Third Person POV

Shion's eyes widened the moment she saw Guren, who just took down multiple men and is very concentrated to fight the vampires as vampires came to attack him one by one. But he just effortlessly kill normal vampires. The other humans in Guren's squad came to help Guren. Shion felt a tear roll down her cheek, but she immedietly wiped it off. She instead wore a smile, a smile with a lot of different feelings behind it.

"Me and Mito-san will back you up, go after the commander!" Sayuri said as she positioned her sword. "I'm counting on you about that then," Guren said as he charged towards where Shion is.

The moment Guren saw Shion, his eyes widened in shock as he stopped.
He looked at Shion, "Shion... Why...? Why are you with the vampires?"

Shion gave him a smiled in response, "I'm sorry Guren."

Shion said as she jumped on the ground. She scrathed her wrist and hardened her blood like a sword.

"Guren, let's spar. If I win, I will ask you two questions that if you don't answer, you will come with me. If I lose, I will surrender myself to humans." She said in a challenging way.

"Sparring in the battlefield? I like that." Guren and Shion used to do this since they were young, so Guren gives a smirk as he agreed. Shiroka gaves him a smile, a signal when they start.

Guren holds his sword properly, whispering, "Lend me your power, Mahiru-no-yo."

Then Guren charges, so as Shion, and the moment Shiroka interwind their swords together, Guren felt shock as he continued to shake and feel powerless to Shion

"This power...!" Guren thought to himself, and in a heartbeat Shion sent Guren swords flying, leaving Guren open. She kicked Guren down kneeling, and kneeled and whispers to Guren's ear.

"I will drink your blood. By the time you answer me properly I will withdraw." Shion paused. "Where is Shinya, and Hyakuya Yuichiro?" Shion whispers, and then sinks her fangs on Guren's neck and sucked blood, causing Guren to gasp.

"Ugh. Shinya is fine. Yuu is..." Guren paused, "What do you need on Yuu?" Guren continued. Shion stopped, and Guren felt his body numb.

"I know him since he was still in the orphanage. Now, tell me. You took him didn't you?" Shiroka asked. "He is fighting in the Second Defense Line, he will be here soon." Guren answered. Shiroka then withdraw, after whispering, "Thank you."

"So how do human blood tastes?" Ferid looked at Shion and smirked.

"Its fine." Shion said as she wipe her lips with the back of her hand.

"Mikaela, please take care of him." Mikaela looked at Shiroka, asking "Are you fine?"

"I feel too full." Shion laughed, and Mikaela looked back to Guren. "Full of guilt, to be exact." Shion thought to herself.

Shiroka's POV

Mika fights with Guren, and swords clashing together fills the area. Watching Mika and Guren fight describes the contradictions in my life. I need to protect Mika at all costs, but I want to protect my family at all costs. However, at my condition, I can't be with them. They have their own dreams, and few years ago what I dreamt is only protecting my family, completely forgetting who I am really supposed to protect. Getting away from my thoughts, I saw Shigure preparing her strings that connects to her rings, which is her cursed gear, and with her kunai attached at the tips. Goshi is also preparing an illusional spell.

"As expected from Mika-kun. Overwhelming power and arrogance. But that arrogance will get that rug under you. Need help?" Ferid gives warning to Mika. However, Mika appears to be confused and haven't noticed the rug Shigure prepared. I summoned Gladius,

I'll just have to kill Shigure. With that-

My eyes widened on what I just thought of, and the contradictions started to widen even more.

Did I just... Have the thought of killing Shigure?

Then getting away from my thoughts, I saw Mika jumping, trying to avoid Shigure's kunais. Then, Goshi casts the illusionary spell, and Mika avoids it, once Mika lands on the ground, Guren comes at him, but in a blink of an eye, I appeared in the middle of them, and defended Mika with my sword Guren's eyes widened in shock. I lift my right leg and kicked him in the face sending him flying and uncontrollably breaking walls as he pass through. I felt a glimpse of guilt, but I know my priorities.

"Woah~ Strong as always, Shion-chan~ Even if its your beloved family, you would kill them if its for Mikaela~" Ferid teased, looking at me. I turned my back with a "Tch."

"Well, we could work together, Mika-chan~" Ferid offers Mika, but Mika rejects it, "I can handle myself." Mika said, "Drink more of my blood, sword." Mika continues and more vines wrapped his hand. "See, arrogant? Is that arrogance was because you were a human until just recently?"

Third Person POV

"Guess I need to take two pills." Guren said as he closed his alarm.

"You can't Guren-sama!" Sayuri shouted, "You can die by taking two pills!" Sayuri warned, while defending Lacus with her cursed paper sword.

"We'll die even if I don't take it!" Guren shouted in response.

"Are you done talking? I'm coming then," Mika said.

"Well, aren't you polite? Its time for us to take our medicine, can you give us 20 more seco-" Guren was cutted off when Mika attacks him, and he defends himself with his sword. His sword started to shake, "I didn't think you would, plus your much faster." Guren said. "I'm not holding back anymore." Mika replies as they both jumped back. "Holding back in the battle field? Your so childish!" Guren taunts, "And you're gonna get killed by that child." Mika says as he once again attacks Guren, but this time Guren falls to the ground, leaving him open.

"Damn." Guren says. I guess this is it.

"This is your end, human." Mika said, as he positions his sword.

"Oh, you need to hurry, Mika-chan. That's their back up." Ferid said as he keeps his eyes on their backup, the Shinoa Squad. Mika stabbed Guren in the chest, as blood splashed.

"Bastard...! What are you doing to Guren?!" Yuu shouted, as he ran even faster towards Guren.

"Another human... So annoying." Mika's eyes widened, as he saw the other, Yuu, his family. "Y-yuu-chan?" Mika shuttered, but Yuu kept his pace, and Shion saw this comming, so she prepared her sword. Yuu, not knowing this was Mika, tries to attack him, but once again Shion defends Mika, and Yuu frowned deeper. Shion kicks Yuu as light as possible, but Yuu still flew away and hitted his back on the wall. Mika couldn't help but shout, "Yuu-chan!!!" Mika looked at Shion with a frown.

"Yuu-san!" Shinoa shouted with worry filling her emotions. She kneeled and helps Yuu stand up.

"Ugh...! Guren!" Yuu shouted with worry, but his eyes widened the moment he saw Mika,

"Huh?"
