Doctor Banner tugged his jacket tighter around his form as he ran in the direction of The Boss's office, breathing escaping in short wheezes at his quick pace. He was one of the only scientist's that knew where their boss stayed so it was his job to keep his superior up to date on whatever could be going on within the compound.

Her office was very well hidden from the outside world, very well hidden indeed.

The door appeared to only be a mere broom closet but upon further examination you would discover that it contained a rather large and lavish office.

Doctor Banner knocked thrice on the old brown door before pausing as a soft call of acknowledgement confirmed that he could indeed enter.

" Ma'am?" Doctor Banner called softly as he walked into the dark room, eyes not fully adjusting as he followed the light of his boss's computer.

" What?" The Boss snapped, looking up from her computer to instead focus her cold gaze on the short, balding man in front of her.

" You were right, ma'am. The Skinwalker girl is the key. We've had nothing but successful experiments for hours, ma'am." Doctor Banner said excitedly as he hesitated a few feet from the woman's large desk.

All his years of searching for the key component within DNA, the success meant success for all within the compound. It meant they had the possibility to return home for a vacation that lasted longer than one weekend out of a month. If they did their best and gave their boss what she wanted... Maybe...

" I'm aware. Show me what they can do." The Boss stood up, making her way around the large desk she motioned for Doctor Banner to move, jolting the older male from his thoughts as he nervously cleared his throat.

Doctor Banner turned and scurried towards the door, his movements anxious and jerky as he moved quickly towards the holding cells.

If she liked what she saw, maybe he could see his family again.

" Just hurry up and take the video! My hands are freezing!" Alyssa yelled at Joelee as she cupped her hands around a small mound of snow.

" You can't rush perfection, Blondie!" Joelee yelled in return as she lifted the phone, making sure the angles were just right before she nodded.

" Alright, do it." Joelee said before pushing record, squinting a bit as she watched Alyssa lift her hands to her lips.

Alyssa blew the cold powdery snow out of her hands before smiling as she lifted her gaze to Joelee.

" Got it!" Joelee smiled in satisfaction at the video that she had taken before putting it on a loop to create a cute little video for her friend's trip folder.

" Nice." Alyssa said approvingly as she watched the video before saving it to her folder.

" Of course it is, I took it." Joelee scoffed, flipping her shoulder length hair over her shoulder before she runway strutted back into the gym.

Alyssa laughed, tucking her phone into the pocket of her large white jacket before she followed her sassy friend inside.

Joelee was hugging her current boyfriend, Nathan goodbye as Alyssa walked in, Joelee talking quietly to the much taller male who looked a bit awkward in his girlfriend's embrace.

" I'm going to miss this place." Alyssa let out a soft sigh as she adjusted her baby pink earmuffs.

" And I'll miss you, Blondie." Blake said, coming up from behind Alyssa as he ruffled Alyssa's hair, causing her to smack his hands away.

" I'll miss you too, cheese." Alyssa gently straightened her hair as she watched Joelee hug all of their friends from camp.

" See you in June?" Blake smiled down at the blonde woman who grinned, taking time to arrange her hair before she replied.

" Wouldn't miss it for the world." Alyssa nodded excitedly, letting her hands fall to her side before Joelee came up and snatched Alyssa's phone from her pocket.

Joelee ran to drag everyone over to where Alyssa and Blake had been standing before she handed Connor, Alyssa's phone, whispering something into his ear before rejoining her friends.

" As much as I hate pictures I need something to remember all of your faces with." Joelee said as she began to push her friend's into a line, adjusting her black and yellow jersey before she stood next to Nathan.

Alyssa stood next to Esther who was standing next to Nathan. Derek squeezed between Joelee and Nathan, much to Joelee's annoyance but her irritation quickly faded as Kent jumped into everyone's arms. Blake and Alyssa laughed, Alyssa holding up Kent's feet as they all looked at the camera just as Connor snapped the photo.

Alyssa awoke with a start, looking around the metal room she was in with a look of confusion. A sigh escaped her lips as she realized where she was and her heart clenched at the painful memory of her freedom.

" What the..." She murmured, reaching up to touch the cold, metal collar around her neck. Alyssa began to tug at the collar which zapped her when she tried to pull it off.

" Don't bother the collar, Miss Baxter. It has a rather nasty shock to it." Doctor Banner said through the intercom which caused Alyssa to roll her rust brown eyes, annoyance peaked at the sound of Doctor Banner's voice rather than her scientist, Theo's.

