Me and Annie had a fun time at the mansion, but after a couple days, I had to go. It was my last night at the mansion so Annie can resume the rest of the week with Mr. Warbucks. I was sitting in the corner of Mr. Warbucks' office watching Punjab flew a toy plane, entertaining Annie. Mr. Warbucks was at his desk. He was on the phone for a minute until he got off the phone.

"Where do you wanna go?" He asked Annie.

"To Washington to meet President Roosevelt!"

He looked at Annie like she was crazy.

"How about a movie?" Grace asked.

"Great idea! Pepper went to a movie once, she said it was swell."

"Great idea, you could take her to the Radio City Music Hall."

"Why don't you come with us Mr. Warbucks?"

"Annie, you may think that I don't work hard but I do, I'm a busy man, a very busy man."

We were silent.

"Pepper lies a lot. She probably never went to a movie neither."

"I never went either," I said.

Mr. Warbucks looked at us with empathy.

"Punjab, buy all the 8:00 shows, let's all go to the movies!"

Soon, me, Annie, and Grace were in her room getting ready. I never realized Grace had long hair.

"You know, you should leave your hair down, it'll look so pretty," Annie said.

"No Annie, I can't, I just can't."

Grace smiled.

"I should put my hair up too, I always leave it down. The only time I had braids in my hair was at that nun orphanage with my uniform."

"You go ahead and do that Vicki. Come on girls, let's go to the movies!"

"Let's go see the stars!" Annie said.

"Yeah!"

We were singing about the movies and the stars until we got there. Sandy went with us too. We saw a romantic drama with Greta Garbo and Robert Taylor. The ending was sad though. Annie fell asleep during the movie, Grace was crying, Mr. Warbucks handed her a tissue. He maybe a grump but I think he likes Grace. We went back to the mansion. Mr. Warbucks carried Annie to her bed. When Grace and Mr. Warbucks left Annie's room, I petted Sandy gently.

"Night Sandy."

He licked my hand. I kissed Annie on the forehead and went to bed.
