, the girl who should have died in the last war. She remembered Rapunzel giving her life to save the girl.

"What?" Kronos sounded annoyed.
He'd went through all that trouble to get the wrong girl? Not that he cared about that. If it were up to him, he would have destroyed the Ice Queen and finished what he had started a year ago. Sadly, he couldn't.

Solange had somehow risen him again, and she had the power to undo whatever she had done. At least ten times a day he got the urge to turn her to dust, but apparently he would get destroyed in the process.

Basically, Solange had control over him and everything in his control.

Kronos—or whatever was left of him after the war, hadn't spent the last year carefully planning revenge, just for all his plans to get ruined by some ice witch.

Solange had made a deal with him: help her and she would free him from whatever control she had.

An upside to that was with her revenge on Rory Landon, he would get rid of Percy Jackson in the process.
Of course, that was the plan.

"This isn't Aurora Landon you idiot! For once can't you do something right?" Solange was pissed off. It was bad enough she could barely use magic anymore after what Rory had done. And raising Kronos had sapped almost all of the magic she had left.

But not having magic didn't mean she was completely useless. She had full control over Kronos. And she never accepted failure.
She would make sure Kronos never mad that mistake again.

Rory

"What was in the scroll?"

"Where did Percy and Lena go?"

"Who was that ice witch?"

A bunch of questions were being asked by everyone and I had no idea who was saying what. It wasn't any better outside either.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't one of the people asking the questions.
Lena had just disappeared and Solange had somehow returned from the dead.

Now I was starting to doubt myself. Had I really defeated her? She might have survived the fall and the explosion. I had no idea what she was capable of.

Chase and Annabeth were the only ones who were silent.
Chase sat next to me holding my hand and staring at everyone. No doubt he was trying to figure out what had happened. Like me, he was replaying what happened a month ago when the battle had happened.

Annabeth was just sitting there. She hadn't said a word since Percy had disappeared.

After everyone finally quieted down, Chiron started talking.

"Years ago, when the Greek and Roman sides were split up, I was given that scroll. I was forbidden from opening it. I hav no idea what was in there, but it must be really important."

"But what about Percy and Lena? What happened to them?" Chase said, finally talking.

"I have no idea. I'm sorry I don't know more."

"Wait but why would Solange take Lena? Wouldn't she want me?" I was confused. Sure, Lena had defeated General Searcaster in the war, but I was the one she would want.

A loud noise came from outside.

I looked out the window in front of me to see the last thing I expected at camp. A Dapplegrim.
