We all settled down in the living room and conversation started through which we got to know that sonal was doing her masters in physics and arnay was doing BA-LLB integrated course and its his fourth year. In these fourteen years uncle got promoted twice and a sad news that aunty has got diabetes mellitus.

After almost one hour of chatting it was decided that we should eat dinner so elders were asked to continue their conversation and we (sonal ,I and arnay) volunteered to set the table. We went into the kitchen they had prepared a lot it was almost like we were going to eat at a buffet ,number of dishes were there ; arnay started warming the dishes along with sonal while I was setting them on table after almost twenty minutes we called our parents .

Everyone sat on the table to have dinner everyone was saying something while eating but he seemed too quiet since we had arrived ,suddenly sonal interrupted my thoughts by saying varsha do you know arnay still.

Sonal let them eat peacefully-arnay interrupted her,

Which just left me contemplating he still what??

After dinner our parents again started their conversation and we friends our not three of us because arnay was busy in cleaning the kitchen and insisted both of us to talk ,so we went in the room but she got a call so she asked me to wait and went outside .

It was boring to wait so I went to explore the house ; it was nicely constructed like on right side of enterance there was a bedroom first,then to its right was the kitchen and to its right was living room and balcony,on the left side there was another bedroom and again a balcony .

It was nice in the balcony because down on the street there were few people and some dogs while I was busy noticing all the people and dogs down the street, he came and stood by my side. No one said anything ,neither we looked at each other we were just standing side by side.

Did I made you uncomfortable earlier today??-finally he asked

Sort off ,like it was sudden and also I dont like much skinship so I couldnt help but got quite awkward-I replied

Are you still awkward-he asked

No , not now -I assured him; but how did you recognized me ??like its been years-I asked

If you remember then you got a call in the morning which was cancelled by the caller , I had called and when I saw you getting the call I got to know its you-he told me

But how did you got my number -I asked

Dont get me wrong its just that when dad called uncle he asked for your mothers number as my mother wanted to talk to her but because her phone is at repair center uncle gave your number-he said

Oh !! Ok-I said

Then why did you hugged me earlier - I asked

Its just that I saw my bestfriend after fourteen years thats why I hugged you , but dont worry if you dont like I will not do it again -he assured me

Can I ask you something- he said; hmm- I replied

Now you dont wear anklets??-he asked and looked at me for the first time during this whole conversation

I also looked at him , his eyes which are of normal of brown colour but still I found them deep and unique ; anklets?? - I was surprised

Hmm when we were children you were obsessed with them -he said

Ok I do remember that as a child I used to love wearing anklets but its not that I dont like them now its just that i couldn't find the pair which could attract me-I told him

Why did you never called ??- I asked

He again shifted his gaze on the street , then said
at that time only dad used to have a phone and I remember calling you several time after we moved to Bengaluru but as the time passed I felt as if you dont want to talk and I didnt wanted to bother you , so slowly I just stopped calling."
