TITLE;
The Lost Smile *

STATUS;
Available

DESCRIPTION;
"You wouldn't be the first person to go"

"But I'd rather be the first one to stay"

SUMMARY;
Olivia Adolt used to be the smiley blonde that decorated the underside of her hair a different color each year of middle school. She was the innocent girl that sat in the back of the class with her friends and just rolled her eyes at the perverted comments her computer partner would throw her way. She was the girl with a mean spike on the volleyball court. Overall, she was the girl who never thought her life would crumble.

Until the day it did.

It was small things. Like the drinking problem her dad harbored. Or the whacks he would throw to her head if she didn't wash a dish quickly enough. Or the routine rounds of police officers at her door on Friday nights.

But then it grew.

And suddenly, Olivia Adolt had to watch from a car window as she drove away from everyone she ever loved. Her life was pretty much over, and she was ready to call it a lifetime and end it all.

But there's hope that someone will be able to swoop in before Olivia is lost forever.

PLOT;
Her life could literally not get any worse. Olivia was always happy, a smile planted on her face, her laugh echoing in every room she had ever been in, but then she actually watched her life fall apart at her very own feet.

First, her father began to drink more after getting demoted at his job. His alcohol problem erupted into a typical Friday night where the police were at the house because her father was so drunk that he hit his oldest daughter very hard for not cleaning the dishes fast enough.

And then, he did everything in his power to frame his wife and put her in prison for several nights. He claimed she abused her four kids and the bitter couple became bunkmates in the local Connecticut prison.

So Olivia moved in with her three siblings into their grandmother's house on their dad's side. It was a tight living space, but Olivia made do because she had her sixth grade sister, fourth grade brother, and her very special kindergarten sis. She didn't have parents but she had love. And to top it all off, she still had her best friend of her entire life in high school where they started off ninth grade with a bang.

Until Child Services came in and crushed the little light Olivia had left in her life. They deemed the living space unacceptable and sent Olivia away at the end of her ninth grade year. She was forced to live with her other grandparents in a completely different state and start at a new high school.

Screw the school, Olivia would say. She needs her siblings who were hundreds of miles away. She needed her mom who after getting released from prison after the police cleared her had lost all parental rights of her children.

Olivia had nothing to smile for.

She was starting at a new school in a new land with new people and no family. Her best friend was back home with everyone she loved. And no amount of FaceTime with her brother and sisters and mom and friend would make her okay.

So she accepts her fate of eternal misery and decided to shut down in fear that she will get attached to someone only to have them leave her.

It's not a problem. No talking in class. Keeping her head in her studies for hours every day. Checking her phone every minute to await a text from her friend. Crying herself to sleep as she held her little teddy bear her siblings had bought her for her thirteenth birthday.

Her life sucked.

But maybe, just maybe, a boy who sits behind her in nearly every class can help cheer her up. Especially when he sees her pretty eyes with no shine.

All he has to do is make her feel wanted.

And what better way to do that then give her a soft smile as he stands at his locker that bordered her own. Though she doesn't smile back and just gives a small nod, everyone knows that a smile goes a long way.

But maybe it doesn't go as long as everyone thought. All it takes is a high up ledge in the city skyline. And Peter Parker has to stop her before she decides to never look back.

STARRING;

Elle Fanning as Olivia Adolt

" My textbooks have a much better life then I do, so I spend so much time reading them because I'm jealous they have a purpose "

PLEASE UNDERSTAND;
This plot is actually really close to me because this is my friend's life. This exact plot happened to her and she didn't move to a different state but she moved to a far away city. I never see her any more and it's so sad.

But I would like you to know: the first grandparents she lives with are from her dad's side but they are very upset with their son and will do anything for Olivia's mother and the kids. But their living space isn't right for four kids because Olivia shared a bed with her sister so child services moved Olivia to her other grandparents who are all the way in New York.

She had to leave her best friend and all her family so she's low-key kind of depressed ( not really lowkey ). She gets to this new state with her mom's parents and they love her so much and she loves them, too, but still doesn't smile. She lost her smile when she lost her family.

Her mom was only in jail a few days but lost her rights so all she can do is visit and call Olivia but she can't afford to visit so she just calls.

Olivia doesn't see her siblings but like once a month when they visit sooooo... Their ages should be: Cora is 12. Owen is 9. And Clara is 5. And Cora should be a little depressed, too, because the entire family is split apart.

This is real mature and basically the entire story needs a trigger warning. Olivia wants to end it all because she has nothing left. She talks to her best friend on video chat every night but her friend should be worried because she can see Olivia not smiling and being depressed. So maybe it would be cute if somehow her friend teamed up with Olivia'sgrandparents to take her phone and get Peter's number ( after he starts to like her or whatever ) and she can call him and tell him olivia's situation and that he needs to watch her. Idk, you don't have to. I don't have a lot of ideas for this.

But like I said, this is a mature story. Olivia wants to kill herself and you can add in her contemplating it or whatever and have Peter catch her about to do it and stops her. She jumps off the side of her building but Peter swings by and catches her and tries to help her. And that's where he should reveal himself after getting her to safety.

I'm going to be lenient with this.

Don't make her friends with Michelle. She doesn't make friends. She doesn't want friends. She has one friend all the way in Connecticut. That is it. No Michelle.

When you write this, start it from her dad's drinking problem and introduce whyhe started drinking. Don't start it with her moving to New York. No, no, no, no!

Do not change the summary. The summary is what you use for your introduction/summary. The plot basically is everything that should be in the book, including whatever I put down here in the Please Understand.

You can change the title.

The description is a set of quotes between Olivia and Peter that needs to be used somewhere in the book.

I don't think this needs to be said, but this is a fucking slow burn. If you can't see that, don't ask for the plot.

Do not change the: summary, face claim, or character name( s ). That includes her siblings. You can pick the siblings face claims but make sure they look like her please.

You can also choose the best friend's faceclaim and name. As well as the grandparents and parents.

I think this is it.
