Ignore mistakes, please

Third person P.O.V

Jungkook licked his lips when the police officer marched inside his house with the doctor/ scientist tailing behind them, without giving him any chance to say anything.

"What do you mean?? What are you talking about?" Finally, he couldn't stay silent anymore when the police officer was about to walk forth into the living room.

A police officer turned to him and showed him a phone with some video playing over that. Jungkook frowned before taking the phone in his hands, eyes going wide as the scene played in front of his eyes, making his throat dry. 

"I think this is enough to tell you why we are here. Someone reported us with this proof. This person is supposed to be here with you and is definitely a living threat to society, that's why we are here to take him to a place where he should be kept." Jungkook blinked in horror, his biggest fear came true.. the thing that was bugging him since last night.

He gazed back at the screen that was showing only Taehyung in rage from last night.. luckily only he and Taehyung with that stupid girl was in the video.

"Now, if you let us see your place." Police officers were ready when the one who was kind of leading them asked Jungkook.

"Y-you can't just take him. Th- this is not true. And what do you mean by threat?" Jungkook stuttered, trying to defend themself, but deep down, he was feeling dreadful.

"You can see Mr. Jeon, he was threatening that girl behind you. You can definitely see that, though you were present that time too." The police officer said sternly with a cocked brow.

"He was kind of- showing his-"

"Anger? Violence? We are here to take him for that Mr. Jeon." The police officer cut him short nonchalantly and gestured for his underlings to search for the boy in the house.

Jungkook's eyes followed each of them in horror.

"Hey! You can't do that.. this- this is wrong!" Jungkook accused in a high voice.

"We have official orders, Mr. Jeon. There is definitely something wrong with this person, and it's not safe."

Jungkook shook his head and was about to say something in defense but his words stuck again as he saw one officer harshly opening his bedroom, where Taehyung was passed out.

He quickly rushed to the side where the officer peeked through the door.

"He is here Sir!"

The other officer nodded his head and followed Jungkook who wanted to go to Taehyung and scoop him in his arms to save him from every person in the house. He did that, running to the bed and quickly grabbing the limp body of the brunet, bringing him closer to his chest, in a very protective manner.

"Mr. Jeon, let him go. Don't make it difficult for yourself." The officer rubbed his nose bridge, feeling kind of frustrated by the other's stubborn behavior.

Jungkook shook his head and brought the other more closely to himself. Mind running wild to make some sensible reasons for what Taehyung did last night.

"Listen please, he is normal and what he did yesterday was just.. a magic trick. He wasn't intending to hurt anyone and he didn't hurt." Jungkook protested, trying his best to keep his voice calm and low.

"He was about to hurt her. The way his hair turned brown when he fell on you, his eyes, they are the proofs that he isn't a normal person Mr. Jeon."

"But you can't just take him away!" Jungkook seethed, through gritted teeth, his blood boiling at the accusation about the innocent male in his arms.

Senior officer sighed and again gestured to two officers, they quickly walked to Jungkook who was sitting on the edge of the bed with one knee on the mattress while the other leg supported him on the floor, Taehyung on his chest.

"DON'T!" Jungkook snapped when two officers tried to snatch the unconscious merman from his grip.

"Mr. Jeon, as I said before don't make it difficult for yourself, let us do our work and you be a civilized person and follow the law." The officer deadpanned on Jungkook. The doctors also wore thick gloves and now Jungkook noticed that all of them were wearing those thick gloves.. maybe they were afraid of directly touching his innocent boy.

Jungkook struggled a lot in the grip of two officers and at last, they succeeded in snatching the merman away from his hands, cold body leaving his warm hands.

"No! Please don't do this. He is- he is innocent. Why you aren't listening to me? He didn't do anything wrong!"

Jungkook protested again, struggling in the grip of the buff officer as he saw two males dragging Taehyung to the door and doctors walking to him to see his condition.

"We are done, Mr. Jeon. Don't worry, we will keep him at the place he belongs." With that the officer turned on his heels, ready to leave after the doctors muttered something in his ear. One officer was still gripping hard on Jungkook's both hands behind his back, one arm stopping his any kind of movement.

"LEAVE HIM! I SAID LEAVE HIM!!" Jungkook screamed as two officers picked up Taehyung and were walking to the main door.

"Behave Mr. Jeon. Let us do our work, please. This person can be a threat to yourself too, try to understand. He doesn't belong here. We have to find out many things about him and that's for our betterment." The senior officer said in his dead serious tone but Jungkook wasn't calming down any moment.

He can't just see them taking his innocent bean away from him. God knows what they were planning to do on his petite frame. The thought made him struggle more and finally, the officer behind him let go of his hands and also walked to the main door.

Jungkook was panicking about what to do but then his eyes fell on his phone. He quickly grabbed that and speed dialed Jin's contact while running back to the officer who was picking up Taehyung bridal style, after all the other was light in weight.

He stopped the officer with a bold move, almost snatched back Taehyung from his grip until another officer pushed him harshly and he fell back on the floor, his back hitting the corner of the table placed there, a yelp of pain left his lips.

