(Percy pov)

We trained as a team for a while before Chaos would let us have a mission. Time travels faster here so one earth year is one thousand Chaos years. Chaos made us all partially immortal, like the Hunters Of Artemis, even Ra. Our Mission right now is to find and capture a guy who has been kidnapping and killing people all over his galaxy. After two weeks of tracking we finally find him. As soon as he sees us he takes off running. "Hunter, Angel, do us a favor and shoot", Star says. They do and the rest of us chase after him trying to surround him. It wasn't much of a fight after we caught up with him, we knocked him out rather easily and brought him back to Chaos. There were other missions before, that have been this easy. Over the past thousand years we have saved a lot of lives and a couple of planets. The planets were a little harder of a mission with powerful opponents. People across the universe know now that we are here, protecting them and fighting evil. I just hope that earth has not caught word, and that we will never have to go back there.

Now that our mission is over we all decide to go swimming in the pool out back. We all run and jump into the pool, all but Alex. Shes sitting a little ways away from the pool in a two piece black bathing suit, petting Ra. I don't think much about it, she'll get in when she wants to. We are playing football, on my team is Zoe, Beckendorf, Selina, and Bianica. Luke's team is Ethan, Castor, Michael, and Lee. We play football for about an hour, my team won the game, by two points. I look over and Alex is still sitting away from the pool with Ra.

"come on Alex", I yell. She shakes her head no. I look at the team and they shrug. Not wanting Alex to miss out of the fun any longer, I make the water grab her and pull her into the pull. She screams and gets out of the water as fast as she can. She moves a little away from the pool and brings her knees to her chest, Ra is by her side automatically. The rest of us get out and walk to her. I sit next to her and realize that shes crying, I have never seen her cry. Zoe sits on the other side of Alex. " Alex are you okay", I ask. She shakes her head. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you", I apologize. "It's not your fault, you didn't know", Alex says Shakily. "Didn't know what", I ask. She bits her lip before slowly looking up at me. "that I'm afraid of water", She says. Now that I think about it she usually avoids bodies of water.

"why are you afraid", I ask her gently. She looks like shes debating with herself. "when I was eight I lived on earth and I had this foster father. One day a bunch of his friends came over and they got drunk, really really drunk. I was out in the back yard, where we had a pool. They came outside and I didn't know what they were doing, but they threw me in the pool," she lets out a chocked sob before continuing. " I tried to get out but anytime i would get to the edge they would throw me back into the middle. They were all laughing at me. They threw me too hard once and I hit the bottom of the pool hard enough it broke my arm. I couldn't swim well with both arms, let alone with one. The neighbors finally noticed and called the cops. By the time they got there my lungs were half way filled with water. The police said that it went on for two hours", Alex explains. "So your more afraid of drowning then water", Zoe asks. Alex nods. "I know it's a stupid fear but", I cut her off. "Alex your fear is not stupid your afraid for a good reason, and we are going to help you get over that fear", I tell her. I help her back to her room, Ra by our side the entire way, he follows her into her room. I walk back into mine and change into sleep pants not bothering to put a shirt on.

I wake up to a knock at my door, I open and it's Alex in a pair a dark blue shorts and a light blue tank top. It looks like she just saw a ghost. "Alex are you okay", I ask. She shakes her head no. "Nightmare", I ask already knowing the answer. She nods her head and I pull her into a hug. I leaf her to my bed and we lay down. She cry's a little but not much till she falls asleep. I wrap my arm around her and close my eyes letting sleep take me.
