''Stop Zamindar Babu , where are you taking me to?'' she asked twisting her hands in between mine , trying to get free. But I paid no heed , I just pulled her with me , My grip tightening around her wrists.

''You wanted to learn didn't you bondita? I will help you in that please'' I whispered , as we reached the school building , I hid her behind and told her to hush. We were ready to have a grand entrance inside the school , i am going to educate her no matter what. 

She groaned as I pulled into the school premises, an audible gasp left the lips of the students and the male teacher. I know it was wrong to interrupt a class , but it was urgent and I have so much little time for my school to start , i can't be late too!

''Zamindar Anirudh Roy Choudhary? Here?'' the teacher Parikshit , whom I knew , asked bowing slightly at me , I pursed my lips and nodded. Parikshit had a confused expression etched on his face.

''I am not here for fun , I have no time , so let me get this straight,  I want this girl to learn right here and no one will disobey me! She will get the respect all you fellows!'' I snapped , I don't want any distractions and of course wouldn't want to beat round the bush.

Parikshit seemed to be taken aback , he looked at me unable to believe what I said , He looked down unable to say anything back , I know he won't disobey me.

''And no one will dare to disobey me , if you do , the one will get severe punishment! You have been warned!'' I threatened pointing at everyone.

I looked down to see her shivering beside me, she looked at me terrified , shaking her head in a no , I placed my hand on her shoulder and nodded , I bend down and whispered softly

''You can do this , All the best!'' I tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear , she shuddered.

She shivered and moved away from me a bit , I smiled as she tottered towards the class , the whole class gawking at her as if she was something strange.

I winked at her and gave her a toothy grin , waving a bit at him I turned , she gave me a tight lipped smiled , I smiled like a fool as I kicked at the pebbles that lay on the stone path.

Well this was my first step towards change , way to go Anirudh!

I bit the edge of my pen as I looked out at the dark sky twinkling with stars , My messy locks danced to the wind that slapped my face through the open window.

I couldn't concentrate on my studies anymore , my mind was wandering somewhere , and I knew what it was and who it was .. it was her , such a brat , now she is my mind all day.

I pushed the chair backwards and sighed and climbed on the bed , My fingers drawing designs on the silk sheets , a smile touched my face as I closed my eyes and her face popped on my face.

''Hey'' I heard a whisper , I was shocked , I looked at the window and saw a girl , My eyes widened as she fell inside with a thud.

''Bondita?'' I asked shocked , clearly not expecting her here , what the hell! How did she come inside? Through the window! Brilliant!

''Umm I wanted to thank you for helping me in .. in studying'' she whispered , her fingers fiddling with her dress.

 I looked at her face , her hair was in a loose braid , a few strands and tendrils falling on her face delicately , she wore a pink coloured saree , it fit her small frame perfectly , glass bangles was delicately chiming in her hands , she looked at me through her lashes.

''Oh its actually my pleasure , well I will leave India in like 10 days so , I want to spend my time with you'' I said suddenly remembering that I have so much little time here , I have to tell her.

''Where are you going?'' she asked shocked , My heart broke seeing the pain in her voice , she just proved that she did not want me to go.

''London , for my studies , and you will study here and one day I will come back and I will take you with me to London for your studies , and umm , I have decided something , you will become a barrister just like me , I want you to be the light of my rebellion , I want you to be the flame of revolution , I want you to be the light of the women kind , will you do that for me?'' I asked , looking deeply into her eyes.

She looked me confused and awestruck ''But please don't , I mean .. I'' she stuttered tears filling her eyes , I cupped her face slowly , she had so much trust me and it has been just 2 days.

''Please don't cry  , I promise to come back , Please trust me Bondita'' I whispered wiping the tears from her eyes , she took this risk to come to me? How brave of her?

''C-Can we spend some time together? Because you are the only one who showed me kindness so I want to remember this forever Mr. Zamindar'' she whispered hesitantly wrapping her hands round my torso , I smiled slightly and hugged her back.

I soothed her hairs softly , feeling the softness of her locks in between my hands , her breath was normal and rhythmical and it felt like the harps of angel for me.

''Umm can you teach me what they taught me today?'' she asked opening the bag she brought , it revealed the books I gave her , I smiled and nodded.

Patting the seat beside me , I opened her book , it was English , interesting!

''So do you how to pronounce this?'' I asked , and she shook her head in a negative.

And that was how half an hour of the night passed , I was quick to steal glances to drink her pure beauty , how can someone be so adorable.

We even played some games together and talked about our families , she sat opposite to me , only the moon lighting our face , i got to know that she loved roshugollas and she loved her mom the most , she wanted to soar high in skies and touch what she can't see 

We jumped up in surprise when we heard a knock on the door , Bondita went pale and started shivering , I placed my finger on her lips and hid her behind the bathroom door.

I opened the door to reveal Soudamini , the girl I thought I once loved and was betrothed to her , I rolled my eyes as she hugged me tight , a giggle escaping her lips.

''You will be gone within a few days so you don't wanna be with me? Come on .. Say something'' she pouted sweetly , I gulped , what if she finds bondita inside? I am dead!

''Maybe tomorrow Mini , I have studies to do , am so sorry .. Bye'' I kissed her cheeks and pushed her out , closing the door on her face. I sighed in relief

''You are going to marry her right?'' I heard Bondita's sweet voice , I snapped my head towards her quizzically.

''Oh well , congratulations friend , anyway I am going to end up with Tapas so what problem?'' she said as if she was telling that to herself , why was she mad so suddenly?

''What are you saying? You are going to learn and change the world!'' I shook her shoulders vigorously , she looked at me , her eyes glossy.

''Who will stop that? My marriage is after you go away , you can't stop my society , never!'' she whispered slapping my hands from her , slashed her hair on my face , she walked and jumped down the window.

I gasped and looked outside ,  Our eyes locked for the last time before I saw her vanish into the woods , I let out a cry and pulled my hair.

''What made her angry now? What have I done?'' I asked myself , how did everything change within the snap of fingers? I threw my pen across the room and went to sleep with a heavy heart.
