 After I was done looking around the area for monsters I went back to the camp. I overheard the orcs talking about some usual guests.

" Have you seen that the Chief brought back some adventurers."

" Yes you seen the look at the elf."

" What a barbaric face!"

Adventurers? I walk up to them, " What did I miss?''

" Oh Y/n you're back already."

" Yeah there weren't that many monsters around here. Did the Chief kidnaped some adventurers again?!"

" Yeah it seems so, at least they bought back food supplies."

" Damn it, I'll go talk to him." It didn't take long to look for them. I turned the corner and found the chief arguing with a blonde elf while the rest of the party was busy kneeling dough?? The elf seemed to notice me and stop yelling.

" Huh? Who are you?!" Now everyone stops what they were doing to look at me. Bahay noticed and quickly ran towards me.

'' Y/n! You're back!" He jumped into my arms and I almost fell back.

" Hey buddy, how are you?"

" We are making bread."

"How about I join you guys." I said walking to the pen. I turned to look at Chief Zon , " I thought I told you to stop kidnapping every adventurer you see, this is the sixth time this month." He just gave me an irritating look.

"So who are you?" I turned and saw a guy in armor looking at me. I sat down on the ground and looked back at the group.," I'm Y/n, sorry about all the trouble you've been through, I'm usually here dealing with this type of mess." I was quickly given some dough for me to kneel by the dwarf man.

" I'm Laios, that's Senshi, Chilchuck and Marcille," I looked back to see the Chief and Marcille went back arguing again. I signed and quickly finished kneading the dough. As the bread was cooking, the dwarf man came by and sat next to me, " How do ye know Zon, I'm sure he's tough when meeting tall-man folks."

" Oh trust me he was until I help him out with dealing with monsters, right Zon~"

" That's Chief to you, you were just a shield."

" So rude! I still have the scar you gave me when you first found me!" I turn back to group, "So how did you guys end up here?"

" We were trying to trade vegetables with some merchants until we were stuck in a middle of an attack by the orcs." Laios spoke, " What about you."

" Oh me? I was wandering around here alone when I bump into the Chief and his group getting attack by a group of monster then boom they took me in after I prove myself that I was useful unless they would have just killed me."

"..."

All was going well until the argument started again on who eats the goddamn bread.

" You said you wanted to make bread for us, so we let you. What we decide to do with it is our choice."

"Are you serious!?"

"Daddy... we made it together, so can't we eat it together?" Bahay you sweet innocent child! In the end we made a huge feast for everyone to share. As we were eating, I was listening to Laios talking about saving his sister from the red dragon. I felt like I was being watched. I turned and saw Marcille keep giving me glances, she noticed that I caught her and turned red.

" Sorry but what did he meant by 'shield'?''

" Well my body is more durable than the average tall-man, plus monsters keep their distances with me.''

"WhAT??!" We both jump at the sudden yelling coming from Laios. He crawled over to us, " Do monsters really stay away from you??"

" Yes but sometimes the bigger monster still tries to kill me."

" That is so interesting! I never heard of such a thing!" He gets closer to my face and takes a sniff on my neck.

"!!!!!"

"Laios!?!!"

Chilchuck and Marcille both pulled Laios as far away from me as they could.

"What the hell was that!"

"Why did you do that!"

"I just wanted to know what she smells like, maybe that's why the monsters stays away."

...

"You idiot!"

"What is wrong with you!"

" We must start going now. Thanks so much for the meal and for sparing our lives." I manage to pull back Chilchuck and Marcille from beating up Laios but they still manage to land some hits on him. As they were walking away I felt a sudden urge to follow them, I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice Chief walking up to me with my stuff packed.

"Here go with them."

"Huh what?"

"Go, I know that look on your face. We will be fine."

" Thank you for taking me in. Tell Bahay that I will meet him again."

"What are you thinking about Laios, you are unusually quiet." Chilchuck glared at the tall-man. It is usually a bad sign when he's thinking too hard.

" I was just wondering if we should have asked Y/n to come along with us."

" Are you serious! We hardly know them plus we can't afford an extra party member."

"I'm more worried about her founding out that we eat monster."

Laios quickly turn to his party scaring them for a bit. " Exactly!! Imagine what kind of monster she can lure that we can eat!"

" Please stop with your weird eat monster obsession for once!!" cried Marcille.

"Both of you shut up I hear something!", The group quick turn to the noise coming from the dark tunnel behind them. Before anyone can say anything Marcille cast an explosion spell on the figure.

"Hey its me Y/n agai-"

Boom!!

" Oh Nooo!! I killed Y/n!!!"
