Chapter 2
Tsumugi smiled as she observed the seven men practising their choreography in a happy manner. They danced to the beat of the music with enthusiasm despite the sweat streaming down their faces and the growing exhaustion they were feeling.
Flicking her eyes to her watch, she blew a whistle, drawing everyone's attention in the studio. "All right, time's up! We're going to rest for a while, okay?" They bob their heads.
The tall dark blue-haired guy beside of her started to collect all the water bottles. "I'll help you hand out them," said Banri.
She flashed a big toothy smile as a thank you and began to lift a box containing all the towels. She strode towards them, passing out the towels to each of them. "So far, has anyone feel nauseous or dizzy?" Tsumugi asked. She doesn't want anyone to get sick, especially when their upcoming live is around the corner.
They shake their heads. "Thank you for asking. We'll let you know if we feel unwell," said a purple-haired man as he wiped his sweaty face with the towel he get.
Knock! Knock!
They directly turned their attention to the studio's entrance. They were all astonished to see President Takanashi standing in the doorway. Why is he here? Is there some bad news that they need to know?
"Tsumugi-chan?" Otoharu approached them and, as always, a smile that everyone remember engraved on his face. "As I thought, you forgot about it."
"Hm?" Tsumugi tilted her head, confuse by what her father's words. "I'm sorry? Do I forget something?"
"Shouldn't you pick Aoi at the entrance? I was expecting this to happen when you tell me that you will watch these boys practising but I hope you keep this one thing in your mind. Our company building may be small, totally different from Yaotome's but remember, the path inside is a bit confusing. She could be lost."
"Gahh! I totally forgot about it. L-Let me g-go get her," she said anxiously. How in the world could she forget about her?
Otoharu chuckled at his daughter's demeanour. He admits that it is quite an amusing scene to see her daughter fretting over the matter. Tsumugu goes silent as she heard his father laugh. Confusingly, she tilted her head a bit. "Why are you laughing?"
"Oh, it's nothing"
"Hm??"
"Ah, don't worry about Aoi. I've brought her here along with me"
"Really?" She asked. Her eyes twinkled at the words coming out of her father's mouth. She was so eager to introduce her precious sister; Aoi to her boys.
"Yes and I believe... She might be outside." He pointed his thumb towards the door. "She still can't get used to the surroundings that crammed with people she doesn't know, even though her work is full of those strangers. I'm wondering what can be done with that thing of hers"
She heavily sighed. "I think the same thing too..."
And then, the atmosphere began to be quiet for a moment. Everyone was looking at each other, wondering if they should speak up or just stay silent. After all, they have nothing to do with this family's matter.
"So!" The president clapped his hands once. "That's the only reason why I came here. I'm sorry but I have a lot of paperwork to deal with. Don't push yourself too hard, okay?" He looked at the seven men who were sitting on the floor. Shifting his gaze to Tsumugi, he gently stroke her head. "I'll tell her to come in."
"Thank you," she replied.
With that, Otoharu walked away. It wasn't until a few minutes after his disappearance behind the door and a girl appeared.
Iori was the first to realize his presence besides Tsumugi and Banri who went to get it. Other members of his group were busy chatting so hard that they were unaware of the presence of someone new in the studio. He tried to call one of them, but it didn't work.
Reluctantly, he turned his gaze back to the girl. He researched the girl, from how she was dressed, to her looks. He doesn't know why but he feels so attracted to the stranger. As if he was being charmed. But in logically, it may be due to her silky, shiny black hair as well as her glossy blue eyes. She looked so charming, even though the girl wasn't smiling, boasting her blank face.
'I wonder how would it feels to touch that hair. Is it soft to the touch?'
"Wait, what I was thinking about," said Iori, who had just realized. His other members stopped talking as soon as they heard the teen-speak in a loud voice.
"Is something the matter?", asked an orange-haired man who's sitting next to him.
Iori couldn't even say a word from his mouth and Tsumugi had beaten him first, calling out all of their attention. The girl, who Iori assumed as dazzling was standing next to her, eyes looking down.
'This girl is-' The other six thinks.
