Begining
Juniper walked along the coast line, looking for sea shells. She needed only three more to complete the necklace she was making for her mother. All her life she was told that a sea shell necklace could heal any ailment.
Searching as the sun rises, Juniper didn't notice the man watching. He followed her every movement as she bent over picking up shell after shell. If she would have noticed him sooner she would have turned away. If she had noticed him sooner she wouldn't be were she was now.

"Tell me your name." The man said once again. His patients was running thin with the girl he had taken.
"No. Now let me go." The girl said threw her tears.
"I need to know your name." The man said as he rubbed the bridge of his nose with his finger.
The sun had begun to set and still the young girl wouldn't tell him. Soon the land would become darkened and his other side would come out. There would be no stopping it. No light to keep the darkness away.
"Please let me go. I need to return home." The girl begged.
"I can't let you go. It's too late now." The man said sadly. He didn't want this to happen. He didn't want to feed. Too many have been hurt already.
The girl began to cry fully now as sob after sob wracked her small frame. He almost felt sorry for her. Would have felt sorry for her if it wasn't already getting dark. If only he could remain human.
