Chapter 2: "Déjà Vu"
-•*A/N*•- I have some awesome ideas for this so, I hope I can keep my composure and not let everything slip in one chapter! Anyway, here's the second chapter!
Disclaimer: Sadly, I'm not the owner of the beloved Pokemon, I am only a fangirl, who enjoys writing and reading fanfiction about the show!

May couldn't get the dreams out of her head as she sat in the passenger seat of her mom's black Mazda. She also thought of the boy, Drew. Something about him was, different. She couldn't place her finger on it. She hummed along to the song on the radio; The Walker, by Fitz and the Tantrums. Not long after, the car stopped and May got out to go to school. Her Glaceon was out, walking beside her. She quickly returned him, not wanting to get in trouble. Just as she looked up after successfully returning Glaceon, she accidentally ran into a girl with pinkish brown hair.
"Watch where you are going you brat!" The girl snapped at May.
"I'm so sorry, my bad, I didn't see you," May sincerely apologized.
"Whatever, My girls and I can't waste our precious time on you, Loser," She said coldly. May then noticed she had two other girls with her. One with shoulder length honey hair, who was picking at her nails, and the other, a blunette, looking at May with worried eyes. May quickly retreated, realizing that they were the school Barbies. She sighed before two arms wrapped themselves around her.
"Good morning Leaf," May chuckled. The grip on her was released.
"Darn it! I was hoping to scare you," Leaf pouted cutely. May started to walk along side Leaf.
"I saw you talking with Brianna Wakana, you ok?" Leaf asked. May recognized the last name Wakana, were had she heard it from? Her foot gave a quick numb shock of pain. It must have been from the story then.
"May are you even listening?! Hey! Watch out!" Leaf called, snapping May out of her trance. Suddenly, May's foot began to ache again.
"Huh?" She asked. It was too late. She bumped into someone's chest, creating that strange shock sensation through her whole body again. May stumbled backwards.
"I'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msorryI'msorry!" May exclaimed.
"Geez, would you watch where you're going!" It was the same voice from yesterday! May looked up. Those same chartreuse locks, and those piercing emerald green eyes. Just like the previous day, he was rubbing his neck.
"I'm sorry Drew, I was lost in thought!" May explained.
"You're in my homeroom, June's your name, right?" Drew said smugly.
"Not quite, it's actually May," she sweatdropped.
"Whatever February, anyway, I won't stand for you to keep running into me like that, it's kind of annoying," He said seriously.
"Actually, It's May, and I'm not trying to!" She retorted.
"Yeah Yeah, The next time you fall, I'll just let you have a nice talk with the floor. See you April," He said. They both froze up at the name, It was awkwardly silent, neither Drew or May moving, just kind of staring at each other. Leaf stood aside looking rather confused at the situation. Suddenly the bell rang, knocking them out of their trances. May's face heated up before running after Leaf.
"See ya," May muttered under her breath. Little did she know, at the same time, Drew had said the exact same thing. May looked at Leaf and saw her friend had a scowl painted on her face.
"What was that all about!? I told you! Don't get involved with Drew! He'll only break your heart!" Leaf warned her.
"I don't even know myself! I just get this really weird feeling when I'm around him," May explain, her voice started to decrescendo towards the end. Leaf stopped. She grabbed May by the collar.
"WHAT!?" She raged.
"No! That's not what I meant!" May exclaimed, scared.
"Oh," Leaf said awkwardly, putting May down.
"It's so weird! I feel like a huge sense of déjà vu, like I know him from somewhere, a long time ago! Though I have a feeling, that he may be connected to the story, but I'll have to test my theory," May said.
"Story? What story? And what theory?" Leaf asked, confused. May cupped her hands over her mouth.
"Nothing!" She exclaimed, her voice muffled. Leaf just shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"Come on we are going to be late!" May exclaimed, grabbing Leaf's hand and running down the hall.

Once Drew walked away from her, he held his head in his hands. What was wrong with him? This girl had something to do with his dreams. When he called her April, he knew. His neck throbbed in response to the name. He needed to find out more about those dreams. He headed into homeroom, and a minute or so later, when May and her friend Leaf ran in, his neck responded in sync, confirming his suspicions.
"Everyone listen up! The school has booked the neighboring pool for a back to school party, now don't act like a bunch of idiots! The party is Friday night 5:30-9. Pizza will be served there," Miss Kaitlyn, the homeroom teacher said. Everyone started talking in excitement.
"Now, I know you all are going to be mad at me, but I've made seating arrangements, they are year permanent," She said, interrupted by collective sighs. Her tone was slightly agitated afterwards as she called out names. Several names passed before,
"Drew, May, this desk right here," He grabbed his things and sat down next to May, who was already there, and felt his neck start to hurt. This would be an interesting year. A bunch of girls were scowling at May. Drew couldn't help but chuckle to himself.
"What's so funny, milkweed," She asked. He smirked.
"Wouldn't you like to know, April," The name accidentally slipped out causing a familiar awkwardness to arise, and his neck bothering him more for a split moment.
"I'd appreciate it if you called me by my actual name," May said sourly.
"If I recall, you were the one who called me milkweed first, so if my calculations are correct, (which you know they are) then I believe you brought this on yourself by starting it," He said, matter-o-factly.
"You turd!" She whisper yelled at him. He flicked his hair in response. She huffed and crossed her arms, facing away from him.

Leaf and May were walking towards the door when May's cursed right foot began to ache. Drew was near. Then she rolled her ankle, yelped, then fell on top of Drew. Just like the other three times today, they both felt those weird sparks. May quickly scrambled off of him, totally embarrassed, showering him with a sea of apologies.
"Ugg! Quit falling on me all the time! Stupid airhead!" Drew spat.
"It's not my fault every time you come near me it makes my foot throb in pain!" May raged. The look on his scowling face changed, it's softened for a moment before turning hardened again.
"What?" He asked, his rude tone dropped. May's eyes widened. just like in her dream last night.
"You know what, forget I ever said anything, come on Leaf, let's go," She said, dragging Leaf with her. Drew stood in shock, left behind.
He had to do research on what was going on. It was so strange and confusing.

"Sir! April's incarnation has been located!" A grunt dressed in black ran up to his leader.
"Where is she?" The leader's voice was deep and monotoned.
"Lilycove, the Hoenn Region," The frunt responded.
"Her state?"
"She's awakening Sir,"
"Send my son, he must apprehend her, before it's too late,"
"On it, but it will take him a while to get there, plus the fact we don't know where at in Lilycove," The grunt warned.
"We can't wait any longer!"
"Understood Sir,"

Anyway, I want to start writing the third chapter so peace!
Keep Reading, Keep Smiling!