" Thanks, captain obvious." Alyssa muttered, standing up and dusting herself off, she glared at her reflection in the mirror, straightening her hair as best as she could while grumbling in annoyance. Theo stood a bit farther away, the handsome man holding a large tablet as he watched Alyssa from beside Doctor Banner, though it appeared as though she were staring directly at him, the two way mirror blocked her view while he was able to watch her every move.

" Now, Miss Baxter, show us what you can do." The Boss woman ordered through the small intercom, causing Alyssa to arch her eyebrows. The Boss examined the short blonde in front of her curiously as she awaited the results of her orders. Alyssa was rather short from where she stood in front of them though she couldn't see just how close she actually was, standing at around 5'2 while Theo seemed around 6'4.

Theo was incredibly handsome with full dusty gold lips that were slightly darker than his golden tanned skin, his muscular and athletic form a vast contrast next to Doctor Banner's short and portly one. His dark brown hair in lose waves that brushed every so slightly against his neck, gel swooping his hair from his grey-green eyes which were lidded with long brown eyelashes.

" Well... I can sing I guess-" Alyssa started to say before Doctor Banner cut her off with a nervous laugh, his brown eyes flicking to The Boss momentarily to gage a reaction before he responded.

" No, no, show us your powers." Doctor Banner said quickly, causing the scientist beside him to roll his beautiful grey-green eyes as he clutched his tablet tightly while Alyssa began to tug on the collar around her neck.

" My WHAT?!" Alyssa yelped as she dropped her hands, the shock warning her from further messing with the collar as she stared at her reflection in the mirror with a look of confusion.

" You will see inevitably, flower." Her scientist said calmly before his fingers moved quickly over the screen of the tablet.

" I've run extensive tests on Miss Baxter and so far she has developed emotional manipulation. I would need to run more tests to discover if another power is hidden deep down, somewhere." The male continued as he lowered his tablet a bit to look at The Boss woman, not wanting to have to shock Alyssa with the collar to show a power that they wouldn't even be able to see.

"Emotional manipulation? Undercover work would be very beneficial for this one, then." Axle commented as he came to stand behind The Boss who gave a simple nod in reply, her expression betraying no emotions.

" Contact me if anything new arises." The Boss ordered before she turned and walked away from the two without another word.

" You did well, Matthews." Doctor Banner patted the scientist's muscular arm before hurrying after the red headed woman, Axle straying slightly further behind the two as he spared a final glance at Alyssa.

Rachel was sitting in her own metal room, reading her book in silence. She'd been there for over an hour since her scientist had brought her there after injecting her with a rather painful liquid.

" Hello, Miss Warner." Doctor Banner's voice rang through the intercom on the wall, causing Rachel to let out a low sigh as she realized they were more than likely going to disturb her reading.

Rachel gave a slight nod of acknowledgement but didn't look up from her book, trying to force her mind onto the words of the book rather than the sad reality of the waking world.

" We would like you to demonstrate your powers Miss Warner." Doctor Banner said as he stood next to a woman with blonde hair that was tied up into a bun.

Rachel looked up at the security camera with an unreadable expression, the people behind the two way mirrors able to see her working her lower lip between her teeth from the monitor on Rachel's scientists' tablet.

" I've only ever used my powers one time before this so I'm not sure how to use them..." Rachel said with a contemplative expression which earned her a shock from the metal collar around her neck as though being ignorant on the use of her powers were rude.

" Ow..." Rachel winced as she rubbed the spot just above her collar, pale skin turning red from the irritation the shock brought.

" Don't be snarky." The blonde woman snapped through the intercom before she shocked Rachel with the tablet once again.

Rachel sighed, as she lowered her head more, avoiding looking at the security camera now as she nodded bitterly, her ankle length hair to shield her face from the security camera as she allowed tears to run down her face. She knew better than to argue, her scientist was constantly doing little things just to make Rachel react so that she could punish her.

Returning to her book she wanted nothing more than to escape into the pages of the book. To be anywhere other than this dreaded place, spending every day either bored or being tortured.

Rachel hugged the book to her chest as she closed her eyes and a bright blue light flashed around the room before Rachel was gone.

The scientist hurried forward as she quickly scanned the butterfly tattoo on her wrist before running into the room. She reached down and picked up the book, lifting it up to show the people watching as she looked up to look where she knew Doctor Banner was standing.

