Heavy winds are blowing outside her window.. The sound of thunder striking the place made shivers run her spine.. It was an extremely cold night and ragini wrapped her arms around her to protect herself from the cold. It's already past 10 and still she couldn't sleep as she's now all alone in her home. Her parents who were out for a marraige function was supposed to return tonight but due to heavy rains all the roads are blocked and they don't have any other option other than staying in nearby hotel for the night leaving poor ragini all alone by herself.. Ragini who doesn't want to worry her parents assured that she'll be safe but in her fifteen years of life this is the first time she's staying alone in her home and she's very afraid and the thunder sounds are worsening her fear..
" don't worry ragu. You are not a kid anymore.. You are fifteen years and you need to overcome these fears.. after all it is just for the night.. Maa and papa will reach tomorrow. until then stay strong" ragini tried to assure herself with a small pep talk and proceeded for bed.
After sometime slowly she dozes off to her beauty sleep..
It's past 12 and raginis sleep gets disturbed by some sound near her ear.. She opens her eyes slowly and was shocked to find a person in front of her.. She opened her eyes wide and was about to switch on the lights for seeing his face but before that the person grabbed her hands tight and pushed her on bed.. Ragini was hell scared and was about to shout but he closes her mouth with his other hand.. Before ragini could understand the situation he moves his face closer to hers and kissed on her cheek. Ragini was shocked to the core and started protesting but the more she protested the more he forces himself on her.. Ragini got panicked to the core and pushed his hands and started fighting with him. She shouted at the top of her voice for some help.. Even though she couldn't see his face she can identify that he's the same age as hers..

At one point ragini lost all her strength and the other person uses the situation and pushes her on the bed.. Ragini was crying accepting her fate when suddenly she felt as if the weight has been lifted from her. She clears her teary vision to see another boy pushing the first boy off her and fighting with him.. Even he seems to be the same age as ragini.. Ragini wanted to help him but she couldn't even get up as she's become so weak that she couldn't get up from the bed.. Slowly her vision started to blur and she faints on her bed.

It's next morning and ragini woke up with the sounds of the birds chirping outside her window.. She slowly gets up but still she feels the weakness in her body.. She slowly started recollecting last night events and gets up with a jerk.. To her utter shock she seemed to be alone without any traces of the other two. She slowly wakes up and started examining the surroundings.. Her room seemed messy
"so it was not a dream.. It was all real"
Ragini falls on the bed with hands on her head.. She couldn't remember anything after the fight.
"who are those two? How did they get in? How did all this happened?"multiple questions kept popping in her mind but none had answers.
Suddenly her eyes fell on her room's window which is opened fully (capable for a person to enter). Now she understood how they entered..
She checked her whole house but couldn't find anything or anyone anywhere.. Even the things were present at the same place.. It's only her room which is messy..
Finally she started getting ready for the day but her mind is occupied only with last night incident.. She was thankful that she got saved by the second person.. Slowly a smile appeared on her lips while thinking about the second boy. At that instant she fell in love with the person who saved her dignity but at the same time she's sad that she couldn't recognize his face.. But she believed that one day she will definitely meet him for sure

A leap of 10 years:
A girl is seen getting ready in front of her mirror. She's seen combing her long beautiful wavy hair and a cute smile played on her lips. She is wearing a torn jean and a long brown crop top. She looked so breathtakingly beautiful.. Yes it's none other than ragini.

After getting ready she stood in front of God's idol with folded hands and closed eyes..
"ganpati ji.. I don't know why but today I feel as if it's an important day of my life.. I feel something big gonna happen but I don't know what it is..  whatever it is please I want your blessings to overcome anything"
With that she wished her mom and dad and left for her work.
She was standing near a pedestrian crossing to cross the road. She started crossing the road with everyone when unfortunately her file falls from her hand and she bent down to collect the papers. Less she knows that the signal changed and vehicles started moving while she's caught in the middle of the road.
Ragini started panicking as she doesn't know what to do.. In fear she closed her eyes tightly.. But she immediately felt a sudden pull of her hands and the next moment she lands on a strong chest..
She slowly opened eyes and is met with a pair of dashing eyes. Yes no guess it's none other than laksh..
The time stopped at that moment as both of them are having a deep eye lock. Ragini felt as if she's getting drowned in his eyes..

