So, there are a ton of creator Gods cause there is one for each tribe and I'm not using those. Also, some tribes have different names for Gods or a completely different God for the same thing so I chose one and it'll be a bit mixed, not focused on one tribe. And of course this focuses on African Tribal Gods, not like Egyptian or anything (which I don't think I'm doing so please don't ask)

Engai: God of the Sky and Cattle. He once lived peacefully among the cattle on earth until one day a terrible catastrophe sent him and the cattle into the sky. He tried living in the sky with the cattle, but there just wasn't enough grass so he gave them to a mortal.

Shango: Expert Drummer and Storm God. He lives a life of party and is known for his ability to dance and drum. He's a huge ladies man and has been known to get into fights.

Chonganda: Plant God. When Earth was made he created a single green shoot. He sat and watched it grow until all the world was covered in plants, grasses, trees and bushes. He's a very patient man.

Heitsi-Eibib: His mother was a cow who ate some magic grass that made her become pregnant. She gave birth to the fully-formed Nature God. He's a great shape-changer and helped evolution and putting animals in their most suitable environment. His favorite animals are humans, which is why their allowed to run wild and trample all over the planet.

Olokun: Sea God. Husband of Elusu. He's very quick to anger and has attempted to flood the entire earth before, simply because he was irritated with humans and wanted to wipe them all out.

Elusu: Water Goddess. Wife of Olokun. She's often depicted as scaly, for our purposes she'll be able to transform into a mermaid. She is beautiful and gentle.

Gamab: God of Life and Death. He lives in the sky and directs the fate of mankind. When it is time for someone to die he gets out his bow and shoots them down with an arrow. He likes things orderly, but is otherwise very kind. If someone new comes along he'll offer them a drink from his liquid fat.

Bumba: God of Vomit. In the beginning Bumba, a giant pale-skinned figure, came from the darkness. He was lonely and depressed and it made him ill. He vomited up the sun and light burst through the universe. He choked out the moon, then the stars and finally the earth. Now he's no longer lonely.

Elegua: Trickster God of Crossroads, Beginnings and Opportunities. He can provide opportunists and second chances if you're lucky, but he often likes to make things more complicated and can turn a simple choice into a paradox. He's also a messenger with a like for cigars and rum. He's very good with children though.
