At evening

Neil was standing on the porch while he felt someone presence and turned his head to see find her. She wrapped her hand around his arm and just kept head on his arm while he was only looking at her.

"Had a good sleep? " He asked her while she lifted her face hearing him.

"Yessss" She replied looking at him.

" Ofc you would have..... After all..you have taken the sleeping pills... " He said  to her and his eyes asking for an answer. She understood what he was trying to ask her.

"So... " She replied crossing her hands across her chest. Before he could speak she again spoke.

"It's my choice that I have taken that.... " She said and about to go while he hold her by arm stopping her.

Avni turned to see him.

"I want to know ... " He said looking at her eyes and took back his hand from her.

Avni turned completely and moved closer to him while he moved back and his back hit on the railing.

"There is nothing you need to know... " She said and again started walking inside their room.

While Neil followed her and pulled her while she crashed against his chest.

"Wow!!... Just wow Avni... You know everything about me.... But Me?... I have no idea who you are!! ....i only talked about me when we were friends...Even when I asked you...You just shrugged off " He spoke to her.

"Well... Then listen.... I am Avni Neil Khanna..... Wife of Neil Khanna....The one and only Queen of Mehta Industries. " She said looking straight into his eyes.

"I don't have a life history that I can talk about... " She said and shrugged his hands and left from there.

"Huh... How stupid I am ..to even think she will say everything to me if I ask... " Neil blabbered to himself.

" Jo chaiye kuch bhi ho jaye.... I will know  everything about you Avni.... You are not who, you are showing... " Neil said determined.

The Next day

Avni got all ready to go to office as she has an important meeting today. She saw Neil who was still sleeping. She went near him and sat on the glass table infront of him. She moved her hand and caressed his hairs. She was admiring him lovingly.

"How cute! " She said looking at him smiling widely.

"I am going to office And I will miss you. See you soon " She said and got up to leave while she unintentionally hit her injured hand on the table.

"Ahh! " She hissed in pain and he shot open his eyes.

Avni looked at him while he woke up from the couch and pulled her hand to see. He saw the wound which is slightly bleeding.

"Didn't you changed? " He asked looking at band aid. While she smiled.

"How can I change with my only hand...Its your duty to do for your wife.." She teased him while he took away his hand hearing her.

"Go and sit! " He said in order tone and went to fetch the first aid box. He saw her still standing in the place.

"Didn't you hear me? " He asked her raising his brow.

"Make me sit... Like you did yesterday... " She said blinking her eyes cutely while he looked at her and sighed.

"Should I change your band aid or not? " He said still not giving up.

"No... You don't have to do it... " She said not going easy for him. Neil kept the box on the side table near the bed and went near her.

He hold her and dragged her towards the bed and made her sit without speaking a word. He itself don't know why he is doing that. But he couldn't stop himself.

Avni smiled and was looking at him who was doing the aid. After when he was done. He stood up closing the box while Avni too stood up and hugged him making Neil startled. He didn't hugged her back

"See you soon " She said closing her eyes inbetween the hug. She moved away giving a bright smile to him and left to work.

At Evening

Avni came home and straightly went to their room and saw him sitting on the porch all curled up like a ball. He was thinking about them. Thinking about Avni. Thinking about how he gonna understand her.

"Neil... " She sat beside him on the swing and his trance got broken. She stretched a phone in front of him.

"This is for you... " She said giving him a new phone.

" You know how much I missed you today... " She said like a typical working wife while he looked at her and the phone. She hold his hand and gave the phone.

" And yess... Before planning anything I would like to remember you... The calls can be traced.. " She said to him while he looked at her. He then hold her hand and gave the phone back.

"I don't need this... " He started to move in all upset. She followed him.

"You have to take this..... " She said stopping him.

"If you have that much doubt that I do plotting against you...then why are you giving this to me? " He asked her turning to face her.

"Even if you want to... You can't do anything and I know that very well... " She said confidently.

"If you know that then why you are doubting me Avni... " He said to her.

"Nope Neil... I was warning you and that's it! " She said keeping the phone on his hand and left to get freshen.

Later on

After the dinner, they reached home. Neil was standing on the porch lost into her words.

"Even if you want to... You can't do anything and I know that very well"

"I was warning you and that's it!"

"Aren't you feeling sleepy? " She asked him standing beside him.

"Why it has to be like this Avni? " He asked her not looking at her. While she furrowed her brows in confusion. He looked at her who was silent and saw confusion on her face.

"Why everything ended up like this?" He asked her , looking at her eyes.

"Because it's me who wished to go things the way I want... " She replied in a go. He looked at her spell bounded.

"What's that mean?... So am I not considerable? " He asked her in hurt. His eyes turned moist. Avni was looking at him trying to read his emotions. She couldn't able to stand tears in his eyes.

"Answer me Avni.... " He hold her arm gently seeking for an answer. It was something he wanted to ask her for very long time.

Why?... Why?... Why it has to be like this?... Why nothing happened as he wished?... Not only this but everything that happened with his life. It's more like Others lived his life not him. From The Course he took for his higher secondary to the collage he studied. To the career he wanted to build and even Riya, everything was chosen by his Dad. And now Avni chose to be his wife. It's not like he never felt for her, he did feel for her. But he wasn't ready for anything. Everything happened that day was still like dream for him.

He knows he can never be happy marrying Riya. But still, He feels tired of everything.

Avni cupped his face seeing his tears. Her eyes gets soften.

"Neil..what are you even saying?... You are my everything Neil... My everything... You can never understand that... Because you have everyone .... My presence or absence won't affect you and other hand it's me to whom you means alot to me... " Her voice was low and there was pain behind her words.

The word 'My Everything' just soothing to his longing heart. He don't know why he felt that way. He felt like at last he belongs to someone.

"I can't afford to lose you... At any cost!Yes, What you are thinking about me is Right!. I am Selfish!" Her voice came back to form, a bold and Obssessive one. She then left from there leaving him confused again.

He looked at her disappearing while her words rang on his ears.

"My presence or absence won't affect you and other hand it's me to whom you means alot to me"

"I can't afford to lose you"
