"Oh my! I killed her!"

"Marcille relax, maybe she's alright."

"Doubt it, she's not moving." I felt a small kick near my stomach. I opened my eyes and saw everyone surrounding me, " Can you please stop kicking me."

" You're alive!" After settling down with the yelling, Marcille quickly patch me up while Senshi was cooking me something to recharge my energy. As Marcille was healing me I felt a strong itch all over my body.

" Gahh why is my back itching so bad!"

"That just means it's working"

"I don't think this is normal."

"Wait hold on, why are you following us?" I looked towards Chilchuck with his arms crossed, who gave me a glare. Before I could say anything Laios quickly jumped up," GAsp! Do you want to join our party!" Senshi just walked up to me and handed me a bowl of soup.

"Wait! What did I just sai-"

" But Chilchuck."

"No, I'm pretty sure that they don't want to join a party that they just met. That's just d-"

"Actually I was going to ask if I could join you guys." I smiled at the group.

"...huh."

" What really!"

"You can't be serious."

"Are ye sure?"

"Of course," I turn to look at Laios, " After hearing what happened to your sister I want to help as much as I can. I know what it's like to lose someone you deeply care about. I can help distract any monster for you guys and I know a couple spells."

"Wait, you know how to do magic, what kind?" Marcille spoke.

" Just some of the basics plus something new that I'm practicing."

"Ooh like what?!"

" I think it's best if I show you guys," I put the empty bowl down and place my hand on the dungeon's floor. A small snake creature with wings appeared from the ground and flew around the group before flying back towards me.

"That's so cool!!"

" What is THAT!"

" How are you doing that?!" Hebi rubs its head against mines before flying back towards the other again. " My mentor, Utta, taught me everything that I know. I just tweaked the rules a bit." Laios grab Hebi and examine its body.

" What else can you make?! Can you make other creatures from the dungeon, like a dragon or a basilisk!!?"

" Yeah but they might take a while for me to make it accurate."

"What is it made out of?" Senshi asked while holding Hebi who was trying to escape from his grasp. " Usually it's made out of rocks to make them last longer. Sometimes dirt or whatever the ground is made out of. Why?" Chilchuck grabs Senshi's arm letting Hebi go. Hebi quickly disappear back into the ground.

"Should we tell her?"

"What? It's not like you guys eat monsters right?"

"..."

" Right??"

" You guys weren't joking when you say you eat monsters huh?" After reaching the fourth floor, we found another party either unconscious or dead surrounded by treasure bugs and getting flashed by Marcille stun spell. I watched as Senshi cooked up the bugs into jam, skewers and crackers. I couldn't help but laugh at Marcille expression. Chilchuck held up a coin up to his mouth and took a bite.

"This tastes way better than the ones I had before!"

"Of course it is. The beast inside the dungeon always tastes better than the ones outside."

Senshi grabbed a plate and handed it to me, " Here why don't ye try some." I just took it and so many thoughts ran through my head. Do I have to eat?! Maybe I could just starve! Yes! No! Senshi worked hard making this, I would feel bad. Maybe I could just give some to Hebi. Does Hebi even need to eat?

"Are you scared? I turned to Chilchuck who gave me a smirk.

"I'm not scared!! I'm just not a fan of bugs. " Senshi gave me a sad look and took the plate out of my hand

"Oh I'll just make ye something else then."

Shit I hurt his feelings. "No! It's fine! I'll eat it! Don't worry!" I snatched the plate and quickly ate the bugs before they could say anything. " Y-yummy! This is really good!"

We continued walking further into the dungeon and I couldn't help watching Laios pulling out another jam sandwich. Where did he pull it out from? Marcille walked by and gave Laios a stink eye, "How many of those things do you plan to eat?"

"Hey, we made too many.." Laios noticed that I was staring and pulled out another sandwich. " Would you like one?"

"Umm I don't know, I'm pretty stuff." Hopefully he buys it.

" But you didn't eat much of the coin bugs." He held the sandwich up to my face. "Try it! It's pretty good."

Damn it! I can't say no. Look at his face, He looks weirdly excited to see me eat this. I took the sandwich from his hands and took a bite.

"Sooo.."

...

" It's good..." I suddenly felt the room colder. " Is it me or did it just get colder here?"

Marcille looked up and pointed to some white glow in the distance, " Those shimmering white things up there..."

"That's a big group of spirits." Laios grabbed both Marcille and I by the shoulder and pulled us up in front of him. " Let's get out of here before they spot us."

"Spirits?"

"They're probably here by those adventurers' dead bodies."

"We could just obliterate them with magic...oh. That's right. Falin isn't here."

Marcille made a gloomy face, "... I miss her." I was busy finishing my sandwich when Marcille turned around to look at me then suddenly turned her head away. "....was there something on my face?"

" Just some jam on your nose." Laios pointed out.

" Oh thanks."

" There is one behind us. Run!!!" We all quickly ran when Laios drop his sandwich and went back to pick it up.

"Wahhhh!!" Shit. Before I could save him Marcille blast the spirit away. " Hurry up! They're still coming!" We heard laughing coming closer to us and took off running.

"Don't you have any magic that's more lowkey?" Laois asked, "Couldn't you just use a simple spell like Falin?"

"Simple!?" Marcille yelled out, "Are you telling me you had no idea what kind of high level magic she was using!?"

" Falin, Laois sister, she had a real way with spirits." Chilchuck told Senshi and I how Falin would defeat spirits without using violent.

"Wow she sounds cool."

"Sounds like she was quite a person."

"That's right," I look at Marcille, " Falin was amazing. If they won't stop chasing us...then I'll handle them using my magic.."

"Don't be dumb! Are you planning to blow up every single one of them?" 

"It's fine I'll just do what Falin did...a gently embracing explosion."

"Hold up Marcille, let's think about it!?" Chilchuck and I hold Marcille down before she does anything. Senshi found a room for us to hide in. We all waited while Senshi was making something to stop the spirits."...Put it over a flame and...ye've got holy water!" Jesus. As soon as he said that the spirits started coming through the walls!

"They're here!"

"Y/n do something!"

"I can't! They are just ignoring me." The spirits just passed through me and went toward the others. Out of nowhere Senshi started swinging the holy water around hitting the spirits. After all the ghosts were gone, it turns out the ghost made the holy water into sorbet. Senshi gave all of us a bowl.

" I wonder if it's okay to eat something that's just passed through a bunch of spirits."

" Also, should we really be eating such powerful holy water?" Marcille asked.

"..." We watched as Laois took a big bite, " It's great!!"

We all look at each other before taking a bite. And it was delicious, I just wish it wasn't bugs. We were all enjoying the sorbet when Laios spoke. "So, basically..I suppose you could say..we wouldn't be eating this delicious sorbet if Falin were here!"

"..."

"Are you saying you're glad she got eaten?"

"Are you seriously saying that!? Seriously!?"

"What!? No! I..I'm just saying-"

"Laios, there are somethings ye should just keep to yerself."
