SUMMARY;

WHEN
Tony Stark travels to New Orleans for a charity event to make a name for himself after the Avengers battle, he finds himself stripped of all his worth and money. He's cursed, and on a time limit. With no idea who is doing this to him, Tony Stark must recruit the help of a girl who looks the part of a rich businesswoman. He wants her help to clear his name, and he promises her money that he doesn't have to open her restaurant in exchange for her assistance.

It's no surprise that she agrees, but now the challenge is that these two people are both lying to each other about who they are or what they have. But breaking the curse is a lot easier than they think.

It just involves a little cheesy romance.

PLOT;

AFTER
the Avengers had become was criminals and Spider-Man had become a household American dinner conversation, Tony Stark had met his fate. He had worked countless hours to bring positivity to his name and Rhodes, but there was always a negative connotation when people heard the once common name: Tony Stark.

People despised the idea of the man, him being able to walk around Manhattan like the big shot he is while Happy Hogan simply carried his bags. His reputation would forever be ruined. And while he thought that perhaps he could live with just that, disaster strikes yet again.

On a spring afternoon, Tony is personally escorted from his hotel suite in New Orleans onto the cracked concrete sidewalks with only the suit on his back. He's told that his card had bounced and that while he was once wealthy, all his money had been confiscated by some large corporation that invested into his bank.

Now, Tony Stark had never not been rich. He always had more money than he could even imagine, and that would always be the case. But somehow, he finds himself stranded on a sidewalk while his bags are stuck inside his hotel room. The only clue he has as to what happened is a small piece of paper in his coat pocket with the short phrase: True love always seems to fix the problem, doesn't it?

He hears of a charity ball in the city that was practically screaming his name, and with no other choice, he attends. He still looks his snazzy best and decided to play desperate, just for one night.

With dozens of wealthy people sipping champagne, Tony makes a decision. He was going to find someone with great wealth to get his money back.

Tony had seen all the cheesy romance movies, the ones where true love kiss seems to solve all the problems. And though he wasn't one to believe in a fantasy, he didn't have much of a choice. So he finds the fanciest looking woman in the gala and begs for her help.

With the promise that when he gets his money back he will do anything the girl needs, she agrees. She wants nothing more than to open her own restaurant, and with Tony Stark's guaranteed money, why not?

They kiss, and wait.

But when she is left stripped of all her savings, both adults are stuck in the same river gondola, and have no choice but to figure out where there money has gone together.
