"Honestly, the fact that you are even walking is surprising beyond belief. Your bones are basically shattered from what I can tell. I think we need to take you to a hospital." Rachel stepped back from Joelee, eyeing her leg which was swollen to almost double its size now while her ribs, stomach, and back were marred blue and purple bruises that spread across her flesh like she'd just done a color run.

"Nah. It'll heal. It already feels better than it did when I left." Joelee murmured as she slowly slid her baggy t shirt over her head, wincing at the pain in her ribs and arms as she allowed the black fabric to settle over her form.

"Joe..." Rachel began slowly but she hesitated as Joelee flicked her icy blue gaze to the dirty blonde haired woman, something about her expression telling Rachel that the conversation was over.

"I'll be fine. Nothing an aspirin or something can't fix. I just needed you to make sure I didn't have any cuts to dress. Plus Killian wouldn't let me sleep until I actually talked to you." Joelee gave Rachel a halfhearted smile as she slowly began to make her way towards the door.

"You know it's okay to admit that you need help once in awhile, right?" Rachel called as Joelee hesitated in the doorway, not turning to face Rachel this time as she released a quiet sigh.

"We're metas. I don't get the luxury of going to hospitals. Besides, what's the use of super healing if I don't let it do its job?" Joelee replied before she quickly hurried out of the room before Rachel could mother her into changing her mind.

Joelee eyed Kevin warily from where he stood just outside the door, giving him a nod of acknowledgment as he made his way into the room instead but he didn't seem to notice as he approached Rachel instead.

"Hey, do you want to study? I have a test tomorrow and I really don't want to fail it." Kevin ran a hand through his neck length, loose curls as he watched Rachel put away her first aid kit, his freckled cheeks tinting red as she turned to face him with a bright smile.

"Yeah, sounds good. You'll pass with flying colors." Rachel's voice was a lot more cheerful now which caused Kevin's cheeks to darken even more as he awkwardly cleared his throat before he turned to make himself at home on the couch at the center of her room.

"Just make sure you leave the door open! I don't want you kids alone in the room where the risk of holding hands is so high." Esther taunted as she passed by the room, snickering when Rachel's face turned just as red as Kevin's.

"Leave them alone. I think Kevin's crush is cute." Joelee murmured as she followed Esther down the long hallway, hesitating at the top of the stairs with an annoyed look on her face as she realized that she would have to very slowly and painfully make it down the stairs without Killian noticing and getting angry with her for using her bad leg.

"It's weird. He's too old for her." Esther muttered bitterly as she stopped in front of her door, fully intending to watch Joelee go down every single step just to make sure the blonde woman didn't pass out on her way down.

Joelee said nothing as she turned to give Esther a look that immediately made Esther flinch as she realized just what that look was about.

"Okay, well, that's different. I'm twenty one, and he is only twenty six. Kevin is twenty eight... And Rachel is twenty four... Well, I guess it's less than ours but still! It's weird! That's my sister! She's never even had a boyfriend!" Esther cringed as she shuddered at the thought of her innocent sister even holding hands with a male, let alone dating one or even marrying him someday.

"She's a big girl. I believe in her." Joelee shrugged as she leaned heavily on the stairway just before she froze as she heard the sound of heavy footsteps running down the stairs.

"Great... I knew I should've hurried." Joelee murmured while Esther looked up at the floor above them with a confused expression, waiting impatiently for an explanation as she knew that Joelee could tell who was coming.

"Probably should go before Killian yells at me." Joelee finally sighed as the footsteps grew closer, the blonde woman recognizing his scent anywhere at this point. Not to mention everyone had their own distinctive way of walking that she'd come to recognize over her many sleepless nights within the apartment.

"Don't you dare move." Killian's voice yelled as his head peaked over the arm rail, his deep brown eyes narrowing on Joelee who released a loud sigh as she instead leaned against the wall.

"Yes, dad." Joelee mumbled while Esther gave her a look as Killian's footsteps resumed, less frantic now that he knew Joelee was listening to him for once.

"What's that look about?" Joelee arched her eyebrows as she flicked her gaze to Esther who simply shook her head with an annoyed expression.

"You're so oblivious. You know that, right? For someone with super senses and a new ability to be a therapist... You seem to not notice things going on in your own life but are so nosey towards other people's. Learn to focus on things happening in your own life, bro. Not that I want anything to happen. That's disgusting." Esther sighed heavily before she began to make her way up the stairs, brushing past Killian as he finally made it down to Joelee.