A crease formed in Dr. Banner's forehead as he noticed that the book looked different than it had before. The cover being a completely different color and even the title being a completely new one.

The scientist flipped open the book which made the blue light shine around the room again and Rachel appeared in the room, but she was wearing a very old fashioned blue dress rather than the normal clothes that prisoners wore and she had dirt smudged over her face.

The scientist quickly exited the room again, locking the door behind her as she approached her superiors, a smug smile on her hot pink lips as she tilted her tablet to allow Doctor Banner to see the results of her testing.

" My tests have revealed she is able to project her form into whatever she so desires. As long as it has a physical form. Her powers allow her to project her memories into an almost physical existence within the pages of a book or even a device such as phones or computers. She also has a photographic memory but it's more physical than that. She can quite literally enter her own mind momentarily. She disappears from the physical plane entirely... It's almost like she creates a realm of her own just to revisit her memories." The scientist explained proudly as she grinned at the two, batting her eyelashes almost flirtatiously at Doctor Banner.

Doctor Banner looked extremely confused, seemingly not even noticing the scientist's flirting as he looked at The Boss but The Boss woman nodded her approval.

" That could be a useful power." She murmured as she turned her attention to Axle who scratched the stubble that dotted his cheeks with a thoughtful expression.

"If she could project her form into enemy files or computers, she mark down all of the information, She could be incredibly useful for us." Axle murmured to The Boss as he glanced into the cell at the young woman, mind racing for which possible mission he could use her for immediately.

" Next experiment, Banner." The Boss said as she focused her dark green gaze on the little man who immediately perked up at the sound of his name.

" Yes ma'am." Doctor Banner agreed quickly before he led her away, not noticing the blonde scientist watching him go with a longing expression.

Rachel sighed softly, wishing that her scientist had left the book in her cell with her so that she could escape reality. But with nothing better to do, she simply sat on the ground and waited patiently for the guards to take her back to her cell.

" Hello, David, this is the youngest Warner girl that you have taken under your wing?" Doctor Banner asked the attractive young man that now stood before them.

David was a rather handsome man, looking to be in his late to mid twenties. He was rather tall, compared to Doctor Banner who stood around 5'2, David looked to be around 5'10 with a slim yet muscular figure. He had short, sleek, black hair that was combed back neatly but a few rebellious strands strayed down into his eyes. His unnaturally bright blue eyes followed The Boss woman's movements as she came to stop behind Doctor Banner.

" Aye. She has been rather helpful in our research and I believe her powers would be valuable to our cause." David flashed a dazzling smile as he pulled out a tablet, pulling up a video on the large device as he held it at the ready.

" Very well. What are her powers?" The Boss woman asked as she peered down at the screen, French manicured nails tapping on her own hip as she waited impatiently for David to play the video.

David pressed play on the video, revealing David sitting at a table with Esther who was examining a large cut on David's hand. Esther murmured something to the taller male, flicking her thigh length hair over her shoulder as she examined the wound delicately. Esther gently laid her hand over his, closing her eyes and wrinkling her eyebrows as a dim white glow surrounded their entwined hands.

" So far she has healing but otherwise that's it, love." David replied with a smile as the David in the video lifted his completely healed hand to the camera.

"They could use her within the medic bay. The general did request research in that department." Axle murmured from where he stood rather close behind the ginger woman so that he too could see the video, their proximity not seeming to faze the regal woman though as she straightened her stance.

" Keep testing, see if you can get anything else." The Boss ordered before walking away again, leaving David and Doctor Banner to exchange glances as Axle followed close behind the woman, talking quietly to her as she gave small nods in reply.

David sighed, glancing into the room where Esther was before turning to look helplessly at Doctor Banner who gave him a reassuring smile before quickly hurrying after The Boss Lady.

The Boss woman stopped at yet another holding cell, peering into the dim room with a look of distaste.

Boopsy hummed loudly as they moved their body side to side to the beat of their own song. Their hair was a deep brunette, ending just below their neck and their eyes were a light green with brown around the iris. They had a slightly curved and thicker figure which was revealed by the fact they had tied their shirt into a crop top.

" Hello, Lightning." Doctor Banner said cheerfully as he came to stop next to a man around the same age as himself.

" Hey, Igor!" Boopsy called cheerfully as they waved at the two way mirror frantically, not stopping their weird and chaotic dance as their hand dropped back to their side after a few moments.

