Neil's effort didn't go vain. They have now become friends and Neil was so happy with his improvement as like he achieved something big in his life. Its not like they never had fight with each other these days but indeed it has become less.  Their life is balanced with work as well spending some time with each other. They started to talk daily at night times and it was like rountine and Neil selflessly have conversation with her to make sure that he gain her trust for her to open up herself. Avni loves those times, Seeing him blabbering about anything be it the cartoon he likes or the mischievous thing he did during his collage days or anything. She just listen to him speaking. By this, She started to understand his point of view too which helped her to listen whenever they have an argument.

Once a day

Avni entered the room after having dinner and throughout the journey they had am argument over their office work. They had made a huge blunder in the presentation which made Avni totally go crazy. She just bursted out on the employees seeing it. And they had an argument over that since then. She quickly went to get freshen up and shut the door with thud making him realise that she is pissed.

She came back with sometime and saw him already freshen up and he was standing near the porch leaning on the door,crossing his arms as like waiting for her. By seeing her, he started to move near her.

"Wait!... If you want to still continue arguing with me.. Don't talk to me! " She said looking at him strictly denying him to start again.

"Okay!!.. I have no mood to talk to you either.. " He twisted his lip and went to porch taking his pillow from the bed.
Her face expression changed when he said that as they have night conversation and he knows she likes it in fact he likes it too.

Avni was looking at him who settled on the couch and lyed facing against her. He smiled remembering her change of expression. She got up from the bed and went near him.

"Somebody told me to keep a distance between personal and profession work " She shouted standing near the couch.

Neil turned and looked at her and got up to sitting position. He saw her glaring at him.

"Yesss I said!... But we are arguing for something which is really unnecessary... I just trying to say only one thing... " Before he could complete, She again spoke.

"That I made a mistake.. That I shouldn't have shouted at them like that... Neil.. That's not something small mistake.. How can just change the whole concept of it..." She started speaking non stop explaining herself but not as argument.

"Hogaya??.. Ya aur kuch kehna hai? " He asked while Avni again started speaking.

" After seeing that i couldn't able to control myself.., I just couldn't... I don't know why.. May be I am like that... And everyone in the office knows I am a flury person... Who has anger issues.. " She said and left deep breath.

"Done? " He asked while Avni pouted and nodded and stood up from the couch and hold her by her shoulder and moved her backwards and made her to sit on the bed.

He moved near the table and poured a glass of water and gave it to her while she gulped some. She gave the glass back to him and wipes her mouth like a kid and was just looking at him.

"I listen to you right?... " He asked her while she nodded like a kid.

"And I understand what you are trying to say... That they made a mistake and you got angry seeing it.. " He summarized in two lines.

"Exactly! " Avni said while Neil chuckled.

"Okay... Now listen what I trying to say... I accept that they made a mistake... And you got angry which is also acceptable okay... But what you showed is enragement... Like an extreme version of anger... From that they never learn from their mistakes.. Of course they will be aware of what they are doing from now and try to avoid it, fearing you... But Avni.. They have life outside our office and don't you think it will affect that too... I am not saying that you getting angry is wrong... Yeahh its right... Because we knows how important that deal is... I am saying that how you reacted today got over board today.... " He slowly make her understand in her way as like he is making a kid to understand. While Avni gave a thought to what he said. He saw her sitting silent.

"What are you thinking? " He asked her while she didn't looked at him.

"I understand what you said.. That I over reacted.. " She said slowly like a kid who finally realized what she did while Neil smiled widely.

"But... " She looked at him while Neil furrowed his brows waiting for her to continue further.

" But.. I couldn't control!.. Default type! " She twisted her lips while Neil hmm-ed in response.

"Hmm.." He said trying to think of something.

"Fine!!.. From now on we gonna learn how we should control ourselves.. " He stood up from the bed saying while Avni looked at him in horror.

"Tum rehne hi dho... I know how we will end up in this...Already Madhavi Tai commented that we are like Tom and Jerry .." She said and got up from the bed.

"Yess we are Tom and Jerry only... But did you realize.. Tom ke bina.. Jerry adhura hai.. And Jerry ke bina tom.. And same applies to us as well.. " He said blocking her way.

"Haha not so funny! " She said looking at him and about to go but Neil again blocked her way.

"I got an idea.. " He said and Avni opened her mouth to say something but Neil pulled her made her lean on the wall and just kept his finger on her lips shhh- ing her.

"Shhh... " He said and they were looking at each other. They were so close that their breath was fanning against each other. Avni's heart started beating heavily and her eyes stucked on his. Her body loosens and they just drowned into each other.

"You trust me right? "He asked her while Avni looked at his eyes.

" H... Haa.. "She stammered while Neil just realized how close they are and now he started drown into her eyes. But suddenly he moved away from her and turned away in a go and let a deep breath controlling himself while everything came back to sense to Avni and she looked at him.