Joelee didn't have time to ponder what exactly Esther meant by what she had said as Killian put a hand on her shoulder, struggling to control his heavy breathing as he glowered down at her.

"You're going to break your neck, woman. No walking down stairs with a broken leg. I know I can't stop you from moving around which is beyond surprising considering the fact your leg is literally shattered but I rest my case. You at least need to be careful on the stairs." Killian's freckled face was laced with sweat, most likely from his literal sprint down the stairs but he didn't seem to care as he kept his deep brown eyes focused on Joelee.

"I have stuff to do, Killian. I can't just stay downstairs until I heal. I don't know when that will be. I can deal with it for now." Joelee met his eyes, studying the purple flecks that laced through the swirling darkness as they seemed to soften beneath her own gaze.

"I know that. But that doesn't mean I can't do something to help. I fixed the elevator." Joelee's eyes widened in surprise as Killian moved his hand from her shoulder, the woman now noticing that his golden skin was covered with a small layer of oil and dust which he attempted to wipe away with his sleeve as he heaved another sigh to steady his breathing.

"How? That thing was trashed." Joelee raised an eyebrow as Killian gave a shrug, a smile breaking out onto his face as he winked before moving to her side.

"I'm a mad scientist, Joe. I can fix anything.... Except your bones. But I'm working on that." Killian stated before he wrapped his arm around her, scooping her up into a bridal style carry before he began to walk towards the elevator, ignoring her squeak of surprise at suddenly being lifted significantly higher than she was used to.

"I won't drop you. Don't worry. But you need to rest. The world can wait for now. You fought crime already tonight, so take a break. You've earned it." Killian's voice was a lot softer now as he held her tightly to his chest, keeping his gaze focused ahead rather than on her as he made his way towards where he knew the second floor elevator was.

Joelee wrapped her arms around his neck despite his reassurance, not wanting to fall as she instead attempted to distract herself by looking over the paintings that Artemis was working on along the second floor.

"I wish I had Artemis' power. It's so beautiful." Joelee murmured as she gazed at the beautiful mural of a garden of flowers, the details of each and every individual petal was done with so much patience and attention that it was awe inspiring. Everything Artemis painted was done with so much love, the fact that her powers tied into her skill made it that much better as Artemis was able to do what she loved no matter where she was.

Having a power so beautiful was something that Joelee could only dream of, the power she was "gifted" with seeming more like a curse as the days passed by. Though she guessed that if anyone else with an outside view could see what powers she had, she assumed they would find them cool as a few of the new people had stated that they were even jealous that she could read minds. Even shapeshifting into a wolf in theory sounded pretty cool if you ignored how painful the ordeal was, as well as the fact that she constantly had an internal battle over control in every aspect of the word.

"Your power is pretty cool too. I wish I could turn into a wolf. It'd make running less painful." Killian joked but immediately frowned as he realized that Joelee didn't even crack a smile, her eyes seeming distant and almost sad as she continued to study the beautiful mural as they walked.

Killian shifted as he gently placed Joelee back onto the ground, allowing her to use him as support as she gradually adjusted her weight off of her bad leg.

"It'll make quite a bit of noise for a bit as I had to do some black market stuff to get a new cable but... It works. It won't break, I promise. I reinforced it so it won't be breaking for awhile. No matter how many times the younger kids use it just for fun." Killian pressed the elevator button which immediately flashed a bright blue, Joelee listening in amazement as the familiar sound of the mechanical parts of the elevator moving down rang through the hallway.

"You mean when you use it just for fun?" Joelee joked, shaking off her amazement as she turned her attention back to Killian who placed a hand over his chest with a look of feigned shock.

"What kind of person do you take me for, Joe? Of course I'll be doing that." Killian laughed as the elevator doors opened, allowing the two to enter before Killian pressed the button to the lobby floor.

"I expect nothing less, Killian. Not that I'm surprised that you could do this, but thank you. You never cease to amaze me despite the fact I know what you're capable of." Joelee gave him a gentle smile which caused Killian's cheeks to flare red, awkwardly clearing his throat as the doors slid shut before the elevator began to slowly move.

"Thanks, Joe. I just want to help... You know I'd do anything for you." Killian's voice was so soft that she would not have heard him without her enhanced hearing, almost as if he wasn't sure if he should say those words out loud.

