Glimpse of the future

'What do you want from me! Why are you doing this?' I spat out to the beast in front of me. Pain was embracing me with a weak heart beat and the foul copper salt taste of blood on my mouth.

Smack!

Once again, he grabbed me by the hair on this closed yellow room, grinning like the devil himself. 'Do you give up? You'll soon have to say yes Narinae. Tsk Tsk. What do you say?' I spit a mouthful of blood to his pale face and his cold unfamiliar blue orbs welled with venom.

Thump! My head hits the wall from the impact of his punch on my face. Dizziness flowed about in my system but I refused to give up.

'I can't wait to kill you with my own hands. I can't wait to vouch his reaction when he feels all helpless, killed by me and he won't be able to do a damn thing about it. He won't save you sweetheart. Soul mates my arse hole!' The demon in front of me cackled with laughter while I was stone shocked.

He's here. I'm going to die in a few more minutes and now that I've finally get a chance, I'll be gone...

Anger ran through my veins warming my whole cold system, adrenaline kicked in and a tingling sensation flew inside of me. My drooping eyes came with life and although my hands were tied my feet were free. The energy that was sweeping me was so over-whelming and strong I closed my eyes briefly still sitting down at the hard cold floor.

The cackling laughter died immediately with for the first time leaning to terror. My whole body felt on fire and the same thought sweapt over me.

He's here

Power radiated in vibrations before me and before I knew it, my tied hands were loose and my left hand was pulled back, ready to lung at him at full force. He tried blocking with his hands covering his face, still having the horrid eyed-look but I striked him anyway. He tried to make a move on me yet, I was too quick for him and dodged, jumping to the side skillfully. When he tried lunging at me again, this time I caught in mid-air his calloused fist and pushed him to the wall hard. So hard he fell unconscious in a heap and a loud THUD.

Blood was gushing out his skull and nose, then his body suddenly was turned to black dust, making him dissapear as if he never was there. My eyes bug out and bluntly, a strong hand grasped my arm, pulling me away from that view and once my eyes were met by his orbs my breath hitched and my heart for a second stopped. I was gasping for air and my heart now sped in an inhuman speed.

Present

'I cannot believe it!' Linzie shrieked jumping on my bed. 'Luke Armstrong. Luke Armstrong! The guy we had the hots for and fan-girled about before. Unbelievable.' Linzie was now frantic expanding and spreading her erratic nerves to Hunter.

Linzie looked to Hunter worried. 'Hunter, what are we going to do? We have this psychotic weirdo on the loose!'

Hunter looked pissed, and I wasn't at all expected in his behaviour. It was rarely he ever got mad so to see him like this tugged at my heart. I walked over from the door frame to my bed where Hunter and Linzie was and embraced him. Linzie smiled goofily when his look of I'm going to kill vanished to protective mode.

I sat down on my bed in between of Linzie and Hunter. The house was quiet given that no one was home. Tony was working hard as usual for he's the Manager of a company called Tretty, Taylor and Liam were also working there, Alyssa was in school, she's only a nineth grader and Mark was also working in the same business as Tony, Liam and Taylor.

You see, all of us were close of age. Tony was 20, I was 17 going to 18 in one month which is May 24th, Hunter was 17, Mark was also 17, Taylor was 16, Liam was 15 and Alyssa was 14. Dad and mom sure had fun, Hehe... I thought slyly.

'Everyone's thinking the same thing Nari. We'll fight, and destroy this bastard. Who the heck does he think he is? No one messes with my little sister.' I arched an eyebrow.

'Little?' His eyes were staring off at a distance, not hearing my teasing words. Linzie now took charge and stood up placing her petite frame next to Hunters stocky build, hugging him, making his forehead etched with anger dissipate.

Suddenly his eyes popped open and so did Linzies. 'Mate!' They both exclamed.

A hot kissing match was presented in front of me which following a few more minutes later, I cleared my throat uncomfortable, letting my existence be known.

When they parted, their flushed faces looked at eachothers eyes with this longing already. Then, kissed her forehead making her already flushed face crimson.

'O-kay, my brother and my best friend. That'll get some getting used to.' I giggled only making Hunter flush even more. Aww, my two tomatoes!

Aren't they adorable? Alex said cheerily, almost gushing

I giggled earning me a confused look from both Linzie and Hunter.

'You talking with your wolf Alexa?' I nodded with guilt flowing through me. I felt so bad for lying to them, but what's done is done.

'Where the heck is that imbecile arsehole at? Wait till I get my hands on him, I'll kill him right now.' Tonys' voice was boisterous and loud and once he came to view, his murderous look and flaring nostrils were visible.

Mark, Liam, Taylor and Alyssa followed in line looking like a pack of wild animals.

'Luke Armstrong is actually in my school...' I said barely audible to hear; a whisper. I shuddered, understanding the meaning behind the words.

Alex, I'm going to die.

Stop it Nari, you won't. I can't wait till we kill this dumbutt.

Me too Alex. But it's hopeless, I feel so scared.

Don't be. I'll soon be there for you. Soon, I'll be there in front of you, holding you in my arms, telling you everything will be alright.

You always say that Alex, but that's an impossibility. You're the best, best friend I could ever ask for apart from God, and my family... But it's impossible.

Tears streamed down my face cropped with my throat getting clogged. I ran towards my bathroom ignoring all the constant yells and thunderous knocks.

I slipped down with my back against the door, thanking the Lord the door was locked. I grasped my head in my hands while my knees were almost hugging me. Life was slipping away from me, it's leaving my hold.

Alex communicated. I tuned him off and felt my head spin round and round, having a sick feeling in my stomach. Tiny black specs were floating in my eyes and after my head being all heavy, I drifted off...