Neil turned and looked at Avni who was already looking at each other. He didn't care but hold her hand and pulled her closer and they stood in front of the mirror while Neil was standing behind her while Avni looked at him in the mirror while Neil was doing the same. Their was complete silence and Neil can hear her already increased heart beat.

His hand moved while unintentionally making a contact through her hand and he hold her right hand and placed on the left shoulder and her left hand to the right shoulder, crossings it and he was holding her hand still.

"Close your eyes Avni... " He whsiperes in her ears while Avni did the same as he told while he was only looking at her.

"Just take a deep breath... " He instructed while she did the same.

"Just exhale... "

" Count with me... 1..2..3..."

"Again inhale... "

"Exhale... " She did everything he told and he still holding her hand which is crossed.

"Whenever you feel you couldn't control... Just do this... " He said and moved a step backward taking his hand away from her . Avni opened her eyes when she miss his presence behind her.

She quickly turned to see him standing three steps away from her. They were just looking at each other.

" Hmm...I...I ...will just go for a walk in garden" He said looking at her and quickly went.

He reached down and cursed himself.

"How can you just pull her Neil... What she might think of me... You could have just explained what you gonna do... But no... You have just pulled her and made her lean against the wall as like she is some toy to you... Argh!.. You are a idiot! " He said walking here and there while Avni stood on the porch and saw him walking down there.

The Next Day

Neil walked towards the Meeting Room as Avni called everyone for meeting. He over heard staffs talking about her while walking.

"Is she again gonna roast us ??... " Said one of them.

"Ofc!! Is there any doubt?.. We haven't submitted the draft copy yet!... Let's prepare ourselves for today! " Said another sighing.

Neil entered the Meeting Room and sooner everyone gathered. Avni then entered.

" So.. " She just played the Side in the projector which has the detailed information about the project.

She just explained everything about it and also pin pointed what made them to misinterpret the concept. She made it clear for them.

"I think everything is clear... And I don't want this mistake to be repeated again... If you have any doubts you can ask now " She sat on her seat looking at everyone.

"And if you have any doubts about any projects.. We can plan a meeting so that we can work together accordingly.. " She added further and looked at the file.

A smile crept on Neil's face seeing her. He admired her lovingly by seeing what she did. By sensing a strong gaze Avni then looked at the side and saw Neil staring at her. She gave a smile and then made a stern face looking at everyone. Neil chucked at her antics.

Later at Night.

After their dinner, Neil was still sitting on dining hall and chuckled seeing her. Avni looked at him hearing his chuckling sound.

"What?! " She asked with her eyebrow raised.

He sat straight and looked straight making a stern face.

"And if you have any doubts about anything.. We can plan a meeting so that we can work together accordingly" He thought to tease her by imitating her, speaking like her with her body gesture while Avni looked at him with widen eyes glaring at him. Neil started laughing seeing her face.

"Stop it! " She said while he was still laughing making fun of her

"Neil! " She stood up from her seat giving him a dead glare while he also stood up and started running from there to escape from beatings.

She started to chase him and they were running around the house like a kid. She throw the pillow from the couch which landed straight on his face.

"Her target never get miss! " He sulked when the pillow hit on his face and again started running to their room.

"Neil.. Rukho! " She said running upstairs.

Neil was standing on the room with a pillow on his hand as a defense while She entered the room limping while Neil looked at her. She slowly sat on the couch and hold her ankle.

"Ahh.. " She hissed in pain.

"Avni.. Kya hua? " He asked moving towards her keeping the pillow on the bed.

"Sab tumhari vajase.  I got sprained! " She complained like kid while he sat on his knees with a worried face.

While avni hold his ears.

"Caught you! " She said while Neil looked at her in horror as this 'Drama Queen' side of her is very new to him. He literally fall into her acting as it felt so real.

"This is cheating! " He said twisting his lips cutely.

"You are making fun of me?! " She asked him changing the topic.

"Yess!!.. I made fun of the Great Avni Khanna" He said while Avni left his hear when she heard 'Avni Khanna ' from him which actually made her feel contented

Neil taking this chance to escape but Avni hold his hand and made him lean on the wall. She kept her right hand on the wall blocking his way and she moved close to him. All happened in Nick of time that Neil couldn't able to react it. When he came back to sense , he was already under the control of Avni.

"Avni Neil Khanna is so dangerous!.. Usse panga math lo! " She said snapping her finger like a don while Neil just lost into her. He was literally admiring her eyes, her gaze moved towards her sharp nose and then her lips and her mole which perfectly completes her.

"Samjhe? " She asked him while his trance broke and he nodded looking at her. She moved away with a wide smile while Neil just took a deep breath as he was controlling himself all this while.
