Electroshocker

"Man, it's cold up here! Do you even know what we're supposed to be getting?"
Electroshocker shrugged his shoulders as they continued walking up to a possible campsite spot. They had left Freezer, Hunter, Militant, and Gladiator at the last base they had set up, and set up the mountain to attempt to find a good spot for another base, as Freezer had told them to.

Scout was wearing incredibly heavy winter gear, although Electroshocker only wore the bare essentials, most likely due to his stubborness. Despite that, both of them were shivering.

"I still don't know why you didn't want to wear the gear. Freezer told you how cold it gets up here."

"I believe I can make it."

"Suit youself.."

A combination of wind and snow whipped across their faces as they progressed up the mountain.

They had been walking for about twenty-three minutes when Electroshocker stopped shivering. Scout didn't notice as they continued the trek. On multiple occasions, Scout attempted to start a conversation, but it didn't seem like Electroshocker noticed.

Scout spun around as he heard a 'thump' in the snow. Electroshocker had fallen into the snow, and he was attempting to push himself up as Scout arrived by his side and hoisted him up.

"You alright?"

"Y- yeah.. I- I'm really c- cold.."

Scout put an arm around Electroshocker's oxygen tank and they continued together.

As they found a small sheltered area, one suitable for a rest, Scout let Electroshocker go to sit down whilst he tried to make a fire.
When the fire was lit, Scout sat down and clipped the oxygen tank off his back, and carried it over to Electroshocker.

"So, wasn't that the most exhilarating forty-five minute walk of your life, br-"

As Scout turned his head toward Electroshocker, he saw that he had gone into a position where he had most likely dozed off. Looking at him, Scout saw his chest slowly rising and falling. 

About ten minutes later, Scout stood up and saw that Electroshocker still hadn't gotten up.

"Y'alright? We gotta go now, man."

Electroshocker didn't even move his head. Scout, rushing over to him, quickly put a finger to his neck.

His blood turned to ice when he felt nothing.

Doing the first thing he could think of, pushing him closer to the fire, although he quickly stopped, as panic set in. 

"No, no, no, no.."

"not you too.. not you too.. first mom, then sis, then.."

Electroshocker died in his brother's arms.

One Week Later

"He still hasn't recovered. He blames himself, which can lead to a whole bunch of other problems."

Commander nodded. Medic had just checked on Scout, who's team had came back without Electroshocker.

"Where is he now?"

"He's at the gravesite."

As Commander went to go check on Scout, Medic walked to her office to check on Ranger.
