"Upar se dusara kamra" he said to her who was looking blankly at his house, his own house.

(Second room from upstairs)

"Kuch chahiye ho toh awaz de dena" he added while going towards his room leaving her alone in the living hall.

(Call me if you need something)

"Anirudh" she whispered while looking at his fading figure.

It's been one month of her accident and now she was staying in his house as he didn't want her to stay in hotel alone.

Due to her sudden accident, the work which was assigned for her got delayed as she was the best dietician in her hospital, so after her recovery she was staying for one more week in that city not alone but this time with her crush.

After revelation of her past that day, vedant stops talking with them and ignored anirudh as much as possible making him hurt by his behavior.

"Tum soyi nhi?" At night, he comes to the kitchen for drinking water when he saw her in the garden.

(Haven't you sleep?)

"Neend nhi aarhi thi" she got startled first but after realizing the owner of the voice she replied meekly.

(Not getting sleep)

"Kl se hospital bhi hai toh jaldi soo jana" he was standing a feet away from her when she heard his concerned voice making her heart swelled with happiness.

(Since tomorrow you have to go hospital also, so go to sleep early)

"Ani..anirudh" he was turning to go when she called him with hesitation making him stop in his track.

"Hmm?" Without turning he asked making her take few steps
toward him.

"Kahan chale gye the?" She asked while now standing infront of him who was trying to avoid their eye contact.

(Where did you gone?)

"Tumse matlb" His rude reply hurts her but she didn't showed it at all.

(None of your business)

"Itni buri lagti hoon mei tumhe?" She asked directly while holding his cheeks making him looked at her.

(I look so bad to you?)

"Itna aasan tha tumhare liye mujhe yuh chodd kr jana?" She added with a painful smile while her eyes welled up on her own.

(Was it so easy for you to leave me?)

"Mere pass aur bhi cheezein hai krne ke liye" he stated while jerked her lightly and goes from there without even glancing at her.

(I have more things to do)

"Shayad dil ki hi galati thi ki tumhe pyaar kiya" she whispered to herself while tears rolled down from her cheeks.

(Maybe it was the mistake of my heart to loved you)

"Good morning" at morning, he comes downstairs to make breakfast but stops after seeing the breakfast on the dining table with a note.

"Sorry" since night, he was feeling bad for his rude behavior but his heart was not letting his confess her feelings as situation are not smooth between them and also vedant behavior hurts him.

"Dietician Urvi aagyi?" After reaching hospital, the first thing he do was asking about her at the counter as he was worried for her since night.

"Yes doctor" the female staff replied with a smile making his beating heart relaxed a bit.

"Aur doctor vedant?" He asked after a moment as in all these days, he missed his dear friend so much but he likes to avoid him.

"Yes" she replied while got busy with other work.

It was afternoon and he was going for lunch in the canteen he saw him in disheveled state.

"Vedant" he called him cheerfully while sitting opposite to him who was sitting alone and having his lunch.

"Kyu itni narazgi?" Seeing anirudh he instantly get up and turns to go leaving his lunch as it is when anirudh asked in pain.

(Why so angry?)

"Vedant" without replying him, he goes from there making anirudh followed him.

"Jao yahan se" his rough words pricked him badly but he controlled himself.

(Go from here)

"Kab tak aise hi khud ko saza deta rhega?" Anirudh blurted out while holding his hand making his eyes moved to him who was literally in pain.

(How long will you keep punishing yourself like this?)

"Pakhi ne bhi yahi kiya" vedant mumbled faintly while looking at the cloudy sky making anirudh left his hand.

(Pakhi did the same)

"Sab yahi krte hai" he added in sad tone while remembering those past events.

"Hum yahan kyu aaye hai?" Pakhi asked vedant while looking at her new surroundings which was decorated with candles and flower which he himself do for her.
It's almost sunset making the scenery more beautiful.

(Why we came here?)

"Kyuki tumhe pasand hai na beach isliye" vedant replied in nervousness.

(Because you love beach that's why)

"Apko toh sab yaad rhta hai" she complimented him with a smile that instantly took his heart away.

(You remembered everything)

"Lekin sirf tumhare bare mei" his heart whispered making him grin.

(But only about you)

"Bhai kyu nhi aaye abtak?" She asked after few minutes as today was her 23rd birthday and he takes her with him in name shake of anirudh as today he was going to propose her after whole three years of their first meeting.