"I am giving you a warning Mr. Jeon. Don't be a hurdle in our work or you have to face the consequences." The senior officer threatened him with a scowl.

Jungkook bit his lip feeling his eyes stinging, due to physical but more mental pain. It is really the end of his sweet love story? He didn't even do anything, couldn't get the chance to show the merman how much he loves him, then why?

"Please, he is not well. Don't do it, officer. Please." Gulping down the urge to cry out in distress. he practically begged them but the officer didn't bother and again pivoted on his heels only to stop again when they all heard a growl and a scream from the officer who was holding Taehyung.

They all turned to see the now blue-haired boy with his half-opened eyes, staring at only Jungkook who was still on the floor, with teary eyes.

When Taehyung suddenly opened his totally blue eyes and his hair turned blue, the officer dropped him in horror.

Taehyung was breathing heavily, his steps were heavy when he walked towards Jungkook, kneeling in front of his human and stretching his hand to wipe Jungkook's tears.

Taehyung tilt his head to the side, a frown forming on his forehead noting how Jungkook was looking at him with a fearful expression.?

"Don't cry." Taehyung softly said as he wiped the next tears as well. Jungkook felt himself melting under the touch of cold hands, eyes still boring at the beautiful merman in front of him who was still caring for him even when he, himself was the one in pain.

The moment was interrupted when Jungkook saw one of the officers pointing a tranquilizer at Taehyung's neck. He wanted to do something but seemed very late as the dart pierced through the dry skin of the other.

But to the surprise of all, Taehyung's eyes become dark. With gritted jaw, the merman removed the dart from his skin and turned back to give a death glare to the officer who was holding the gun.

The said officer stepped back in utter horror and all others had the same expressions. Taehyung's eyes turned more brighter when he stepped forward.

"STOP! STOP THIS INSTANT!" The senior officer yelled at Taehyung when he was walking forth without tearing his gaze from the former officer who shot him.

"Tae." Jungkook mumbled, dreading that the merman was exposing himself way too much, definitely a very big mistake at the moment. He quickly get up on his feet and was about to step forward when Taehyung turned back on his voice.

"Why he isn't fainting? Is the drug not working on him?" Doctors said to each other.

Officers were definitely afraid of what they were witnessing with their eyes.

"Stay away Mr. Jeon!" One of the officers shouted as Jungkook tried to move near Taehyung but of course, he ignored that, but to his dismay, he was again pushed back by another officer this time and that's it...

Jungkook's eyes widened when Taehyung let out a very loud growl with his eyes turning deep blue instead of bright ones, his hair started flying in the air and his hands turned into fists, giving out the aura to scare everyone. 

Screams erupted from the throats of all others when water came out of the doors, from the water jug that was placed on the dining table, and from the water dispenser that was placed on a stool near the kitchen.

Jungkook stepped back in disbelief when that water started twirling and twisting, forming a rope-like form, and gathered around the officer who pushed him a moment ago.

The officer screamed as water started wrapping around his body, rather harshly.

"W-what is he?"

"What is h-he doing?"

"Someone stop him!"

Jungkook blinked many times having the phone vibrating in his hands. In the chaos, he almost forgot that he dialed Jin's contact before. His eyes roamed over the few words that Jin texted him.

"Don't show that you know him, let him handle kook. I am on my way too."

Another stab of confusion hit his mind but he shrugged that off and focused back on fuming Taehyung.

"NEVER HURT MY HUMAN!" Taehyung growled at the officer who was choking on the tight grip of water around his torso.

Jungkook trembled under the effect he felt through the growl. Maybe others also felt that as they shrunk at their spots.

I need to stop him..

With that Jungkook quickly stepped forth and hugged the merman in his arms.

"Tae, please.. please calm down. Please, hun, I am fine... I am not hurt. Let him go, please baby, please." Jungkook continued softly near Taehyung's ear, nose rubbing over his neck gently trying to soothe the blue-haired.

All the others see how Taehyung's eyes slightly changed color but it was back when one doctor took out another dart that they had in case of such a situation.

"DON'T YOU DARE TO HURT HIM!" Taehyung again seethed in his deep voice, the glass shattering under the effect, making other humans cower under his authoritative voice.

Jungkook tightened his grip and rubbed his hand over Taehyung's clothed tummy.

"Baby, please don't be angry.. pl-please." He was crying again, the situation was really getting out of his hands.

Right at that moment, the main door opened, revealing a panting Namjoon.?

The doctors rushed to him quickly and bowed to him while muttering something. Older glanced over at Taehyung who was standing in a shielding manner in front of Jungkook who had his eyes full of questions at the new appearance of his soon-to-be-hyung. 

Namjoon walked towards the senior officer who was standing near the wall.

"I will take responsibility from now on, you can leave," Namjoon announced and Jungkook's heart dropped.

"Hy-"

"Mr. Jeon, handover us this person." Namjoon said pointing at Taehyung with a frown.
