Delphinea is a nation that I made up for Wuthering Waves. Inspired by Greek mythology. So yes it is also vaguely inspired by Amphoreus from Honkai: Star Rail shut up and let me cook.

Let's start off with an explanation of the nation.

Delphinea is an island nation with the capital city of Solunam. Ruled by their Sentinel Delphi who takes two forms. The form of a Dolphin and a human. No mermaid form though. Delphi is said to be able to predict the future of the entire world but keeps this power for themself and their Resonator. So because of this mentality Delphi closed off Delphinea from the rest of Solaris using a wall made by ocean water. There is only one time a year where Delphi opens the ocean wall for outsiders to visit Delphinea. The Daybreak Festival. A festival celebrating all the Sentinels in the world who have protected and brought forth peace to Solaris. So representatives of well-known and respected factions from each nation are invited to join the festivities. From the Jinzhou City Hall to the Fool's Troupe of Rinascita. The only faction not allowed to join the festivities are the Fractsidus for obvious reasons. And it just so happens that the main story of Delphinea takes place during the Daybreak Festival. It also just so happens to be the first year a representative of the Fractsidus has been invited. But so have you as the Legendary Rover. So you can discover what the Fractsidus is up to in Delphinea. Also when you get to Delphinea you, the player, will discover that playable Resonators from Delphinea can wield a new element that isn't Aero, Glacio, Electro, Fusion, Spectro, or Havoc. This new element is Aquo. Representing how Delphi controls water as well as predicts the world's future.

Now onto characters because I have the plot just not how I want it to be executed in my head at the moment.

First off we have, Apollo. Delphinea's Keeper of Prophecies. The leader of all of Delphinea and Delphi's appointed Resonator. Only he is allowed to hear the prophecies seen by Delphi. He's a five star, Spectro Resonator who wields gauntlets. But instead of using them like gauntlets Apollo summons a bow and arrow to use in combat instead.

Next is, Matrix Gelong (Fool's Troupe). The representative of Rinascita's Fool's Troupe after leaving the Black Shores to go to Rinascita where he met Brant and Roccia and joined the Fool's Troupe. As a newer member of the Fool's Troupe he was sent as the representative for the Daybreak Festival. He's a five star, Glacio Resonator who wields pistols. (If you don't know Matrix's lore go read by Wuthering Waves oc book he has two chapters in there about his first self and his Bloom Bearer form).

Next up, Carlos Montelli. Representative of the Montelli Family. Carlotta's younger brother and excellent gunman. Nobody messes with the Montellis when Carlos is in the room because he never misses a shot. He's a five star, Fusion Resonator who wields pistols.

Next, Francis. Representative of the Order of the Deep from Rinascita. A loyal Acolyte of the Order but not that much of a fan of Phoebe. So he volunteered her to be representative but was sent instead. He doesn't like the situation because that means he can't do his work but he's dealing with it and behaving his best. He's a four star, Glacio Resonator who wields a Rectifier.

Next, Faguan. Representative of Jinzhou City Hall. The Chief Justice of Jinzhou's court of law appointed by Jue. He's poetic but never jumps to conclusions without the proper facts first. He's a five star, Electro Resonator who wields a sword.

Next, Arachne. Representative of the Fractsidus. An Overseer of the Fractsidus who actually originates from Delphinea. But during a Daybreak Festival he snuck onto a ship that was going to Jinzhou and escaped Delphinea. Joining the Fractsidus after getting to Huanglong becoming an Overseer pretty quickly and very sadistic. Which for some reason makes him speak in the third person. He has a very prominent weaver/spider/sewing theme. As you fill up his Forte Gauge his coat turns into threads leaving him in a very exposing crop-top as sewing needles surround him. He's a five star, Havoc Resonator who wields a sword. In his Ult he actually pulls a sword from a gem implanted into his chest actually.

Next, Dionysus. Owner of the Bacchanal Drinks and Party Club who's almost constantly inebriated. If you want the hottest gossip in Delphinea go to the Bacchanal Drinks and Party Club where a drunk Dionysus is probably giving you all that. He's a four star, Electro Resonator who wields a broadblade.

Next, Aphrodite. A fortune teller at the Bacchanal Drinks and Party Club who specializes in love readings. Her readings are so accurate it's actually scary. Nobody dares mess with the matches she makes. But while she is looking for her own love she knows that Rover isn't it. She's a four star, Fusion Resonator who wields a Rectifier.

Next, Triton. Head of the Delpinea's Fishers Organization. He often is found down at the beach with his line. Especially during the Daybreak Festival for when the ocean wall is down Delphinea experiences a few days of constant high tide making fishing more prosperous unlike when the wall is up and Delphinea is in constant low tide where the fishing is average. He's a five star, Aquo Resonator who wields a sword.

Next, Thalassa. A dancer that often performs in the square of Solunam. When not performing she's a more reserved person but when performing it's like she's the embodiment of the word extrovert. She's a four star, Aquo Resonator who wields gauntlets.

Next, Ares. The general of Delphinea's Flaming Army who is extremely loyal to Apollo. Leading the Flaming Army into battle against Tacet Discords to protect Delphinea from disaster. He's a five star, Fusion Resonator who wields a broadblade.

Next, Phobos. The second in command of the Flaming Army. He follows Ares's orders to the letter and has a strong sense of justice. He keeps the soldiers in line especially when a certain someone else makes trouble. He's a four star, Aquo Resonator who wields a sword.

Next, Demos. A regular soldier in the Flaming Army but he makes the most trouble out of anyone. Something that makes Phobos angry to no end. And it doesn't make it better that Ares doesn't do anything about it. In Phobos's eyes at least. Demos is a four star, Aero Resonator who wields gauntlets.

Finally (as of now at least), Delphin. A mysterious person who doesn't seem to know how the world works expecting everything to be given to him instead of having to pay for it. He's often seen around the festivities of the Daybreak Festival but has only ever interacted with stall owners and Rover. Not answering any major personal questions. He's a five star, Aquo Resonator who wields a Rectifier.

So that's all I have on Delphinea right now. I hope you like it. Will I do something like this for Honkai: Star Rail? I don't know! We'll see when we get there.
