IF SOMEONE HAD ASKED BARRY ALLEN WHAT LOVE WAS WHEN HE WAS IN NINTH GRADE, HE MIGHT HAVE SAID CHARLESTON GRAY. Charleston Gray was the perfect person, and everyone described her as so. She made friends with the people you wouldn't dare to nudge in the high school hallways, and she made friends with the people you wished you nudged in the hallways. She was a Gray. And the Gray family was fortunate to have what they did, especially with their strong association with STAR Labs. 

But associations are a two-way street, and Harrison Wells had cut his association with Paxton Gray when Charleston reached the tenth grade. Her father was found dead two weeks after he was fired due to an overdose of prescription medicine for Charlie's mother. He stopped the pain before it became too much, so Rebecca Gray moved her precious daughter across the country to Florida where Charlie became a robotics engineer. Once her mother died of old age, Charleston wanted to find her roots and travel back to Central City to find her best friends: Iris West and Barry Allen. 

As excited as Barry was for the particle accelerator, she makes the trek just in time for the premiere when she is struck down and swarmed with a strange energy at the same time as sitting in a theater to watch the unveiling live. Her life is thrown into chaos when she struggles to understand what the hell happened to her, and where her friends are. But it isn't until she wakes up two months later in the hospital with no idea of what happened. 

She knows who she is and why she was in Central City, her memories weren't the problem. The problem was struggling to understand her new powers before the darkness can consume her. And nine months later she comes face to face with a light or dark side decision, and it's up to someone else who doesn't even know she's in the city to savd her before it's too late.

don't change the name, because for some reason, i really love boys names on girls and it's my plot so damn right, i can keep this plot if you want to argue with me on this. 

okay, so this plot is shit. the summary can't explain all that i want to so listen up kiddies !!

alright, so basically, charlie moved to florida after her dad killed himself and her mother died before she graduated college, so she's been on her own for a while. her best friends were barry and iris but she lost touch when she moved because she was very depressed. when she gets a jump into her robotics engineer career, she decides to move back to central city and finds herself in a sticky situation, or also known as, she becomes a metahuman. her powers become darkness because of the darkness she hides inside herself, and the whole conflict within the book is her trying not to succumb to the darkness ( like caitlin ). barry basically gets an alert one day saying there is some metahuman activity down byt the river or something, i don't even know, and he goes there only to find charlie afraid of her own powers, and like a good friend ( and ex- crush person ) he decides to help her out. bam!

make this a slow burn because in case you don't know, barry LOVES IRIS! iris is still there, and yes, barry loves her. so, uh, make him, like, gradually start falling for charlie as he starts helping her. 

and obviously, from the description, she helps him, too. and obviosuly, cisco ( my absolute favorite ). okay, this is trash, and i feel like y'all hate me for the notes above, but it moves along the plot and i felt as if it was really needed. 

[ this is like, halfway through season one. or whenever barry is understanding his powers and is two months out of his coma ]