"I appreciate you, Killian. But you should get some rest. You've had an eventful night as well." Joelee gave him a stern look that showed he had no room to argue, causing the male to release a heavy sigh as the elevator slowed to a stop before the doors slid open.

"Okay, I will. Coffee can only keep me running for so long." Killian joked as he offered his arm for her to use but she didn't seem to notice as she limped from the elevator, much to his own disappointment but he said nothing before he placed his hand out to block the elevator doors from closing behind her.

"Thank you, again. Goodnight, Killian." Joelee called over her shoulder as she began to make her way towards her room, Killian nervously biting at the skin on his full lips as he stepped back to allow the elevator doors to close without another word.

"Not to ruin your little night but you should see this." Sam's voice startled Joelee as she had been deep in thought, the woman hesitating to turn to her friend who stood just outside of their shared room with Kai.

"What is it?" Joelee released a soft sigh as she leaned heavily against the wall, her leg throbbing uncomfortably from how much she was using it. She just wanted to lay down with a good book and allow her body to heal, maybe even get an hour or two of sleep if she was lucky enough.

Sam walked closer to the slightly shorter blonde, hazel eyes much too serious for Joelee's like as they handed Joelee their phone before tapping on the top of the phone.

Joelee arched her eyebrows as she began to read the article that Sam had given her, face growing pale as she looked back up at Sam for a moment before resuming her frantic reading.

"Superhero turned villain? Obsidian, formally thought to be a hero to the people has undone the very work that he has done for these past few weeks. At around 10:45, the local vigilante broke into the high priority facility that had recently been built by benefactor Dean Knight to aid the police in containing superpowered individuals. Obsidian was reported to have helped these individuals escape, including the ones captured earlier in the night. Seven police casualties were reported.... No. This can't be right. Why would he help contain them if he was only going to break them out later?" Joelee snapped as she swiped through the pictures that were attached to the news article, hesitating on a photo that showed Obsidian facing the direction of the photographer.

"It's not him." Joelee said as she finally lifted her eyes to Sam once again who still held the same serious expression, their arms crossing over their chest as they heaved a soft sigh.

"I know. That's why I showed it to you. Well, I would've shown you anyway... But... That guy is bigger than Obsidian. Look at them next to that blue fire chick in comparison." Sam reached for their phone, switching to the gallery of their phone before they pulled up two photos taken of Obsidian next to Nyx. One from earlier in the night, the flames obstructing most of the view but the height difference between the two was painfully obvious. Sam switched to the second photo which was much clearer than before as the photographer seemed to be surprisingly close to the two now, Obsidian seeming to tower at least another foot or two above Nyx now.

"Now, at first I assumed it was just one of Obsidian's little perks. Maybe he can alter his height. But the facts don't line up. Like you said. Plus, his eyes." Sam pulled up a picture of Obsidian standing next to a police officer, blue eyes causing a slight glare on the photo while the photo next to it was the same from the news report that Sam had showed her, but now Obsidian's eyes glowed a startling gold.

"Then who is that?" Joelee murmured as she tilted her head to the side, Sam tucking their phone into the pocket of their black shorts as they shook their head with a confused expression.

"Guess I'll find out tomorrow... He'll be there if he's innocent and if he's not... Then I'll track him down and deal with him myself." Joelee turned to limp down the hallway, closing her door behind herself while Sam shook their head.

"That's ominous." Sam muttered to Kai who had been eavesdropping from their room, the black haired male giving a quick nod in response.

The lights illuminated the glass beneath his hood as he gazed down at the streets below, golden eyes focused on the building in front of him as he flicked the roach off of the edge into the streets below.

Alaric walked forward, stepping off of the ledge as he plummeted towards the ground below, concrete flying apart around him as his feet planted deep into the stone, his fist landing in front of him to steady his impact while he leaned forward heavily on a single knee.

His head lifted as he straightened his stance, shaking off his coat before he sauntered forward, catching the sound of yelling within the building as he curled his fingers into a ball once more.

The wall flew apart as his fist made impact, the glass from his fist mixing with the debris of the wall but he didn't seem to care as he waltzed into the building.

"Obsidian? What's going-?" A male police officer began to stutter out, only to let out a strangled gasp as he was lifted into the air, seemingly by nothing.

