ONE
The atmosphere was eerily silent. Dead. Deserted.
Nobody was bustling and thriving along the corridors of Starkiller Base, if it wasn't for a girl striding down as quietly as her dainty feet would allow her to, the desolate base would not show a single sign of life.
Her name was Lyanna.
She sported flyaway curly brown hair that hung in loose waves halfway down her back. Her eyes were chocolate brown, and she had a radiating smile that lit up her features and mood.
She was twenty-seven years of age and she was sure as hell strong-minded.
What nobody in the First Order knew is that she was simply there to spy on the First Order for the Resistance. However, that was not to say that she had ever actually met the Resistance. She knew they were a heroic opponents to The First Order and she also knew they were good people who were currently the only hope for the galaxy.
But she had never had the opportunity to introduce herself in person. She had just transmitted various updates on the plans circulating on The First Order's strategic battle plans over the last ten or so years.
She never knew her Father, but her mother had died during a First Order raid attack on their village when she was around eighteen years old. It had just been her and her mother. Nobody else. She was utterly alone. The last thing her mother ever said to her was "go with them to survive, don't forget the cause we believed in...and never lose your spirit Lyanna. I love you so much."
She shook the painful memory out of her head as she kept on walking ahead towards her ship. The memory, painful though it was, it was also incredibly bittersweet. Remembering the scenery was like a sick feeling of guilty pleasure. She also remembered the very last thing her mother said, the sentance she never had time to finish before she had fallen:
"Find your Father, his name is...is H-"
Lyanna was determined to keep that promise to her mother no matter what. She was never a member of the Resistance directly but knew that Lyanna always wished to be a part of it. And her Father, whoever he was, apparently fought in the rebellion against Emperor Palpatine thirty years ago.
So she decided to go with the First Order that day. One: to prevent herself meeting that same fate. And two: to act as a spy for the Resistance, which the First Order were completely unobservant to.
Just as she was about to cross the border controls towards her U-WING 370, she was summoned by a very familiar voice.
"General Hewitt!" the deep voice thundered menacingly from underneath that damned mask.
It was enough to send shivers down Lyanna's spine and for her nose to wrinkle in disgust.
"Aw fuck..." Lyanna muttered as she turned around slowly to face the jerk himself. Kylo Ren.
"Yes, Ren?" she replied stoutly.
"Where do you think you are going at this late hour?"
Lyanna was never very good at lying, but that had to soon change. She'd never make it in the galaxy if she couldn't do so much as tell a convincing lie.
"I was just about to polish my ship before you stopped me."
"At this hour?" he repeated with suspicion, as though he couldn't think of anything more idiotic than that.
Lyanna forced an innocent yet arrogant smile on her face.
"It desperately needs doing I'm afraid. I'm scheduled for flying practice for the upcoming battle tomorrow and i never had time earlier to clean it because i was tending to my duties as a faithful General."
The words almost made her want to hurl, for she felt no loyalty towards the First Order. Although she did not personally know any member of the Resistance, her loyalty was and always will be, with them.
Kylo nodded, still wearing his annoying, unnecessary helmet.
"Very well General."
"Thank you Sir."
No sooner did Kylo Ren disappear down the corridor, did Lyanna sprint towards her gorgeous hunk of junk. Of course she wasn't cleaning it, she couldn't believe Ren actually fell for that one. She even surprised herself at telling a convincing lie.
She would of course be travelling to the Resistance Base on D'Qar and staying with them for good. She no longer wanted to endure the lifestyle she was restricted to or to be a part of The First Order. Well she wasn't, she was spying on them, but only from her own willingness, since she technically didn't belong anywhere. Ten years had passed, ten years of living a lie, ten years of hiding her inner qualities from the people she was constantly surrounded by.
She wanted to be a part of something. Part of a family who would accept her. Somewhere she could call home.
She leapt into her ship, disabled her tracker to prevent The First Order from finding her, disabled the shields and alarms, and took off into hyperspace.
"And that's where I'm going!" Lyanna grinned, finishing off her thoughts aloud as she prepared to jump to lightspeed.
Less than 2 seconds later, she smiled as she spotted a bright planet in the distance, which so happened to be D'Qar.
"I'll meet the Resistance soon enough."

Hey guys! First chapter! Let me know what you guys think so far! This chapter is a bit dull because it was more of an introductory chapter, but next chapter, Lyanna and the Resistance will meet and she will pledge h loyalty to them, and then in the third chapter, Lyanna goes to Jakku and that's where things really start with TFA storyline. Hope you are enjoying this so far! Don't forget to vote, comment, and share! Love you guys! I'll update in a couple of days!
