Jon: it is not as easy as it looks!

Jon: how dare you! The triangle is an incredibly underestimated instrument and actually requires a lot of skill to play.

Nobody:

Jon: Honestly! All people ever see is that you bang it with a metal rod and it makes a tingly sound!

Clary: but it does...

Jon: But that's not all it does

Jon: there are different techniques involved that can produce highly complex tones and textures.

Clary: right

Jon: Not everyone possesses the natural talent required to play the triangle

Claire: That's actually true.

Claire: Back when I went to mortal school, there was this girl in my group for music and she was going to play the triangle.

Claire: She grabbed the triangle by the metal and hit it with the end of the stick with the rubber grip on it.

Jon: noooooooo

Claire: The teacher had to explain that you held it by the string and played it with the metal end of the stick because the rubber was for holding.

Clary: XD XD XD im dying

Jon: See! It's not as easy as everyone thinks!

Clary: So do you have a triangle?

Jon: Yes, actually. It's my precious baby.

Jon: It's silver plated and has a silvery string. The handle of the beater is holographic and I keep them both in a special velvet-lined case with clasps that I can lock with a little key I wear around my neck. I saved up for 12 years to buy that case.

Clary: But you're only 15

Jon: Exactly.