"No time for chitchat. I'm antisocial, you see. My social battery is too drained for witty commentary." Alaric flicked his wrist which caused the police officer's neck to jerk to the side at an awkward angle, his body dropping to the ground easily as Alaric continued forward.

"Don't move!" A female officer shouted at him, Alaric not sparing her a glance as he raised his hand, a stream of bright white flame erupting from his palms before it enveloped the woman cop and the police offer that had been standing beside her.

Alaric ignored their screams of pain, the bullet she had managed to fire off, melting before it even became a minor annoyance to him.

"So tedious." Alaric sighed in annoyance as he kicked open the vault door that had been specifically created to seal in the metas, the three guards within looking up rather quickly but Alaric was in no mood to talk now. The sound of glass breaking echoed through the room as he pulled back his sleeve, the glass around his forearm now raised up in deadly points, the first guard quickly scrambling to his feet but Alaric was much too fast as he flung his arm out before returning it to his side. The glass that had been raised flung towards the guards, implanting into their eyes as two screamed in pain, the third being a bit more unlucky as the glass lodged a bit too far into his head.

"I can't stand your kind. You're so weak. But then again... I can't stand my own, either. Maybe I'm more than antisocial... Perhaps I just hate living things in general." Alaric muttered as he clenched his hands, the sound of crunching bones filling the air which caused both police officers to immediately go silent as their heads turn to mush from where they now knelt on the ground.

The sound of their bodies slumping to the floor didn't deter him as he flicked his wrist once again, all of the cell door flying off of their hinges before landing gently in the center of the room.

"Anyone who doesn't come quietly ends up like those guards. Understood?" Alaric yelled out as metas began to tentatively poke their heads out of their cells, all seeming unnerved by the male in general but none argued as they began to make their way towards him obediently.

"Don't get caught again. Magdalene made this exception to bust you out only once and she doesn't have anything else to offer me. So consider yourselves lucky." Alaric muttered as he turned to make his way out of the building, a single eye glowing gold beneath his hood while the other lay dark beneath the cover of darkness the fabric created.

"Stop! Why are you doing this?!" A female officer screamed only to go silent as Alaric grabbed her by her short black hair, lifting her up to his height as he glared down as her paling face.

"I don't know." With that answer, he lunged forward, tearing out her throat with his teeth before he let her drop to the ground.

"You have no proof that it wasn't him. Good looks doesn't always mean you're the good guy. Half the time it's the opposite." Andrew slammed his hands down on the rather large table that sat in the dining room of the apartments. They had placed quite a few large tables and chairs into the dining room to accommodate the very large group in case of emergency meetings, such as now.

Sam sighed rather dramatically as they placed both elbows onto the table, balancing their face with their palms as they focused their glare on Andrew.

"As much as I do not like you, I have to agree. The villains are usually hotter. But Joe and I both agree that the guys in those photos are two different people. If he had the opportunity to be that tall then he would be. Anybody would take the opportunity to be taller. Let alone someone who uses their height for intimidation. Also, now you admit that Obsidian is attractive? Have you seen his face?" Andrew rolled his eyes at Sam who narrowed their eyes at Andrew's blatant disregard for their opinion.

"That's the only reason you think they're not the same person? Pretty shallow for facts." Andrew scoffed as he crossed his arms over his chest, returning Sam's glare but it didn't seem to faze them as the two stared each other down.

"Obviously that's not the only facts we have... And I'm not saying he's innocent. I'm asking what everyone thinks we should do if he is or isn't. The point of the meeting was a mutual agreement or vote on what to do should he behind this. But the facts are being presented now before I go so you know just how important this will be tonight." Joelee interrupted the two before they could have a full blown spat could break out between them but it her words did nothing to deter their intense stare down as Sam narrowed their eyes a bit to show that Andrew needed to listen to what was being said.

"The murders were incredibly brutal from what I discovered. Obsidian hasn't killed anyone in the year that he's been around. He's like Batman, kinda.... Doesn't kill but definitely injures them depending on how badly they injured others. Like not in the, eye for an eye, way... More like... He's less careful when fighting against those people. Plus I will admit that the eyes doesn't rule out him as a suspect but I can't find any picture evidence that he's ever used that eye color before. It's always that sapphire blue color that people write fan-fictions about. Yes, there's a lot. No, I will not give you the sauce to these fan-fictions. It was for research only." Sam immediately turned their attention to Killian as he spoke, the male glaring at the hopeful look in Sam's eyes at the aspect of getting new reading material.

