Celestine's P.O.V

It is summertime.

And guess what? wala pa ring nagbabago.

I spend my minutes on calling him, texting him. But I receive no reply or answer.

Pero walang magagawa itong pag-iiyak, I'm determined to never give up. Babawi ako sa lahat ng nangyari sa kanya.

Because I still believe that he will go back.

He will go back and see me again.

I miss seeing his face, touching his hand, his beautiful hair.

Biglang nagring ang phone ko.

Tumayo ako sa aking pagkakahiga, baka sakaling siya na yun.

Antagal kong hinintay, gustong-gusto ko nang marining ang boses niya.

But what I saw is not him, kundi si Emma.

I guess its another day.

"Hello?"

"Hello Celestine? Iniimbita ka lang naman namin ni Kurt na lumabas, pwede ka?"

Since, wala naman akong ginagawa.

"Yeah sure."

"Okay, papunta na kami sa bahay mo, susunduin ka nalang namin, bye."

"Bye." I said at binababa ko ang phone ko.

Bye. That word, it seems like hindi ko kayang sabihin sa kanya yun.

We were not hopeless. But why do you have to go?

Why do you have to leave so soon Nicholas?

Makailang oras, dumating na sina Emma.

"Celestine." she said and she smiled.

Gusto kong tanungin. Gustong-gusto kong tanungin kung sakaling tumawag ba si Nick kay Kurt.

"Kurt, May sinabi ba sayo si Nicholas? I mean by any chance, have you and him talk once?" I asked.

Umaasa ako, pilit na umaasa, but I can't give up.

Sabihin man ng ibang tao, na masyado akong overeacting, But I just can't.

He already consumed my whole heart.

"Wala pa eh. Tinetext ko rin siya wala namang reply." Kurt amswered.

"Ahh, ganon? ah sige." sagot ko.

After magorder, It seems like Kurt and Emma are sad too.

"If only you know Celestine, we've tried how many times, pero hindi talaga siya sumasagot eh." Emma started the conversation.

I believe in him, I know him, I know that he wouldn't do this to hurt me.

After naming kumain, we've spotted Natalie at the mall.

Geez, nakakahiya.

"Ah, Hi Natalie, uhmm, Did you and Nicholas talked? I just don't know kasi eh wala siya sa bahay nila." pagtatanong ko.

"Tatanungin ko rin sana sayo eh, kasi di ko rin alam kung saan siya nagpunta." sagot ni Natalie.

"Ah sige thank you."

After that, we've said goodbye, at tuluyan ng umuwi.

"Cel, nandito lang kami anytime If you need comfort." sabi ni Emma.

"Tawagan mo lang kami." sabi naman ni Kurt and he smiled.

"Thank you guys." matipid kong sagot.

Pero iba pa rin talaga yung comfort mo.

Your comfort Nicholas, Its like in a quick time, okay na ko.

Pero just like what happened, hindi ako okay.

Just come back, please.