After a moment they both realized their position and immediately parts.. Ragini felt very embarrassed..
"Thank you"  she muttered shyly and started moving forward when she heard him call "Ragini"
She was surprised and turned towards him questioning..
" how do you know my name?"
"Don't you remember me ragini?" laksh asked surprised
"sorry I don't" ragini replied with hesitation.
Laksh face brightened with that and said with a smile "I'm the one who saved you from getting molested 10 years back"
With that ragini opened her mouth wide.. She couldn't believe her own ears.. All that she can do was to mutter "You?"
Laksh flashed a heartthrobing smile at her nodding while ragini was still in the shock..
Laksh shook her lightly and she came back to the reality.. Ragini still couldn't believe it
But still she couldn't trust him fully.
"if you are the one then why didn't you contact me all these years? Who are you ? And how can I believe you?"
She's still not sure because she can't believe someone without knowing anything about them.
Laksh released a sigh and said " I know you for past 10 years but I still couldn't able to contact you because I was arrested the very next day for violence. That another guy twisted the story and I landed up in trouble. I couldn't involve you in this mess as it will only question your dignity . I was charged 6 months of prison. My parents are worried about my future so they sent me abroad. You may not have known me but im in the same school as yours. So I kept track of your social media to know about you so that I can contact you once I come back. I reached only last week. "
Ragini was amazed on hearing about what all he had suffered for her. She felt so grateful and her respect for him grew more and more.
All she could do was mutter a simple thank you as she can't express her gratitude in any other words.
Ragini eyes welled up when she said "Thank you and sorry for all the trouble you have been through because me"
Laksh once again flashed his smile and said " hey its k. It's not your fault."
But still ragini had lots of questions in her mind regarding that night but she chose to ignore as she doesn't want to sound as if she's doubting sacrifices.
She made up her mind and flashed her beautiful smile to him and said" so if you really don't think that I'm responsible for your suffering then will you accept my friendship ? "
She forwarded her hand with a hope in her eyes.
Laksh was quite taken aback by her sudden proposal but then he smiled and joined hands with her accepting her friendship.
From there started a beautiful friendship of two souls who are not aware of the obstacles and twists they are gonna face in future.
Days passes and raglak became so close that they started meeting daily after their work.. They spent their day with shopping, movies etc. They were having the golden days of her life.. Ragini who was having a mild crush on him at the age of fifteen is now head over heels in love with him. At first it was just a crush but now after knowing about him fully her love and respect for him grew more and more.
She was still not sure about his feelings but anyhow she decided to propose him but before that there are some things which she wanna clear from her side.
One evening both raglak met each other at their usual spot after their work. Since the climate was pleasant ragini proposed to have a coffee with him and also decided to clear her doubts.
She got on laksh bike and is having a lovely journey with her hands on his shoulder. Both had a brief eyelock through the side mirror whenever there's a chance and slow blush crept on her cheeks.
Once they reached the coffee shop they ordered their coffee and was having random talks.
Suddenly ragini asked about the person who tried to molest her as till now she's not aware of who it is. Laksh body gets tensed on hearing it and ragini panicked.
" did I ask something wrong" ragini questioned with worry evident in her voice
Laksh smiled hesitantly and said " no nothing like that. It's just that it was a bad memory which I'm trying to forget. So whenever I hear about it I feel quite nervous"
" O I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. It's just that I feel curious about the person who did it to me and why did he do that. It's k if you don't like then don't want to say ." ragini replied guilty
After a brief moment laksh continued staring at a blank place.
" he loved you"
"what?"
" yeah he's my friend who loved you from our school days. He is your secret admirer. That day he was drunk and was not in his control. I tried to stop him but he doesn't listen to me and left to your home after hitting me. That's why I came to your house and as expected he was forcing on you. And you know the rest of the story "
He paused and ragini doesn't know what to say
Then after a while she asked"wha.. what's his name"
Laksh moved his eyes to her and stared it and said "SANSKAR"
Few days passes :
Ragini finally decided to propose laksh tomorrow as it was his birthday. The whole night she couldn't sleep. She was planning various things for her love.
Next day morning she took permission from her office as she wanted to surprise him with her sudden visit.
She was jumping like a teenager going to meet her crush.. She was walking on a path surrounded by trees when all of a sudden a person appeared in front of her. She was startled and was taken aback. Her hands immediately went inside her bag to clutch her pepper spray . She was carrying it ever since that night incident. She asked him while covering her fear " who are you?"
The guy smirked at her and said "it's me sanskar"
On hearing it the blood drained her face she started taking back slow steps
" you.. Don't you dare come near me. Don't think that I'm as weak as before"
Saying so she started moving in fast pace when suddenly her legs came onto halt on hearing the words that came out of his mouth.
" so you will not face me but will be friends with the person who tried to molest you?"
Ragini slowly turned towards him with fear evident in her eyes..
"who.. Whom ur talking about? What are you saying?"
" yeah I'm saying about laksh. I saw you both in coffee shop.. He's the one who tried to molest you"
Ragini felt as if the ground beneath her started shaking. The only thing she was able to mutter was "LAKSH"
