Chapter Summaries/Ch. 26 Prep

If you're reading this and there are several chapters posted after this then don't bother here :) just keep on reading

Since it's been like a year since I've posted any chapters I'm assuming a lot of you probably forget a lot that's happened. So, if you can't remember, and you don't want to re read the entire past 25 chapters, I took the liberty to make a few short chapter summaries for you guys. Feel free to read them... or don't, your choice. But tomorrow or the next day I'll be posting chapter 26 so get ready :D

Chapter 1

Rob is a blue gem/mage, he tries to learn a complicated magic class, and after being hit by a streak of white light discovers he has unlocked the magic class he was pursuing along with the two forbidden classes before blacking out.

Chapter 2

Preston is a red gem/outcast and is chased out of Oresville, worsening his self-hatred for being a lava creeper mutant. He has a tamed wolf named Silver who is his only friend and drifts from town to town to steal food before moving on when it becomes too dangerous. A streak of light hits him and he blacks out. Preston wears a cloak to cover his identity.

Chapter 3

Vikk is a green gem/commoner, and he is disgusted with the attitudes of the villagers, and sympathizes the mutant although he has never met him or knows what he looks like. Jordan, the mayor, rallies the town to go hunt the mutant, and as they prepare Vikk steals a horse and races off towards the forest surrounding the town to go warn the mutant (which is Preston). He is hit by a streak of light and injured as he is thrown off his horse, which bolts to the forest in fear, and promptly blacks out.

Chapter 4

Brice, a purple gem/warrior, is ambushed by a mage while delivering a package for Seto. The mage gets away, but Jerome, also a purple gem, defends Brice and scares the mage away. Jerome lives in a Jungle with Sky as the king, and a messenger tells Jerome Sky wants him to deliver a scroll to Notch. Jerome wishes his other friends to complete the task for him, but they are all busy with other errands. Jerome reluctantly agrees, and has the messenger bring the minor lay injured Brice to the healer with instructions to let him stay a night in the inn and lend him a horse to ride back to Oakview so he can report to Seto. Jerome traverses the Jungle into a snowylplains on a horse, heading Southwest to the capital, with plans to head West at the ocean, then across a small plains to the capital. A snowstorm kicks up and Jerome is forced to take shelter under a tree with chestnut before he is hit with a streak of light and blacks out.

Chapter 5

Mitch is a purple gem leading a group of hoodie purple gems on a nether fortress raid with his fellow purple gems Matt and Pete. Matt is a cyborg and his voice is slightly metallic. Mitch is ambushed by a ghost and breaks a few ribs, forcing him to let Matt and Pete lead the group on and him to double back to go back to the village and heal. On his way back he is hit with a streak of light and blacks out in a cluster of low hanging Glowstone.

Chapter 6

Lachlan is a gold gem/royalty, and is a rebellious adventure loving prince. He is stuck in a banquet, and gets in a squabble with his parents quickly losing his temper and being sent to his room. There, he sneaks out through the window to go explore the dark oak forest surrounding the castle, before being hit by a streak of light and passing out.

Chapter 7

All six members experience a dream where dream Notch explains he has fallen, and they have become white gems, each receiving some of Notch's power, and tasked with the job to kill Herobrine to revive Notch. They will be granted powers, although after defeating Herobrine they will lose said powers and revert to their normal gems. Herobrine will have four non gem bearing mon human hybrids with keys, and they must get all these keys to access Herobrine.

Chapter 8

The reader learns Preston is injured by wetness as he wakes up to Silver licking his face. Accepting he has a white gem, he rolls out of the way as Vikk horse runs by and goes back in that direction to investigate. He sees Vikk passed out and injured in the grass, and the villagers think he's the one who did it. Preston runs away and the villagers give chase, cutting his calf with an arrow as he scoops up Silver and runs for his life. He stumbles and falls into a clearing where he sees a tower, and crawls desperately towards it. Rob comes out just before the villisgers arrive, a cloth covering his gem. Rob fends off everyone single handedly, killing most and injuring more, and making a mess of the landscape. He sustains major injuries including an arrow to his arm and a gash on his stomach. Tired and worn, he beckons Preston inside to heal and Preston sees his white gem.

Chapter 9

Vikk wakes up to a broken arm and the survivors of Oresville retreating. He regroups with Kenny and lies about his injury, playing along as if Preston hurt him. After moments of self doubt, Vikk sneaks off in the night with some food armor and weapons. Although not intending to go to the forest, Vikk is chased there by a spider and wanders off into it at night.

