(Percy Pov)

    "OK, come on", I say gently. This is the sixth swimming lesson that I've given Alex. She's gotten into the shallow water just not the deep water. She slowly steps towards me, her feet still touching the bottom of the pool. when she's close enough to me, I wrap my arm around her, my hand resting on her hip.  "You ready", I ask her.  "No, not really", she replies obviously afraid.  "Don't worry, I've got you", I tell her. She nods slowly and we slowly walk into the deep end.  "your doing fine, just keep treading", I say still staying close to her.

  Fifteen minutes later and she's still not freaking out, so I slowly go back into the the shallow end. I watch as she takes a deep shaky breath and goes underwater. A few seconds later, I'm tugged forcefully underwater. I break the surface only a second later and I see Alex with the biggest smile I've ever seen on her face.  "I did it Percy", she exclaims. I don't really know what happens but next thing I know I'm kissing Alex. While it's amazing, I don't know if she feels the same way, and quickly pull away.  "Alex I'm uh sorry, I don't know", she cuts me off by kissing me. This time I deepen the kiss pulling her closer, I feel her hands travel to the back of my head and into my hair. We pull away when we cant breath. "Perseus Jackson", I hear someone yell from the door. I yelp and hide behind Alex as Zoe marches towards the pool. Alex is giggling as Zoe begins threatening me.

   "If you ever hurt Alex, Percy I swear to the gods your going to wish you were never born, and not even water will be able to save you when I finished with you", she growls. "yes mam", I say quickly.  "I would never hurt her Zoe. One, I don't think I could. Two I'm afraid of you and her father. Three, her wolf would eat me, and four I love her", I finish now hugging Alex close to me. Zoe's glare softens a bit, but is gone completely when she looks at Alex.  "Congratulations Alex, I know you've liked him for a while now", Zoe says before walking out. I turn Alex to face me, her face now a bright red. "What was that about you liking me for a while", I ask her teasingly. If possible her face gets even redder.  "Um, it was just, I uh", she stutters, I smile. "Your really cute when your embarrassed Alex", I whisper, before kissing her again.  "Did you really mean what you said Percy? Do you really love me", Alex asks when we break apart.

   "Alex, I meant every word I said. I really love you", I tell her. She smiles, "good cause I really love you too", she replies. We both get out of the pool and sit on the edge, our feet in the water. I hold her hand and intertwine our fingers. "lets play a game", I say. "What kind of game", Alex asks. "I want to see how well we know each other, so ask me a question, about you, and see if I can answer it correctly. I'll do the same for you", I explain. "Okay, whats my favorite color", she asks. I smile, "that's a trick question, you have two and they're silver and gold", I answer.  "Whats my favorite color", I ask. "That's easy Percy, It's blue", she replies. "whats my favorite mythical creature", Alex asks. "Hmm that would be Cerberus", I say. "and your before you ask, yours is Pegasus and Arion", Alex says. "did you know Percy, that before my father will let me date anyone, that they have to ask him for permission", Alex asks me innocently. She laughs when she sees the look of horror come across my face. Chaos is VERY protective of Alex.