" They figured out it was a two way mirror when they were examining the room. Said they were bored." The scientist explained to Doctor Banner who nodded in response, not seeming even the slightest bit surprised by the information.

" They?" The Boss woman cocked an eyebrow as she glanced between the two, eyes completely void of any emotion but she seemed as though she were genuinely curious.

" It's their preferred pronoun. Doctor Fredrico and I agreed that if we must take away everything else, we can at least grant them their proper pronouns... Ma'am." Doctor Banner replied quickly, sparing a glance at the salt and pepper haired male next to him for support.

Axle and The Boss exchanged glances, their eyes void of emotion but they seemed to share a silent conversation before The Boss stepped towards the microphone that allowed her to speak to the patient within.

" Show us your powers." The Boss said through the intercom, completely ignoring both scientists who breathed a sigh of relief. Making decisions without first consulting their boss could have dire or even deadly consequences for any party involved.

Boopsy rolled their eyes which earned them a shock from The Boss who had taken the Doctor Fredrico's tablet, their teeth gritting as they glared at the two way mirror with a defiant expression.

" Oooow, why you...." Boopsy yelled but was interrupted by another shock before The Boss woman handed the tablet back to Doctor Fredrico.

The Boss woman smirked as Boopsy clawed at their collar, only making the shocks worse. She knew the madder the subject got, the more powerful they would be. She had witnessed the significant difference in a subject who was calmly showing their powers rather than using it in self defense.

" This one is spunky." The Boss said without even a slight hint of amusement in her tone but her eyes showed a keen interest.

" Very." Doctor Banner nodded before Boopsy hit the glass angrily, causing the two older men to back up as Boopsy's fists left a large crack in the strong glass but The Boss remained where she stood, Axle's hand falling on his holster but he didn't dare move as The Boss took a step forward.

" This is bullet proof glass, yes?" The Boss mused as she touched the broken glass gingerly, tracing the large crack with a fascinated expression.

" Yes ma'am." Doctor Fredrico said as he quickly wrote down the new information, watching The Boss with an almost worried expression, waiting with baited breath for what she would say next.

If The Boss wasn't happy about the results of his testing, he would more than likely get demoted... or worse.

" Interesting..." The Boss murmured before moving towards the next viewing station, causing Doctor Fredrico to release his breath as Doctor Banner scurried after her.

"For future reference. I would recommend you do not make decisions without consulting Magdalene first. Unless you want to end up like Doyle. Is that clear?" Axle'a growled warming caused the older scientist's face to immediately grow pale as all he managed was a shaky nod.

" This one is?" The Boss questioned, looking at the brown haired male in the room with a now emotionless expression.

The male was rather tall and lean, standing around 6'4 with brown hair that brushed against the bottom of his neck. His eyes were a light blue and full of mischief as he stared straight at the camera with an eerie grin.

" This is Mister Harrison. So far he has shown a mental ability that allows him to know the proper use, amount of ammunition it holds, and firing distance of any weapon he uses. Even swords, spears, or any other melee weapons he handles. He knows proper technique in using it, the precise damage required to take out a target... Anything. All from a simple touch. He does also appear to have enhanced, hand-eye coordination, not unlike a guard would have... His seems to be a bit more prominent though... But he forgets all of the information he gained as soon as he puts the weapon down. And other than the powers he has... It seems as though he is immune to any and all other powers that could affect his mental awareness and I do not think he will be able to receive any further experimentation due to his immunity to almost all powers outside of his own." A woman with brunette hair murmured as she looked down regretfully, nervously tapping her finger on the side of her tablet as she spoke.

The Boss snorted in disgust before removing her gaze from the younger male as she instead focused her gaze on the scared young woman.

" Do better." The Boss woman sneered as she moved on to the next cell, while the woman simply hid her face behind her tablet with an embarrassed expression.

"All disappointment aside, he could be a very valuable asset to the military, ma'am. Cloning abilities now that we have them could be a positive step forward from here." Axle murmured to The Boss who narrowed her eyes thoughtfully, seeming to contemplate what he was saying but she gave no reply as a young male scientist hurried towards them.

"I am a very busy woman, Julias. You would do well to hurry this along." The Boss's words caused the dark haired male's tanned skin to immediately go pale as he swallowed heavily.