Chapter 10

Jerome awakes freezing in the snow biome. Remembering his dream, he glances off in the direction of the capital and sees the sky there is clouded with a dark vortex, lightning constantly flashing. Jerome races back to the village to warn everyone, and even though it is nigh he does not encounter any mobs. Upon arriving, he is met with chaos as his entire village is aflame and everything is burnt down. Bodies litter the place, and he sees a spider with shite glowing eyes scuttling away, vowing revenge against Herobrine. He discovers Mitch pinned under a massive pillar and throws it away like nothing. Mitch is alive, but his face and neck are burnt, he's scratched up, and there's a large gash on his arm from the pillar. Jerome goes to scavenge for any left over healing potions, but Mitch begins to cough and Jerome glimpses his white gem.

Chapter 11

Mitch wakes up in pain, with even more broken ribs due to the pillar that fell on him. Mitch, not comfortable with telling Jerome about his gem, leaves that part out as he tells Jerome how he got there. Jerome catches his lie, having already seen Mitch's gem, and reveals his own. Mitch continues his story saying how upon his arrival to the villisge everything was on fire and hundreds of white eyed mobs were swarming the area. He reveals Sky, Ty, and Jason must still be alive as they were out on errands, and he saw Brice fleeing on a horse, but everyone else is dead. At the end, the duo figure out Jerome's power is super strength.

Chapter 12

Lachlan is excited to show off his gem to is parents when he wakes up, and returns to the castle. However Lachlan's dad thinks he is an imposter after hearing rumours about a black gem, and orders him to be killed. Heartbroken, Lachlan is forced to flee. He jumps out a window, but as he darts into the forest, he falls into a deep ravine.

Chapter 13

Rob is tired after using up all his energy from casting spells, but he manages to heal himself and the mutant. After introductions, he manages to get Preston to open up a bit to him, after being so isolated and hated for being a red gem. Rob explains his power is having access to the two forbidden magic classes- Aether and End. They discover Preston's power is he is able to melt into a puddle of lava and reform at will.

Chapter 14

Rob gets Preston to completely open up to him, and they become friends. Rob explains he has an idea of how to help them find the other four white gems, as well as they keyholders, which is the name Rob has given the four mob human hybrids guarding Herobrines keys, using magic.

Chapter 15

Vikk is struggling to survive all the mobs in the forest at night. His sword breaks, and he is forced to battle a zombie in hand to hand combat. The aspect of respawning is explained, the rules being

-The only way someone truly dies is if their gem is broken
-Respawning can take anywhere from a day to a month depending on the fatality of the injury
-White and black gems can not be broken by blue, green, red, gold, or purple gems
-It is unclear wether mobs can damage white or black gems

The zombie bites Vikk, and in the morning a creeper is about to kill him when Rob and Preston come to the rescue. They found him due to Robs magic, which has connected white lines between all their gems, that will become increasingly brighter as they near one another, and only visible to those six. The lines disappear for good when any members meet one another. However, seriously injured, Vikk passes out with the thought that they are going to kill him as they killed his friends. Of course, this isn't the case.

Chapter 16

Jerome and Mitch confirm that Jerome's power is super strength, and then Jerome races odd to find healing items for Mitch. When he returns, he drops all the potions in shock at the sight of Mitch having massive translucent white wings, with a reddish brown hue. He shouts in surprise, and discovers super strength also applies to his voice, giving him a sonic scream. Touch does not affect Mitch's wings, meaning they can not be physically damaged. In order to heal Mitch, partly so he can practice flying, they decide to follow the horde of mobs as it will accomplish at least one of two things: either they will figure out what's going on, or, they will arrive at Setos and heal Mitch, since the mobs are headed in that direction.

Chapter 17

Although slightly underprepared, the duo begin trekking through the jungle. At night, they discover no mobs spawn anymore. They continue to make their way to the swamp Seto inhabits, which is composed of small bridges and walkways connecting all the lesser island to the central island holding Setos tower. They worry momentarily the mobs will harm Seto, before remembering the dual force fields protecting his base. The tendrils of light also appear, and they guess that the lights will lead them to the other white gems. One line is brighter, heading SouthWest in the direction of the powers kingdom, and the other three are dimmer and pointing East. They decide to head to Setos first, then go search out the gem nearest to them, as they seem to be all alone compared to the other three who seem to be together or st least near one another. An unknown POV is written st the end, with this dialogue:

      ~????'s P.O.V.~

The two boys nod, turning on their heels and setting hastily off to the Mage's domain-which I now recognize as Seto. Seto... That sneaky little sorcerer. He's been causing me a deal of trouble... I frown inwardly, instinctively scrunching up my nose at the thought of him. But then, just as I'm about to teleport away, my eyes are drawn to a soft white glint.

