Jungkook was holding Taehyung's hand as they walked down the river bank. "Oh my god Kook" Jungkook looked over at him concerned. "What?" He asked confused. Tae pointed his finger shakily at the other side of the river. Jungkook followed him seeing Namjoon on the bank of the bed laying down motionless.

"Namjoon!" Jungkook shouted letting go of his hand and wading through the water to the alpha who still hand his feet in the water. His body sunburned and red. He grabbed his shoulders "Joon? Alpha?" He whimpered shaking his shoulders. His salty tears falling down on his chest "Namjoon?" He asked cupping his face. A soft groan fell from his lips. "Oh thank goodness" Jungkook cried out in relief and fell into his chest his nose buried into his neck.

"Is-" Taehyung stuttered.

"He's alive" Jungkook said sitting up and looking at him reaching for his hand. Taehyung took it and walked closer to him and knelt down and cupped Namjoon's head in his hans pulling him into his lap. "Joonie?" He cried softly "are you ok?"

Another groan left his chapped lips. "We have to get him out of the water and into the shade" Jungkook said looking around. "Namjoon, you're gonna have to help us. You're going to have to stand and walk" the squirrel said firmly, "get up" he said taking one arm and lifting his upper half up. Taehyung grabbed the other side with careful instructions not to strain himself. Namjoon still not opening his eyes but groaning when he tried to help take the weight off of the boys. Even half unconscious he wanted to help his mates as much as he could.

"One step at a time" Jungkook said walking with him until they got to a tree and bush. They laid him down as carefully as possible. "We are a couple of days from them if we were running. With him it will take a week longer if he can't walk"

"So what do we do?" The human asked snuggling into Namjoon's side. "We can build a small raft and walk with him down the river" Jungkook suggested cuddling into Namjoon's other side looking at him across the broad chest. "Let's do that after he gets a little bit stronger" Taehyung sniffles as the waterfall of tears he was trying to hold in fell out. He openly sobbed into Namjoon's side all the grief and worry coming out.

Jungkook held everything in making himself seem fine. If he pretended enough then he would be fine. "Please be ok" he said kissing Namjoon's chest. It broke his heart to hear Taehyung cry but he was worried that if he hugged him he would start crying and he wouldn't stop.

By the time Taehyung had stopped crying it was dusk and the squirrel was gone. He sat up and rubbed his puffy face looking at Namjoon's sleeping yet distressed face. He cupped his cheeks and kissed his lips. "I brought back food" Jungkook said taking a seat on his knees on the other side of Namjoon. He created a small fire a few feet away from them and cooked half of the fish and roasted some nuts. "Feed these to Joon" Jungkook said handing a bunch of berries to him. It would help hydrate him.

"How?" Taehyung asked confused and on the verge of tears again. Jungkook turned to him and helped Tae sit the alpha up. "It's an instinct. Just put one berry in at a time and talk to him. I think he is conscious but is too weak to open his eyes"

Taehyung sniffles and pushed on berry in "will you eat for me?" The human asked. Slowly the wolf chewed the berry opening his mouth for another. Jungkook nodded encouragingly to him and went back to the fish removing bones and such. Namjoon preferred raw meat and it would be more nutritious for him to eat it that way, but Taehyung had to eat cooked. He just didn't eat meat so his nuts and berries would be his meal, he only occasionally ate meat.

He cut the fish up eating some nuts to tide him over and went back to his mates. "Eat this" he said handing Tae a heaping pile of cooked fish making the humans mouth water. He started eating while Jungkook took over feeding. "I'm going to give you some fish. Good thing Jin taught me how" he murmured softly as he pet Namjoon's hair and gave him a piece. "Good" he cooed and gave another letting him eat until he refused to open his mouth again. "You're full" he said kissing his cheek "thank you"

"Did you eat yet?" Taehyung asked the squirrel. "No I'm fine" he comforted him despite his growling tummy. "I think we should wash him" he suggested looking at the sores and dried blood. Taehyung nodded "if you're sure" he said.

Frowned before an idea came to his head. He walked over to the waters edge and got his tail wet. He got back to the two and used his tail to wash away most of the dirt and blood. Namjoon unconsciously moved away from the cold water into Taehyung's arms where he held him soothing him "it's ok Joonie we are gonna take care of you" he promised kissing his forehead watching the squirrel clean their alpha.

"M thirsty" Namjoon groaned into the side of Taehyung's neck where the human held him. Jungkook looked up  and grabbed a leaf and cupped his hands around it to keep it from leaking and brought it back to Namjoon gently prodding the tip of his fingers and leaf on his lip letting him sip the water. "Good" Tae said running his head behind his ears. After he was finished drinking Namjoon fell asleep into Taehyung letting the human hold and comfort him in his pain.

Jungkook on the other hand went to sit by the fire so he could see the raft he was making. He was tying thin but buoyant logs together with thick leaves and grass and bark. "Kookie are you coming to bed?" Taehyung's small voice asked from a few feet behind them. "No I'm gonna stay up a little later just get some rest ok?" The squirrel asked glancing over his shoulder at him.

He turned back to his work and frowned as he continued to work well into the night and ending up falling asleep on top of the raft.

Jin yawned as he woke up and poked his head up from his own little fur nest. "Jimin?" He asked climbing out and walking over to the crying human. He sat down beside him in the big bed and pulled him to his chest moving him around his bump. "What's wrong baby?" He asked trying to wipe his tears away.

"It's been longer than a week and they are not home yet. What if- What if they don't come back?" He asked letting the jaguar wipe his salty tears off his cheeks. "Hey now don't think like that baby. They are not dead I promise. I can still feel them" Jin told him firmly looking into his eyes to make sure he knows. "Everything will be ok"

Jimin nodded molding into Jin's neck letting the eldest comfort him. "We shouldn't be sad we should actually get something done around here so that when Jungkook and Tae bring Namjoon back he won't need to try to fix everything"

"But you're the one that doesn't want us to make noise" Jimin chuckled as Jin kissed the last few tears away. "We don't talk about my hormonal self it's the baby speaking" Jin joked. "We should definitely make pain medicine. We need poppy seed and aspirin bark" he said "Yoongi is better at making medicine than me though"

Jimin nuzzled into his neck closing his eyes and just breathing him in. "Ok Jin" he yawned.