"Not to mention, why would he release the people he helped put away?" Rachel chimed up in an attempt to distract Sam from bullying the information out of Killian.

"Why help put those people away in the first place? That's the thing. Like, isn't he shocked by people suddenly appearing with powers like his? Maybe he's working for The Monarch." Mary's voice startled the group a bit as they had basically forgotten she was there at this point, Joelee pondering what she had said as she definitely had considered that as a possibility but hearing another person suggesting it made her genuinely wonder if he knew more than she realized.

"Maybe you should hit him with that information tonight. Don't let on how you know, though. You never know who Magdalene has looking for us. She has her very expensively manicured nails dug into more people than you realize." Connor muttered rather bitterly, the stubble growing on his face scratching at his palms as he ran a hand over his face wearily, lowering his head rather than looking up at Joelee as he spoke.

"I will. I'll leave early to scope out the area." Joelee nodded firmly, frowning as she realized that Connor looked just as tired as she was. She knew that the memories were starting to take their toll on the older male as he spent more time pouring over the computer archives for a missing woman named Nala that matched the mysterious woman's appearance.

"D-Do you have to go tonight? Can't we send someone else? Like... Your first night didn't exactly go very well and if there is someone just as powerful as Obsidian out there, you could get even more hurt than you already are. Connor and I could go instead." Killian spoke up, sputtering over his words as if he had simply blurted it out without thinking, freckles popping against his skin as his cheeks darkened to red in embarrassment.

"No, I'm going. But I think backup isn't a bad idea. But I need you to patrol in your van in case things go south so it can't be you. You're our getaway driver. As bad of an idea as it may be, I think I'll take Kai if that's alright with you. You may not have powers but you know how to hold your own. I've seen you train and you're... Strong. To say the least." Kai's narrow, deep brown eyes widened as Joelee spoke, having not fully been paying attention previously as he had instead been admiring Sam, their strong willed sprit when they stood up against Andrew being one of the many things he loved about the person he would someday hope to call his partner.

"Me? I can barely bench 320. I'm not strong. I don't have telekinesis or even super strength. Yes, guards are born and bred to be a better and stronger human but... That's basically all that makes me special." Kai's face turned completely red as he rubbed the back of his neck, averting his gaze rather quickly when Joelee gave him a look that showed she definitely disagreed with what he was saying.

"Guards are born with more strength than a normal human, Kai. You're faster, stronger, and smarter than most humans. While you may not have the knowledge of things that others deem simple, not everyone knows mixed martial arts by the age of five. I agree with Joelee that you're the best suited to go out with her tonight. You may not be trained against metas but you can definitely hold you own against them. Your brain works faster than ours... Humans do. You calculate as you're fighting to pick the next best move. Give it a try. You're your own biggest critic." Connor's words caused Kai to look up with a ghost of a smile appeared on the edge of his lips, his gaze seeming more sad now as met Connor's slightly lighter eyes.

"I'll try. But, you give me too much credit. I couldn't even protect my own family." The look on his face told Joelee not to question it further but Sam honestly wasn't the type of person to recognize social cues so they immediately arched their eyebrows as their head whipped into Kai's direction, having previously been staring at Killian in the hopes he would inevitably cave into giving them the information they desired.

"You had kids?! Why didn't you tell me?!" Sam gasped with a dumbfounded expression, looking more annoyed that they didn't know that secret rather than being upset about the information in general.

"No, my lighting. Not that kind of family." Kai didn't look annoyed as his eyes immediately softened when he turned to Sam, smiling a bit at the look of confusion on Sam's face as he admired how cute they actually were to him.

"But aren't you a soldier prototype? You're not allowed to know who your mother and father are. How did you find out who your family was?" Connor faltered as he spoke, not seeming to fully understand the words that were coming out of his mouth. It was almost as if his subconscious knew more than he actually remembered, his face darkening for a moment as he wondered just what else he would uncover as time progressed but his expression immediately went blank as he realized people were looking at him now.

"I still don't know the male that groomed my mother into being with him under the guise that he'd free her, only to allow them to experiment on her when she conceived us. No, you're right. But I knew my sister, Kaia. We were twins." Sam snorted in amusement at the revelation of the name of Kai's sister before their expression went blank as they realized that meant there was a female version of Kai out there somewhere.

