I wake up way before the sun comes out and make my way back to the ground. I wait for him to wake up. I never should have mentioned anything about Scolecite. I know Jade has taken him by now. Why do I even care to get back. I mean really what is the point there is no other being that I want to be with.

Flowers surround me and the leaves of the trees brush up against me. I tell them to make me a new dress and they both get to work intertwining stems and making this remarkable blue dress. The flowers are a lighter shade of blue almost aqua. Not my usual color to wear but it will due. I'm startled when I hear I thud right behind me.

"Azurite?"

I turn to see Silver staring at me in awe. He watches as the trees and flowers finish up dressing me."Good morning, we will need to get going if that is alright with you. The trees will shield us the whole way there from the sun."

"Uh...ok," he looks at me a little confused.

"The sun...remember...I don't do the sun. We should have kept going last night but you insisted on stopping to rest...now we got to be going. There should be a smaller cave up ahead and we can bathe in there and wait the day out if you want. It's going to get really muggy in an hour or so."

"Yeah alright guess we better get going." He turns to look back at me again. "By the way...you look really pretty." Then he winks and turns his head back the other direction.

I feel my face blushing. "Thanks." Not many beings have ever told me that I was pretty...only Scolecite; he is the only one that has ever made me even come near to blushing.

About an hour later after walking part way we make it to the small cave that host Shimmering Falls. I love this place but we usually visit closer to dusk. I walk in and he follows in after me. It's not that far into the cave which is a good thing I guess. We stop and he takes off his backpack and starts taking his shoes off.

Shimmering falls is pure magical, it's super breathtaking to see. The water comes down in several shades of color and it actually shimmers of glitter. I'm pretty certain that this is the only one like it in this world. Nothing compared to the waterfalls in his land. The water here is a tad thicker, more smooth like, kind of like a serum base that is caused by the contents in it. Regardless if the sun is shining down through the opening above the colors are just majestic.

I watch as he looks around the place, admiring all the hues of the water falling into the pool of water below. "Is this place even real? I mean it looks like we stepped into a masterpiece. So we can swim in here right."

"Yes...but..." Before I get another word in he has already striped off his clothing and is only wearing a thinner black piece of cloth and he runs and jumps in. I on the other hand take off my newly made flower dress and lay it gently to the side and walk over and step in.I slowly walk all the way in and then finally diving in all the way letting the water surrounds my ever being. It's so different from the Falling water that we had climbed up, this water is smoother and makes my skin tingle. I love the way it calms every little nerve and make me feel more normal.

By the time I come back up he is looking around trying to find me. I see his body glimmer and it shines of a brown honey sugary color. I wonder if he even knows that he is glimmering. It's all from the water and the minerals that it contains. When he looks back at me it's like he stops breathing all of a sudden.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"You...you're sparkling like your diamond encrusted. How is this possible?" He reaches over and touches my hair and then his hand slowly trails down my cheek resting on my chin. I hold in my breath and when he lets go I let it all the air out. I don't know what just happened between us but something happened in that moment. My heart raced inside of me, thumping and pounding to get out. I felt this shiver start at his hand on my chin and it melted all the way to my toes. I have never felt like this before not even with Scolecite.

I let out a soft gasp, "We should get out and dry off." I whisper to him in a hushed tone as if someone is listening to us. But I know no one is here because it's way too early.

I swim over and then get out. I lay on the rock and let my body dry out. Usually we have a blanket of moss with us and it helps to dry off but we bring that with us and of course none of that is here. He gets out and comes over towards me and sits down beside me.

He must have notices his hands because he glares at them, flipping them over and back again. I watch as his eyes trace up his arms and then he looks down at the rest of his body. "What the hell is happening to me?"

"Calm down...it's just the water. The minerals in it causes your skin to glisten like that. I tried to tell you but you jumped in before I could tell you."

"Will it wash off; I look like I got trapped in Kaya's glitter box."

I giggle. "If it makes you feel any better we will go over to the other falling waters and you can wash all of it off."

"Yeah...think we should do that."

"I will show you but we have to be careful alright."

"Careful of what?"

"You will see." I stand up and put on the blue flower dress. It is made to cover the front of my body and the bottom part of the back side of me so that my wings will be free to fly. Silver only puts on the bottom parts to his clothing and then his boots. I start walking to another area of the cave. "So the boys usually bathe over here." I point to the pool of water.

"So it will all wash off correct?"

I laugh, "Hopefully...if not you will still look dazzling."

He rolls his eyes and takes off his boots and pants and run to jump in. I on the other hand sit off to the side and watch as he swims and dives under and then comes back up. I see him jump as if something is attacking him under the water and he swims back in a hurry. "What the hell is in there?"

"It could be anything."

"Yeah...well something was touching me, matter of fact like it was nipping on me." He searches his body to make sure nothing is attached to him.

I giggle again, "It was probably only the Scratchers...they are like these micro-beings that like to eat on your skin. They just clean you off, they are harmless."

"Harmless...whatever I'm done with bathing here." He uses his shirt to dry off and then he puts all of his clothes back on. "Let's get out of here." He throws on his backpack and starts heading out.

"We need to wait till it gets closer to dark."

"No...we need to get going now."

"But..."

He walks towards the opening of the cave and I follow quickly behind him. The sun nearly blinds me and I close my eyes immediately. "We are never going to get there if we have to only travel closer to dark. Here I have your sunglasses put them on."

"It's not just that you just don't understand the woods like I do."

"It's freaking harmless out here, look around Azurite nothing is going to happen." He throws his hands up in the air and twirls around almost mocking me.

I rush past him flying in the air. I hiss under my breath, if everything is harmless why did he quickly get out of the water. If he wants to be stubborn and not listen to me then we better be on our way. I am in no mood to be stopped by the creatures that live in the woods.

However it's too late and we are surrounded by the Cuphea. We have awakened them and they are not happy. The bat face flowers screech out and I have to cover my ears, the sound is very painful. I know they are alerting every other being in the land. I rush through all of them and look behind me to see Silver trying to out run the sound.

"What the heck was that?"

"They are the Cuphea, they are like tiny bat like flowers that have a death screeching pitch that is super annoying. They are alerting every being that we are here. You do realize it's only going to get worse. This is just the beginning."

This is Shimmering Falls...this is kinda like how I would see it.
