Chase

We crowded around the book.

Lena had left a few minutes ago. Me and Rory were about to follow her, but the book decided right then to give us a few more lines:

Back in the other land, the snow queen had decided to release a hoard of ice griffons. While the half-bloods struggled to protect their precious camp, Solange was plotting. 

Aroura Landon.

She thought. That girl will face death in the worst way possible.

A giant came in behind her. The sorceress, Aroura had though too, was defeated.

That was all the book said.

"Wait, General Searcaster?" I asked. "Lena put that giant under a sleeping enchantment. How is she-?"

"Solange is probably strong enough to cancel the enchantment by now." The director said. "How? I do not know. When Aroura- Rory." She corrected herself when getting that look from Rory, "Slid Solange's heart in, it should have stopped her magic."

I realized Percy and Annabeth weren't even paying attention to anyone. They just stared at the book.

"Umm if that book is saying what's happening right now..." Percy started.

"What's happening to camp?" Annabeth sounded panicked. "We have to go back."

"We're coming," Rory said. "You guys have no idea how to defeat those ice griffons." She looked at me. I nodded.

I turned to the director, "tell Lena we left again."

"You don't have to." A voice from behind came. "I'm coming."

We turned around to see Lena standing there.
