Ethelia's pov

Another week's flown by and I'm not even dead yet. I'm also still not in shape, I haven't somehow become shockingly attractive and I still really don't have friends. Save for Obito, who I'm currently trying to shake. He's not budging, no matter how much I insult him, and his dick. He just laughs and counters with undeniably good sarcasm. It's getting really irritating. 

"Oh joy, more D-rank missions. What will we have the pleasure of doing today? Cleaning out another river? Babysitting some more little bastards?" I yawned. It's far too early for this. Obito isn't actually here yet. So even though it's Monday, it may just be the best Monday I've ever had. Save for the fact that Mark took all the fucking food again so, hah, no food for me. I used the time I would have spent making my breakfast plotting his murder. I already have three spots I'm going to use to hide his chopped up body parts-

"Tch, don't complain. You're lucky you get to go on any missions at all." Kakashi snapped, earning a sharp look from Rin and raised eyebrows from Minato. 

"Huh, whoa, do you hear that?" I put a hand up to my ear. "Oh, hey! It's the sound of all the fucks I don't give." 

"Now, now. Calm down, you two. There's no need to fight." Minato gave a smile that was way too calm. I stared at him with a dry expression. We're depressed teenagers; what did he expect?

"Yeah! Let's all get along. Ethelia is trying her best. This is all new for her, you know." Rin lectured. Ethelia nodded, even though she low-key didn't really like Rin that much anymore. She'd been so rude concerning Obito, it was nasty. Even she wasn't that rude. Well, she sort of was, but not in that way.

"Sorry I'm late!" I heard Obito's annoying voice call. We all turned around. "Ethelia, I got you food!"

"Obito, have I ever told you how much I absolutely adore and love you?" Free food is good food. He literally brought me food. I haven't eaten today. I should marry him. Oh my God, I've found the one. He brought me sausage. I can smell it. This is the best day of my life.

Obito's cheeks went pink as he presented me with my ruler. Food. "That was a drastic personality change." Rin blinked, and Minato let out a laugh. Kakashi just rolled his eyes. Whatever. He can fuck off. This is food. And Obito gave me the food. He shouldn't be too happy about my sudden likeness towards him, though. I'll hate him just as much as I did before. 

"Cheap." Kakashi muttered. 

"W-Wow, really?!" Obito brightened as I pulled my sausage biscuit out. It had egg and cheese too. Thank the lord. Mark may have stolen all the food in the house, but at least Obito has my six. 

"Yes." I said, shoving the food into my mouth.

"Guys, Ethelia likes me!" Obito threw his hands in the air in triumph. "Finally!"

"Yeah, ask her that after she's done." Kakashi scoffed. "Then see what she says."

"Whatever. I don't care. She considers me a friend deep down." Obito's cheeks puffed out. He sort of looks like a puppy. Cute. You know what's even cuter? The fact that he brought me food. Major turn on. Thank you. Boyfriend material. Rin's missing out. 

"She'll go back to being sarcastic after she's done. And rude. And uncaring." Kakashi listed off. I nodded. He right, he right. Right now I see Obito in a different light. Food light. Diminished hunger light. But soon, and by that I mean around half an hour after I've eaten and I'm starving again, I will go back to wishing Obito would just leave.

"Boys, Ethelia, let's not fight. Obito, thank you for bringing Ethelia food. Today we have one easy D-rank, and then we're done! I know Mondays are a pain." Why is he looking at me? Rude.