(Why brother didn't came yet?)

"Aate hi honge" he lied as he didn't want anyone to disturb them so he secretly took her out on her birthday by saying it's a birthday surprise from them.

(Will be coming)

"Pakhi" after gathering courage for the tenth time he called her who was busy in clicking pictures of the cake and the decorations, everything was done by him even the baking of her birthday cake.

"Hmm" she replied without looking at him who was now sweating as proposing a girl is indeed a difficult task.

"Pakhi" he again called her while holding her free hand making her looked at him with delusion.

"Mujhe kuch kehna hai" he started to say with great nervousness making her more puzzled.

(I want to say something)

"I don't know how to say but...." he stops as his heart raced making him more nervous of her rejection.

"But?" She asked making him regained his lost courage.

"Iloveyoudon'tknowfromhowlong" he blurted out in one breathe making her confused.

"Kya?" She aksed in confusion when he suddenly sits on his knee while forwarding a diamond ring towards her.

(What?)

"I ❤️ You PAKHI" this time he said in low pace while putting his one hand on his chest and closing his eyes tightly.

"Pakhi" he remained in that position for few minutes but not getting any response he opened his eyes only to find her staring him with blank eyes.

"I'm sorry, I never saw you in that way" she replied straightly making his heart broken slowly slowly.

"As a brother I love you but not as a women loves a man" she added making him totally shattered.

After that heavy night, she left for New york after for her further studies which totally broked him internally.

After two weeks, he came to know about her departure through anirudh and then only he tells his feelings about his sister to him.

After eight months, he came to know that she was coming back to India for some work.
He was beyond happy since morning as he was going to have a glimpse of her after so long.
He was making lunch for her when a sudden phone call broked him apart.

She got into accident while coming way back to her home. She was coming alone as not wanting to trouble her family as she strictly told her family way back then to send only car for her at the airport.

Present:

"Urvi" at dinner, he calls her while standing at her room.

"Urvi" he again called her while knocking louder this time.

"Ur..vi" after few knocking and not getting any response he opened the door but got freezed after seeing the whole room vacant.

She was nowhere to be seen, even her cupboard was empty making him panicked by her sudden disappearance.

"Please Pick up the call" he called her for tenth time but it was going unreachable making him more panicked for her as it was still a new city for her and also the weather was not pleasant.

Soon it starts raining making him worried for her as it's already 10 pm.
Without thinking twice, he dashed out while taking his car keys.

He tired to call vedant also but he was not picking up his call as usual.

"Urvi" he mumbled helplessly while having fear of losing her again.

It's been whole two hours of searching her but there was no sign of her leaving him in broken state.

He was returning back to his home when suddenly his noticed a girl in his home's back side park.

"Urvi" hoping to be her, he rushed to the garden while halting his car near the park. Till reaching near her, he got drenched in heavy rain but he cared less.

"Yahan kya kr rhi ho?" But after seeing the girl infront of his eyes, he yells at her who was sitting on the bench with her luggage and getting drenched without caring for herself.

(What are you doing here?)

"Chalo" seeing her mum, he dragged her out even after her fragile protest.

(Let's go)

"Urvi, sit inside" he tells her for the fourth time as she was just standing at the car's door but not entering inside.

Seeing her this rude, he lifts her up in his arms and makes her sit inside while buckling the seat belt.

"Akhir kr kya kr rhi thi tum wahan? Woh bhi itni raat aur itni tez baarish mei?" Parking the car infront of his garage, he asked her furiously while looking at her who was shivering even in car's heater.

(After all, what were you doing there?That too in night and in heavy rain? )

"Urvi" seeing her not answering, he shakes her making her looked at him for once.

"Tumhe..takleef...hoti...hai na mujse, Isliye chali gyi thi tumse dur" she finally replied while shivering making his heart pain.

(You got bothered by me, that's why went away from you)

"Tumhe aur takleef na ho isliye kl subah ki pehli flight se wapis jaa rhi hoon" she added making him looked at her who was looking sideways probably controlling her tears.

(You got troubled by me so I am going back by the first flight tomorrow morning)

"Ab tumhe....koi....pareshan nhi karega" she further added with tears rolling down.

(Now  nobody will bother you)

He got so much mixed emotions by her words that makes him possessive and  all of sudden without warning her he pulls her and crashes his lips to her.
