Namjoon and Hoseok were panting wildly as they backtracked through the forest in the night. Namjoon leading and the fox following closely as they darted between trees along the side of the road. They heard them before they saw them.

They stopped short and Hoseok could already tell his alpha wasn't going to be reasonable considering that they couldn't see their mates but their scent was everywhere. Hoseok's hands began to shake at all the thoughts about what could have happened. He jumped nearly as hard as Taehyung's family when he heard the growl Namjoon made.

The wolf stepped out of the forest his eyes glowing and his claws out. He stood a good foot above the tallest man there. He grabbed someone tossing them into a tree hearing a sickening crunch.

"Wolf!" Someone shouted earning them more screams and sharp objects pointed in their way. The lanterns being the only light.

"Namjoon!" Taehyung yelped shoving through the stunned people with Yoongi and running to Namjoon. Only when he looked back safely behind Namjoon did he realize Yoongi wasn't with him.

Namjoon noticed only one of them and immediately thought the worst. His eyes filled with tears and rage as he reached for the first person he could get his hands on. He ripped someone's stomach open and their guts hit the floor.

"Namjoon! No!" Taehyung cried being held back by Hoseok who cried behind him. He tried to get away "Namjoon stop" he shouted pushing away from the Fox only to get held tighter.

"Y-you promised" he cried softly giving up and going limp in Hoseok's arms.

"Wait!" Someone shouted. Taehyung saw his father holding Yoongi in a choke hold. Namjoon froze turning his way his claws bloody. "You want him back?" He asked pushing a knife against the skin of his neck.

"Dad! Let him go! I'm begging you. You'll die" Taehyung screamed.

"Shut up stupid boy" his father said turning to the wolf.

"His life for my son?" He asked.

Namjoon snarled "let him go or I'll make you regret living"

He pressed the knife deeper into Yoongi's throat. He whimpered softly looking at Namjoon as a few tears slipped down his cheeks.

"Oh I don't think so"

Taehyung kicked hoseok and finally got free scrambling on his hands and knees to be in front of his father. "Dad please if you love me let him go and let me go" he begged as sweat slid down his forehead.

His father looked down at him disgusted and kicked him square in the face and his world turned back with the sounds of more shouting.

Taehyung groaned as his head pounded violently in his head. He opened his eyes and it was dark "h-help" he managed at whimper as his head felt like it was exploding and his whole body ached.
