THE PARKER FAMILY WAS COMPLETELY INCOMPLETE. With freshman year behind the twins: Peter and Brantley, Brantley holds on to her brother even tighter, and they realize that all they have is all they need. They're each other's lifelines. But when Ben passed, Brantley broke into hundreds of pieces, and not even Peter could repair her. Her studies tumbled, her mind drove elsewhere, and she didn't know what to do. Uncle Ben was her father figure, he was the rock that held her family together. He made their life that certainly wasn't normal feel normal. 

Peter did everything he could to help her, he tried to be the over-protective brother again, but she pushed him away. And then he started keeping secrets. He snuck out of the house - library. He was late to school - train. He didn't come home until late at night - studying. He seemed to have an excuse for everything. Except, being there for his sister, the light of his life. 

As Peter began to disappear, Brantley began to grow curious. She wanted to know where he went, when, why, what, how. She wanted the truth. It hadn't even been a year since Ben was murdered and Peter was becoming a ghost when she needed him the most.

Perhaps that's why she didn't raise her hand. She keeps her mouth shut. She does what she's told and nothing more. SHe doesn't make arguments she can't win, and she never thinks twice about the safe choice. 

Peter starts to understand her new normal and her regular habits. He picks up on the small things to know when something is large. She doesn't realize he's watching, but he is. He made a vow to protect his sister from harm the moment Ben was killed at his hand. 

Brantley Parker doesn't want help.

She wants to be alone.

She wants to have her one friend to talk to and her brother to comfort her. She doesn't want a crusade providing protection, and she most definitely does not want a ruthless, web-slinging vigilante lurking over-head to make sure she gets home safe at night. 

But Peter has something completely different in mind. As long as his sister is safe and out of the shadows, he will continue to be that web-slinging vigilante that helps catch petty thieves. 

But as night comes, even the brightest of lights have to be put out. Then the shadows come creeping in.

brantley is still wary of leaving the house because she thinks what happened to ben will happen to her or anyone else so you need to clarify that she is extremely cautious. her only friend is nari and they sit with peter and ned, and obviously the queen michelle. uh, and they're on the decathlon team.

don't make her find out peter is spider-man in like chapter eight. she should be really curious where peter runs off to but shouldn't actually find out until like chapter fifteen. i actually kind of pictured her walking into her room ( that her and peter share ) and finding peter about to change out of his costume. and like i kind of see him beij an idiot and webbing her to the door ane she has a panic attack and shies away from peter when he tries to unweb her and she tells him to get out and he does and she has to wait for the webbing to dissolve and she will sleep over at nani's and on the couch and do everythin to avoid peter. she'll be all pissed and crap for a while because ben was murdered ( in case you don't know ) and she'll be mad that peter is putting himself in harms way because she doesn't want to lose anyone else. 

that's pretty much it, i think. oh, this is not a fluffy, oh look pretty pink unicorns, kind of plot. so, take your pretty pink unicorns elsewhere please and thanks.
