"You are nothing but a burden on US! ...." Someone cursed a girl who was crying so badly.

"Chachi.. I... I... " Her voice were fully breaking and her eyes were all puffy and she just tried to spoke.

"Shut Up! ... And just get back to your work! "  She shouted glaring at her while she wiped her tears in fear.

When she left. She broke down completely. Her cheeks had a finger print of her Chachi's hand. And she slowly caressed her cheeks and closed her eyes as she feels the pain.

Avni woke up with a jolt after having a nightmare. The Reality which is haunting as a Nightmare. Her hands were literally shivering as like she experienced that incident now. She caressed her cheeks feeling it as real. She picked pitcher and filled the glass with water and gulped it in a go.

Her gaze then shifted to Neil and looked at him who was sleeping in the couch. She then went near him, looking at him. She then left from there to the porch. She took a deep breath. There was no moon on the sky. The sky is as dark as her life. She was wearing a black maxy and everything around her was dark.

She sat on the chair resting her head on the chair looking at the sky. She was remembering what happened at the office today.

"Because he is my father... He is my family Avni... "

"Fine!... I won't charge anything ... For you ... Because you are my family..."

Whenever Neil says about Family, her heart long for her to be included in his family. She never ever wanted a family. Even she distanced herself with Madhavi tai who took care of her like a daughter. She never in need of anyone untill she met him.

She wanted him not just because he is handsome and good looking. The way he made her feel made her to stick onto him. She felt the connection with him. No one in these years made her feel like that. He was himself whenever he was with her. He was never good with her because she is rich. Avni saw many people like that who wanted to be with her just because she is beautiful and Rich and Avni never failed to teach them a lesson. All this while she worked hard so that she don't have a need to bend down to People. She made Money so that she can buy anyone or anything. She worked hard like crazy to make her Father's name proud, to fulfill his dreams. She never wished anything, she worked, worked and worked at the periods when everyone was busy in enjoying their life.

Neil stirred in sleep and got up feeling thirsty and he saw the bed was empty and was confused. He had some water and found the porch door which is opened. He just walked towards it and saw her sitting there.

Avni suddenly felt his presence and she opened the eyes. She didn't turned while he walked further and stood behind her. Avni changed her face into a bold one again as like wearing a mask not showing her vulnerable state.

She stood up and turned looking at him. Everything seems dark around her except him. He is wearing White shirt as like a moon which gonna light up her life.

"What are you doing here? "Avni asked him.

" I got up to have some water and found you nowhere so I came here.. " He replied her. He was looking at her and was feeling like something is wrong.

"Why are you sitting here? " He asked her with a confused face.

"I ain't feeling sleepy " She said still looking at him.

"Are you thinking of what I have told you? " He took a pause before asking her and just asked her in a go.

"About what? The charges?. Huh!!... That money is nothing for me.... " She said chuckling and moved forward towards him.

"Its just that I didn't want to go things easy... Avni Mehta never go easy on anyone! " She said looking into his eyes.

"But Avni Neil khanna wants to go easy on things I guess... " She said while Neil was just looking at her when she said that. He realized that she agreed only for him. He don't know what to say to her. They were just looking at each other and Avni expected him to say something. Betrayed by her expectation that is seeing him silent, Avni started moving in.

Neil was just standing there feeling something in his heart. He started getting hopes that he can get his Avni back. The Avni, he knows. He want to make efforts to understand her. He was ready to do that from the day when he saw her in vulnerable state. From that time he knows she was hiding something from him. To be honest, She didn't hide anything, she just never opened up anything. But still he was hesitated to take that first step forward because Avni really make him confuse by her behavior but now he just gained a little confidence.

By thinking of everything he moved in.

"One more thing! " She said while Neil stopped and looked at her whose back was facing him.

She turned and looked at him.

" I did that for you. But don't expect me to be the same for everything. I am sure you will be disappointed"  She said sternly and her face adorned a simple smile as like warning him before hand not to expect anything from her. Neil gave a blank face and just walked towards her.

"You really make me confuse Avni. Really!!!!. At sometimes you behave as like I mean a world to you and other time you just act cold towards me. Like I mean nothing to you. Not today, every time you do this. That day too when I asked about you.... You just left like you didn't even care to tell me about you " He said to her while Avni chuckled.

"I already told you about that. But I don't mind repeating myself 1000 times for you. You are my everything Neil....YOU ARE JUST MINE" She said to him and stressed the last sentence.

"And again about me, I don't have anything to say. " She said while he sighed hearing her.

"Have a good sleep! " She said cupping his face with a smile and just went near her bed and lay down covering herself with duvet.

"Whatever Avni... But I will try my best to know the real you... And you can't stop me this time. How much ever you wanna confuse me, I don't care. But this time I won't step backward " He said with full of confidence and determination.
