Breaking News*

DESCRIPTION;
❛Her disappearance was in the headlines, but they had her story all wrong❜
PLOT;
Conner Myrick had a very detailed journal.
It was one filled with secrets, incredibly descriptive memories about her good, bad, sad, and worse days, and conversations. One filled with thoughts and questions.
One filled with clues.
Conner went missing on October 20, 2017. She had recently found out about her best friend - Peter Parker - being Spider-Man and he had heroically stopped the villain known as the Vulture. It was a good day, one with laughter and smiles. And then her picture was on the television with a Breaking News headline.
Six months later Peter found her journal on her desk. He read everything, cover to cover. He soaked in the amazing memories filled in the book, realized his love for his best friend, and cried that she was presumed dead and wouldn't be returning home to him.
He cared after her family, made sure they were always okay. But he in fact was not.
The journal held clues and secrets, ones that could have gotten her killed long ago. But these clues were hidden, not even Conner knew they were clues when she wrote them down. To her they were just part of her memories, but to Peter, they were pieces of the puzzle that would lead him to find out who took Conner and why.
He just hopes he has enough time to save her.
SUMMARY;
Conner Myrick was a poster child for kindness. She spread positivity and love everywhere she went and made sure no one missed out on the joy she radiated.
Conner filled her life story in a series of leatherbound books that she wrote in each and every day. She had so many that she literally had a series of six, all with different years and memories from her life. Some were happy, sad, angry, desperate.
When Conner goes missing one day, it's up to those books to save her, but first someone has to read them.
STARRING -
Olivia Holt as Conner Myrick
❛There's such a thing as knowing too much, Peter. I know everything, and that made me a target❜
PLEASE UNDERSTAND;
Conner is the picture perfect girl. She is nice to everyone and everyone loves her, but she knows everyone's secrets. She is super intelligent and is able to figure everything out and remembers everything so she is able to find out everything about people and remember it. Someone wants to know how she is so smart and how she knows everyone's secrets so they kidnap her.
She's missing for 6 months and they do experiments on her because they think she's inhuman but she's not. They end up giving her powers accidentally and can read people's minds but it's so overpowering and she can't control it so she thinks she's going crazy.
Peter finds her journals 6 months later on her bookshelf (her parents didn't dare to go in her room while she was missing because it hurt too much [you could make her have a sibling but i either see her being an only child or her having a brother in a grade higher than her]). He basically reads her journals and finds out all these secrets about people (parents are having affairs, kids are doing or dealing drugs, etc.) and is confused how she knew all that. He finds clues in the journal that hint at who kidnapped Conner and where and he is determined to figure it out to bring them to justice. You decide what the clues are, could be names, places, anagrams, IDK. But make it so Conner didn't even know that she wrote clues and Peter has to realize like: 'She didn't know someone was after her and she wrote it all out.'
Conner is too smart for her own good. She never saw it coming.
The whole first act/part should be her journal entries and memories with the clues in them so the reader can maybe try to figure it out and then Peter's memories with Conner (building their relationship) and Peter should realize he has feelings for Conner as he is reading the journal. It should also be him trying to put everything together and getting Ned to help him out or something.
The second act/part should be Conner's return. Peter finds her and she is scared but alive. He returns her home and she has to try to readjust to life while being able to read everyone's minds. Peter has to help her understand and control her powers but when it becomes overwhelming with police question and at school she gets these migraines and breaks down because it hurts so much and Peter has to be like: "Woosh, let's go!"
I don't know. I thought of this randomly in like two minutes but I love it so much.
Do not change the actress or the name, under no circumstance.