"Oh... What's this? They're white gems? How... Interesting. I'm sure he'll find this new information quite beneficial."

Chapter 18

Lachlan awakes in the bottom of the ravine, and quickly discovers he had died and respawned. As a consequence, he is stuck with no items and no way out. This gives him time to reflect on himself, and he realized he's always really been a jerk to people and is determined to change. The tendrils of light appear, and he begins searching for a way out. He runs into a gang of creepers, all with white eyes, and is forced to attempt to jump to a high ledge to get away. His power is then discovered to be elasticity, meaning he can stretch out his body like a rubber band (think of Mrs. incredible). He gets out of the ravine safely.

Chapter 19

The chapter begins with this dialogue

3rd P.O.V. As seen from ???? And ?????????~

"What?! What do you mean, two white gems?!"

...

"Curse that Notch! I knew there was something strange to what he said! Very well... I have a mission for you. If there are two of them, there very well could be more, and so we need to prevent their assembly. Go and track down this 'Seto' figure you keep babbling on about. Use him to lure them in, by any means necessary."

...

"Too strong? Ha! No one can match my strength. Take this-it should help you nicely. Now be gone, we mustn't waste time. And while you're out, command some of your lacking to keep an eye out for any other pests. I don't need them interfering with my domination."

"Oh and Endi, be mindful to protect your key."

At first Preston is reluctant about Vikk, recognizing him as one of the villisgers from Oresville, but Rob convinced him to give Vikk a chance. Rob tried to heal him, but is too tired from using up so much magic and Preston assures him he will take care of their comrade while Rob goes and rests. Rob agrees, leaving Preston to treat Vikks wounds. Preston does well, but neglects that the major bit on Vikks upper arm is a zombie bite. He then shows off new tricks to Rob that he's learnt with his power, including the ability to transform himself and his limbs into tools such as swords and pick axes, and the ability to clone himself, by repeating halving in size, into twos and fours and eights and so on.

Chapter 20

Please go back and read chapter 20, there's a lot of important stuff so it'll be less confusing if you just read it instead of me trying to summarize it.

Chapter 21

Vikk wakes up and figures out he's in the mages house, and all his wounds are healed besides his arm. He goes to escape, then rob returns and explains. Silver returns and rob realizes Preston is in trouble. Before he leaves, Vikk figures out his power is shape shifting, and the further the thing is from his actual body size the more the transformation hurts, he also can't turn into humans or mobs. Rob leaves and soon after Vikk faints, and then chapter ends

Chapter 22

The chapter begins with this dialogue

Unknown P.O.V.~

"Master, there have been reports of a third white gem, spotted in the ravine near the Power's kingdom. The creepers actually believe the individual to be Prince Lachlan himself."
A long sigh. "Of course Notch converted more than two. Keep an eye on him-have some of the spiders track him. Until the other two are dealt with, I don't want to head of any trouble from him. Speaking of which, how did the... Talk with Seto go? Well I trust?"
"Indeed."
"Very good. When will the plan proceed?"
"If all goes well, the two white gems, Seto, and any comrades will be eradicated today."

Lachlan sets off to go find the two other gems nearest to him (being Mitch and Jerome), and along the way he cuts trough the jungle and discovers the ruins of Sky's kingdom. He notices that the siege of mobs storming major towns and villages are breaking peoples gems, preventing them from respawning. In search of supplies, Lachlan goes to the only remaining structurally sound building, which is the castle. There he finds King Sky, Ty, and Jason taking refuge in the castle having survived. Lachlan chooses to reveal his identity of being a white gem, in hopes they can all join forces.

Chapter 23

Mitch and Jerome arrive at Setos swamp and cross to the centre isle to his cottage. However instead of Seto they are greeted by Brice, Pete, and Matt. Questions get thrown around, Brice, Pete, and Matt wondering about the duos gems, how Mitch is alive, why he has wings, and the Merome duo wondering where Seto is, and why Pete and Matt aren't in the nether. After Mitch and Jerome explain their half, Brice explains how he escaped Sky's kingdom to Setos place where Seto after hearing about the mobs left to investigate. Pete and Matt were the only ones to escape the nether, and made their way to Setos also, and they are about to explain they had to flee before Seto returns tired and slightly injured. However at the mention of Merome having white gems, Setos eyes turn white and he attacks.
