It's been a day and Neil took Avni back to home after getting discharged from Hospital. She didn't spoke a word and Neil wanted to ask her badly but he didn't want to give any pressure to her.

He asked Madhavi Tai to make her dinner and went to his room and find her nowhere. He suddenly saw some smoke from his porch and saw Avni in the garden while burning something. He left to Garden and saw her burning her Birthday dress which he brought for her.

"Avni... " He called her while she turned towards him.

" I said right Neil... I never celebrated my birthday... See what happened when I wanted to celebrate one....Its just a curse on me Neil.....I don't deserve to be happy.... You will never understand it.... And hereafter don't think of doing anything for me... " She said coldly and  while he hold her hand and turned while her back was facing him.

"You deserve to be Happy Avni... Trust me.. " He said while she turned to look at him.

"I don't... " She said again looking straight into his eyes.

"You do! " He said to her looking into her eyes.

"I DON'T.. " She nearly yelled at him breathing heavily.

While he came near her and cupped her face softly while her eyes gets teary.

"You do Avni.. " He said in a low tone and hugged her while she struggled in her arms.

"I don't neil... Why don't you understand... What do you know ah?...You don't know anything....You are just making me angry...Dont do this...." She struggled pushing him way while he just hugged her tightly.

He didn't responded but still waited for her to get calm down first. After that he broke the hug and looked at her.

" Yeh sab chodo... Come... It's cold outta here... Your health is important right now and not anything else... " He took her inside and made her sit on the bed in their room.

Madhavi Tai came in with the dinner and placed on the bed.

"See I made your favorite Poha... " She said to lighten her mood while Avni looked at her.

" I know...you can never say NO to Poha... That's why I made it today... " She said while she looked at the Poha and started eating it.

Neil noticed something on her hand. It's all red on the back of the hand as like it's a allergy. He was confused and then looked at Avni.

Madhavi Tai suddenly noticed it.

" Avni... Phirse yeh.. "She hold her hand and saw it. Avni took her hands away looking here and there.

" It's not the same... It's nothing... " She said and looked away.

" I am done with eating... " She said and kept the bowl back.

" Avni... Don't do like this...Eat a little more... " Madhavi Tai said to her.

"Then Don't talk about anything and let me eat in peace... " She said while Madhavi Tai just nodded and remained silent.

Later on

Neil came down looking for Madhavi Tai and found her in Kitchen.

"Tai... " He called her while she turned and looked at him.

"What happened to Avni?... Like this allergy kind of thing.. " He asked her.

"Avni used to have these red spotes long back like... Avni once told me that Whenever she gets anxious about something... She used to wash her hands harshly to calm her down and it's nothing serious.... But now she is telling me it's not the same... Like what happen to her?... Is she okay Neil? " She asked him while he looked at her who is so worried.

"She is fine Madhvi Tai... Don't worry... I am there na... I will take care of her... " He said with a smile assuring her while she nodded and left to her home.

It's been an hour or more.

Neil came back home and saw her sitting on the bed looking outside the window. He came near her and sat on the bed in front of her while she was still looking outside being lost into her thoughts.

He slowly moved his hands towards her and hold her hand taking her hands into his making her look at him.

He took out the ointment which he asked her bodyguard to buy. Avni took her hands away.

"It's fine.. " She said looking away.

"It's not... " He said to her and hold her hands again. While she just tried to take her hands away but he hold it tightly

" Can you please stay still..?.... For me?.. " He said to her while she just looked at him.

"For me... Please... " He said to her and took the ointment and started applying it gently on the back of her hands.

She was looking at him all the while her eyes become teary. She don't know why she is falling weak infront of him.

He kept the ointment aside and moved closer to her. His one hand cupped her cheeks looking into her eyes.

"I know it's hard for you... I can understand it's paining you so much... I may don't know what is that ... Or what happened or anything... But just know that... I am here for you... I am not gonna ask anything... If it makes you feel all the pain again... But just don't bottle up your emotions Avni... Like this... Don't hurt yourself.. Like this " He told her and said those last sentence looking at her hands while tears made out her eyes.

She never cried in front of everyone but with him she wanted to cry her heart out. Neil caressed his thumb on her cheeks and moved closer to her and kissed her forehead. While she closed her eyes silently breaking down in his arms.

He then gently pull her into a hug, keeping her close to his heart.

"Why... Why.... Are.. You doing... This... To... Me? " Her words gets scattered asking him. He broke the hug and just looked at her

"I don't wanna get attached... Or else I will start depending on you every single time... " She said after wiping her tears and looked straight into his eyes.

Even though how much ever his words were comforting to her. She is afraid.. She is afraid whether she will get attached and get her heart broken again. She is afraid to accept love and comfort from him fearing it will only remain short term. She doesn't want her Neil, her love and happiness get snatched away again like her parents.

There was a complete silence between them. And they were looking at each other.

" You said you love me Avni?...Then why can't you .." Before he could speak, she interrupted. He was confused as like if she loves him then why can't she gets depends on him. Why don't she gets emotional support from him. He was not asking her to depend entirely on him, But he wants to stay by her side. He couldn't able to see her like this. It pains his heart seeing her going through so much. But he can't able to do anything.

"But you don't love me na Neil " She told him and they were just looking at each other.
