Author's POV:

After June fainted, the cops carried her to the car and drove away, followed by everyone else.

"I know what my daughter did was unforgivable but still, I deeply apologize..." June's mom and dad apologized to Dave and Lydia's parents, they didn't say anything but it was the sign that they are not forgiven.

Ava and Katie tried to calm them down as Yuri was talking to the cops. June was kept inside the prison as tomorrow she would be taken to the court.

"We would try our best to remove execution but nothing is sure" the head officer said

"Thank you so much" Yuri said and took his seat. Everyone was having a dark time, pain and anger was filled in the police station with the lose of hope.

"I'll really hope that you won't give your lives for your daughter's deeds, it's not your fault, you were the best parents one could ever have" Ava said to June's parents as they cried more.

"I don't think so...we must have done something wrong to deserve this" June's mom cried

"You didn't, please don't blame yourself, June was mentally not prepared for all this and her love turned into an obsession.." Katie said.

Dave and Lydia's parents tried for June's execution as Yuri and June's father fought from the other side to cancel it but at the end, no one was sure what would happen.

It was midnight, there was few gossiping sound of the criminals in the nearby cells. June slowly opened her eyes, she was terrified to see herself in a dark room but then realised that what had actually happened.

She couldn't cry, her face was pale and mind was blank.

"I guess it's the end huh?" She remember her parents looking at her with hate and Yuri, Ava and Katie. Everyone hates her, and she knew it's because she was wrong.

"Hey girl, what did you so huh?" Few criminals were laughing at her. She ignored them and started looking around her. There was nothing except a bed cover and the small window, so small that no one can escape.

She smiled at herself, she knew no matter what she couldn't go back to her past again and start everything from fresh.

"It feels good here, right? You deserve it, I am happy for you"

She heard Dave's voice and smiled even more, "you're right, you got what you wanted but hey, I'm going to give you something more"

She tried to reach the window which was a little high and tied the knot of the bed cover.

"Ay man! The chick is going to suicide!" A prisoner shouted as she hurriedly tied the other knot around her neck.

There was howling and all as the cops rushed there and was shocked to see her hanging down. They quickly opened the cell to save her but it was too late by then.

"Damn, this is bad" a cop said to the another

"She is dead, should I call her parents?" The another one asked as he nodded.

June's parents and Yuri came. Ava and Katie was still unaware of that, it seem that Dave and Lydia's parents would be satisfied but it was a huge lose for June's parents but at what cost?

Love?

That single feeling which could end lives of three young students and bring darkness in three nice and happy families? The Obsession brings you back to the same question, but you'll never get the answer but at what cost? Life?

It funny to think how time could turn into something to horrible that no one could even think about this, things happen when we least expect it but at this rate? No one could give the answer and even if someone does, it doesn't matter anyone because no one cares about this as nothing is more costly than the life of a person.

In the morning, June's body was sent to her family and Ava and Katie also got the news. It was sad that they lost someone so important, even June's relatives were there who were more concerned about the drama instead of her death.

"Ava, Katie, Yuri...thank you for coming here today" June's mom said to them, "I really hope for a happy future to all of you"

"Thank you, aunty" they said to her with full of concern, "Please take a seat"

Her mom became really weak in that one night, without any make-up or anything, she looked so faded but maybe that's how it was meant to be.

"I'll bring you some water" June's dad said and brought some water to her but she couldn't drink it. They lost their hope completely and the hope couldn't be bring back again.