" Ah, this is Blake D'Abbraccio. He possesses mental projection. Whatever he imagines, he can temporarily be made into a real, physical projection once put on paper. But only for a moment and if his creation comes into contact with water, it disappears. If properly taught he could learn to channel his projections without having to use a sketchbook." A dark haired scientist said as he watched the young boy draw in a dingy green notebook. The boy was incredibly pale from the lack of sun, his upper lip and chin dotted with brown stubble contrasting significantly against his incredibly pale and almost sickly, skin. His hair was a dark, rust brown, and hung down to his shoulders in messy tangles. He still had slight chub to him as he had yet to lose it due to malnutrition like the rest of the kids in the facility, he was good at keeping his meals constant thanks to his uncanny way of talking people into giving him stuff.

The young scientist pushed a button that sent a shock into Blake's neck, causing him to lift his eyes to the two way mirror where he focused his gaze as he began to sketch quickly.

His brown eyes momentarily glowed dark purple as a large snake erupted from the pages and struck at the glass, causing Doctor Banner to jump away with a surprised yell. Blake grinned and ran a hand through his greasy, light brown hair before returning to his drawings.

" Interesting." The Boss hummed, not saying another word to the dark haired scientist as she approached a tall blonde male instead.

A dark haired male sat at the bottom of what appeared to be a large fish tank, long black hair floating around him as he sat cross legged on the floor of the tank. His slightly stockier form completely still and calm as he opened and closed his eyes slowly, seemingly meditating or thinking as the gills on the side of his neck forced open and closed.

" Nathan Spencer, ma'am. He only has one power that I've seen... He can...." Nathan's scientist started to say as he typed on his tablet, immediately stiffening when he was cut off with a scoff of annoyance.

" I can use my eyes, Doctor. It is quite obvious what he can do." The Boss snapped, causing the younger male to flinch as he fumbled with the tablet nervously.

" Yes, ma'am. Sorry, ma'am." The scientist stuttered as Doctor Banner and The Boss walked away, silently cursing himself as he noticed Doctor Banner taking notes of his actions.

"The Navy may take special interest in powers such as his. I will make a few calls after the initial introduction of powers... With your permission, of course, ma'am." The Boss gave a dismissive wave as a sign that she would allow it, immediately causing Axle to fall silent as the two came to stop in front of yet another viewing station.

" Killian Van Kamp, ma'am. His cerebrum is in constant overdrive... He's smarter than any of the scientist's in the entire laboratory... It's quite phenomenal-" His scientist began to explain excitedly, her green eyes wide in excitement before The Boss cut her off with a soft hum of acknowledgement.

" Telekinesis... Interesting." The Boss said as she watched a book float around the handsome man's cell, green eyes full of fascination at the rather groundbreaking power.

Killian was a rather handsome man, with black, neck length, untamed curls. His eyes were a thin almond shape and a beautiful deep brown in color but as the light caught them, a slight hint of the color of honey made its presence known. Freckles dotted his cheeks and nose, the lack of sun making his skin a light golden brown. His eyelashes brushed against his cheeks as he looked down at the rubix cube in his hands, tongue poking out of his full lips as he worked the cube in a matter of seconds before quickly scrambling it again.

All he really cared about was the fact he could finally solve one of those overly frustrating and colorful cubes.

" Ah.... Kevin. My... ex pupil." The Boss tutted, looking in the next cell where Kevin was playing with a ball of water, the sound of her voice through the intercom causing Kevin to immediately look up with rage in his solid baby blue eyes.

Kevin stood to his full height as he threw the water ball at the two-way mirror, eyes turning hazel rather than the blue they had been glowing previously as he glared at The Boss through the mirror, almost like he could see her but she knew he couldn't.

Kevin pushed back the red curls that had begun to stick to his forehead as he breathed heavily, thin stature shaking a bit from the force of using his powers.

" Yes, ma'am. He seems to understand what is happening." A young raven haired woman said as she held up her tablet to show The Boss woman the notes she had taken during experimentation on Kevin.

" Of course he does. He is a bright young man.... It's a shame he couldn't keep his nose out of my business. He would have made a valuable asset to my team." The Boss said, pursing her lips as she watched Kevin collapse to the ground with a pained expression.

" Kayla Winters. Her last name is fairly ironic, honestly. She has ice powers." A young blonde scientist said as she pushed up her round framed glasses, seeming to shake beneath Axle's intense gaze as she struggled to keep her composure.

