Chapter 6
Gaku crossed both hands. "Why do you want me to do that?" He raised a question. The vein could be seen on his forehead, clearly proving that he tries to hold back his anger that he had for years towards the boy.
"Hmm, for fun?" He smiles cynically. Oh, how happy he was when he manages to tease the guy's anger. It seemed like a hobby for him to tick off the older man's anger and to be honest, he is totally into it.
"You brat-" Gaku hisses, taking one step forward. It would be his pleasure to land a single punch on that boy's pretty face and if he could do so, his heart would surely blossom in pure happiness.
"Tenn!" Ryunosuke interrupted, rushing out of the back of the counter and standing between them as a barrier. Both hands were on the side, creating a gap between Gaku and Tenn. "Sigh! You two... Please don't fight over here, let alone in front of the girl. She's a kid, remember. We don't want to show her some bad examples, right Gaku?"
The grey-haired sighed as he nodded, taking a step back. "I will go to her, she's been waiting too long."
Before Gaku could walk away from the two, Tenn spoke back. "You know, it's a little surprising to see you so close to a girl. Well, other than Tsumugi-chan so, I assume that girl must have something special about her right? And I want to know that. After all, I plan to ask for a little help from her," he says.
Gaku just glanced at his member and proceeded walking towards Aoi. He took his place in front of Aoi, lowering down his head. He took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. Did the three of us get too noisy?"
"You think?"
Her voice draped with sarcasm. To be honest, Aoi felt more relaxed with the man's presence near her. As a person who is now closer to her, Aoi already considers the man as her brother and actually, it was one of her dreams to have a brother plus a sister when she was younger. Besides, she's an only child in her family before.
"Ughhh" His face turned pale. He looks gloomy and Aoi can't help but laugh. "Hahaha!"
Her rather flashy laugh caught the attention of Ryunosuke and Tenn who's sitting at the bar counter. They both whirled their heads, wondering what was going on back there. Then the two of them moved in and took their place next to Gaku.
The black-haired automatically stops laughing as she looked at the unfamiliar faces. "Uhh... Gaku-san?" She called out his name.
'Why does he have to be shy just because of small things?'
Gaku lifted up his head and was shocked to see his two members sitting next to him. "What are you two doing?" He crossed his arms and looked at them in shock. "You guys know that the two of us are having a conversation right now..."
"Yes, so?" Tenn replies.
"Sooo... What the heck are you two doing here?!" Gaku pushes their heads away. Unfortunately for him and miraculously for Aoi, they both remained in their sit as if they had no effect by it.
'Woah, that's impressive!' Aoi thought as her eyes went wide.
"Ryunosuke pulled Gaku's hand away from his face. "We just thought maybe we could both join in your conversation together? It looks like fun to us."
"We hope you don't mind," agreed Tenn. He turns back his attention on Gaku as the guy throws a glare on him. "You better get your hands off my face." He spat.
"If you don't want my hands on your face, why don't you leave," Gaku implied, his eyebrows twitching in annoyance.
They were both silent, each throwing a harsh glance at each other. While Tenn and Gaku fight with each other like immature adults, Ryunosuke begins to take the golden shot to know the girl, asking her to sit at another table and of course, Aoi would accept the invitation, after all, she was less than enthusiastic about fighting.
With all the tragedy that has happened to her in the past, the hatred for violence has begun to subside in her. She believes that the world will be a safe and secure place if everything is done in a positive, safe way. However, that's not the case in today's world.
"I'm sorry for the two of them," said Ryuu, who started the conversation. He felt sorry and kind of ashamed that the girl had to see such a rude fight.
Aoi shook her head as she waved his hands-off. "N-no, that's okay but... Do they both always be that way?" She pointed her finger out.
"Unfortunately, yes."
"Hmm. Is that so?" She let out a few giggles. "I didn't know that Gaku-san had such a personality. I thought he was-"
"A mature and cool ones?"
"Yes! Looks like I've managed to uncover another secret about him, haven't I?" The girl laughed again but not too loudly. Her face looked so happy and the smile on her face really made her look so much more stunning.
Ryunosuke turns speechless. As soon as his eyes settled on the teenager's face, he knew that he was beginning to fall for her. Everything is due to that smile alone. After all, what can he do? His heart was pounding hard in his chest with that smile of hers.
"Umm... Are you listening to me?" Aoi hovered her hand in front of Ryunosuke's face. The teen had called him many times, but she didn't receive any response other than the straight stare on her face.
"Y-yeah, sorry." He stroked the back of his neck awkwardly. Staring at a new girl for quite a time isn't something you want in the first conversation that you have. It could have given her a bad impression and Ryunosuke really didn't want that to happen.
Especially to that girl.