"I'm sorry, I feel like we just stumbled on some really juicy drama but also some nasty Monarch stuff. Should we go?" Killian deadpanned as he blinked slowly, trying to wrap his mind fully around the tea that was being spilled at the moment.

"Soldier prototypes were invented by Doctor Banner around fifteen years ago. It was a project that Magdalene intended to negate the amount of families sniffing around the facility when their children, spouses, parents, or so forth, went missing while working within the facility. It was a serum that Banner had tested previously that allowed for a fetus to grow at a rapid rate up until the age that the child entered puberty and the hormones caused the rapid aging to stop, then the child would age rather normally aside from a few problems here and there. It was an extremely effective drug but unfortunately, finding hosts was somewhat of a nuisance as it required a pregnant woman that wouldn't be missed... Considering the pregnancy had a mother fatality rate of around four out of five. So, the guards had a lot more slack to do what they wanted and have relationships with patients within the facility." Connor appeared startled as the words once again escaped him before he could fully react, the male wondering how he even knew that information about The Monarch guards, seemingly mortified by what he had revealed.

"They forced themselves on innocent women all because Magdalene didn't want legal charges?" Joelee's eyes flashed gold as she clenched her fists, Connor immediately turning his hollow gaze onto her as he gave a short nod.

"And men sometimes. They didn't tell the female guards the mortality rate and basically just said that they were allowed to do what they wanted... So... That's why most of the female guards there are now soldier prototypes rather than normal humans. The serum allowed the children to learn rather quickly as they basically aged one year for every month that they were alive. So by the time they hit puberty at twelve or thirteen, they were fully trained in weapons and combat. Not to mention medical training. They were the perfect soldiers at such young ages. They were more capable than the fully grown adults were, even." Connor's words immediately made Joelee growl quietly as she realized just why she had seen guards that looked around her age just walking around the facility. At the time she had assumed that they were around eighteen or nineteen but now she knew that they very well could've been as young as thirteen or fourteen.

"Wait... You're ten years old?!" Sam looked immediately disgusted which caused Kai's face to fall at their words, swallowing heavily as he pondered his words before answering.

"Biologically and mentally, no. I'm really about..." Kai paused as he began to count on his fingers, eyebrows scrunching together in concentration as he pondered just how old he would be.

"Twenty five. I'd be twenty five... Or twenty four... Something like that... Why are you making that face?" Kai's words were soft now as Sam gazed back at him with a frown, face a lot more serious than even the night before when they had talked to Joelee.

"I just... I need to go... Iron... My... Cat. I'll be right back." Sam stood abruptly, quickly turning to make their way from the room which caused Kai to stand as well.

"Wait... Sam... Please!" Kai called as his eyes seemed to water, everyone else watching the exchange rather awkwardly as they had never really seen Sam and Kai be anything but overly affectionate and understanding of each other.

"Just give them time. That's a lot of information, Kai." Joelee took a deep breath to clear her thoughts before she stood and made her way over to the male, the veins retreating as her eyes returned to blue, hesitating before she placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I... I just... I can't help how I was born. I'm still an adult, like you. I've never been treated any differently and I've never known what it meant to be a child in the first place so I don't know why..." Kai trailed off as his heartbeat thudded loudly in his ears, head lowering as he gazed down at the ground with a heartbroken expression.

"It'll take time, Kai. It's a lot to wrap your head around. You were raised around that information, we were not. Just give them time to think." Joelee assured him as she gave his shoulder a gentle squeeze, heart clenching painfully as her eyes seemed to glow a soft red, Kai's thoughts and emotions flooding her senses which almost made her pull away but she composed herself as she took a deep breath.

Kai roughly pulling away startled Joelee as the emotions she was feeling from him immediately dissipated but his frantic thoughts remained pounding against her head.

"I'll go get ready. Don't keep me waiting." Kai's voice was cold now as he walked from the room, Joelee listening to his footsteps as he made his way down into Killian's lab instead of the room that he shared with Sam.

"Guess I need another costume made ASAP." Killian muttered as he also stood to follow Kai while everyone else remained seated, completely shocked by everything that they had heard so far.

"Anybody else got a weird and complicated family dynamic?" Andrew snorted before his face fell as everyone in the room raised their hands.