The woman within the containment cell was a very pale woman with light blue eyes. She was tall and athletic with curly, strawberry blonde hair that hung down to her waist.

The scientist smiled nervously as she send a small jolt of electricity through Kayla's collar, causing the strawberry blonde haired woman to flinch as her eyes lightened to completely white and her hair began to straighten and turn white. Kayla's lips began to turn blue before it began to spread along the length of her body, the floor beneath her beginning to freeze as she narrowed her stark white eyes.

" Impressive...." The Boss woman mumbled as she watched ice crawl up the glass, the security camera icing over completely as the entire room was coated in a thick layer of ice.

Doctor Banner continued to guide The Boss to all of the patients, The Boss seemingly growing more impatient as they reached the last of the cells, the ginger woman checking her watch with a look of pure irritation that made Doctor Banner nervous.

" And lastly... Mary McCain." Doctor Banner said, looking more annoyed at the sight of the fiery redhead that he had the sheer displeasure of calling his patient.

" What is her power?" The Boss asked as her green gaze took in the woman in front of her, watching as Mary read silently in her cell.

" Her power...Is power ma'am...." Doctor Banner said, mentally slapping himself at how stupid his explanation sounded. He hadn't had time to prepare a big reveal like his fellow scientists had. He was far too busy and Mary was quite a handful for the older male, especially with all he did around the facility anyway.

" Speak with the wisdom of your age, Doctor Banner. When you speak like an ignorant toddler I get annoyed." The Boss snapped, eyes boring into the shorter male who flinched as he looked down at his tablet.

" My apologies, ma'am.... I mean she controls electricity... And from what I have seen in controlled climates... Lightning." Doctor Banner said, looking up as the lights flickered within Mary's room, the young woman now looking at the lights with a smirk.

" We're done here. Document the rest accordingly. I have more pressing matters to attend to." The Boss woman said coldly before walking back down the long hallway, Doctor Banner watching her go until the sound of her heels faded in the distance.

Doctor Banner let out a shuddering breath before sending the guards to fetch the kids and put them back in their cells as directed.

" What's wrong, Banner?" Rachel's scientist asked as she sauntered into his office, eyelashes fluttering as she studied him with her big brown eyes.

" Just something troubling me about a few of the patients." Doctor Banner answered after a moment, seemingly lost in thought as he turned his gaze to her finally.

" And what's that? You can tell me anything, darling. I won't tell a soul." Rachel's scientist exclaimed reassuringly, pressing closer to him as she spoke but Doctor Banner seemed completely oblivious to her flirting as he scratched his chin thoughtfully.

" Well... Magdalene is smart... That I know for certain. But why use the kids from the camp?" Doctor Banner mused to the blonde woman who blinked in confusion, seemingly not understanding what he was asking as she instead sat on his desk next to him.

" They were compatible..." The scientist began before Doctor Banner cut her off, much to her annoyance.

" That's just the thing. They weren't compatible. Compatibility was deemed based on whether or not they would be missed. She ordered to use those children specifically... Why not just pick them at random as they had done before? Kids that wouldn't be missed? We don't even know why some kids take better to powers than others do. So how would we know they were compatible because for all extensive purposes... They're not. All were searched for extensively. So why?" Doctor Banner looked down at the woman who seemed suddenly at a loss for words as she just gaped at him silently, eyes now wide as she realized he was completely correct.

" Perhaps... Perhaps she had something special in mind for them... Perhaps it's personal. Perhaps... She knows more than she's letting on." Doctor Banner paused as he examined her reaction before giving her a wide smile. Her reaction alone told him all that he needed to know about trusting her.

" But listen to me. Rambling on and on like the old fool I am. Let's go get some well earned coffee, Doctor Gale." Doctor Banner's words seemed to snap her out of her shock as she gave him a wide smile, her flirtatious personality immediately returning as she slid from his desk.

" I would love that, Banner. And please... Call me Kathy." The blonde woman winked as she exited the office, hesitating in the hallway for the older male to follow.

Doctor Banner glanced at the board behind his desk which held pictures of all of his test subjects. He shuddered and shut off the lights which plunged the office into darkness before he hurried after Doctor Gale glad to leave this godforsaken place. He stopped just behind her at the exit, giving the empty lobby one more glance before closing the large doors which instantly locked behind them.

This chapter is boring....I know. Sorry. I tried.

Vote, Comment. Bye 👋.
