Kevin stood in shock he couldn't believe it. His big sister is dating the man he feared but respect. "Dee are you crazy you can get hurt don't you know that," he said in a low whisper. Dee shook her head, "It really isn't nothing and I know at the end of the day he will never hurt me."

"That boy will use you and rip you into pieces Dee please listen to me." "Kevin why he hit you." Kevin overlook her question," In another week or so, you gon be tossed away like the rest of them."

"Nah you got it all wrong Kevin, me and Chuck been together for a while, and he never mention anything about breaking up. He is the one who won't let me go." Before they could speak Camila called out to them, "Is everything ok." Dee shot her mom a smile and nodded but she stayed with her hands on her hips.

"I wont tell and you wont tell." Kevin whisper so his momma couldn't hear. Dee nodded and they went up to the porch. Surprisingly Dennis was in his room sleep. Kevin took a chance and he was off to his room.

Dee turned to her mom eyeing her," What was that about." "Nothing mom," Camila just stared looking for any clues." So I wanted to ask you again baby what do you want to do." Dee head swung back with excitement she forgot to tell her mom her mind was made up.

"I was thinking I should go off to get my license and own my own hair salon." Camila was caught off guard and was now sad. Her baby going off and leaving her she couldn't do nothing about it but let it happen.

"Oh that's so wonderful baby I'm glad you finally decided, now where are you going."" I think ima go to Dirk University or maybe I would go to Duplair and go to their university." Dee was now getting more excited.

"Baby whichever you chose I'm all for it." Dee kissed her mom and cheek and was on her way to her room. "Get it in here Dee." Dee look back at Kevin room door it was open.

She walk in and saw him laying flat on his back looking at the ceiling fan she close the door," Look I'm sorry Chuck punch you I will tell him to leave you-"" Like he gon listen to some girl."

Dee was offended a little but she understood where he was coming from." Look I know your mad but you act like I'm some random chick that he sleep with every now and then," Kevin shot up off the bed," You is..... how long ya'll been together a week? two? maybe three?" Dee was even more offended

"No six months." Kevin look at her like she was crazy, " Six months." Dee nodded," Why you looking at me like that."

"That's how long I been working for him." They stared at each other for awhile. "Where did yall meet." Kevin shook his head," It was when the family went to go see yo nigga Charles."

Dee eyes widened at what he said, "That's when I met him." They stood in the middle of the room trying to put two and two together. "Wait, when we met I was yelling at this nigga about sum and he came and help me out, we was in that alley in between Charles and that barbershop." Dee then remember.

"And when we met mom and dad went into Charles while I stayed behind checking him out, we hook up and he left with his friends down that alley." Kevin bust out to laughing," That's why that nigga was smiling and shit, maybe that's the reason why he help me out he was hook."

Dee couldn't believe her brother was a dope dealer, but Kevin couldn't believe his sister was with one.

Dee started laughing," Charles aint my nigga Kevin." He gave her a smirk as he went in the bathroom, "Well yo man yo husband yo bae.... how about that." Dee stop laughing and threw his pillow at him. She miss as he slam the door.

Dee walk back in her room waiting on the deep slumber she was gonna fall into. She sent Chuck a text telling him they need to talk.

Charles was just now getting home. Glinda and him been looking for presents for Jr. ,and he was getting everything he mention. Sadly Glinda was clueless. He reach for his door and there stood his mom.

"Mom what's wrong." She smiled letting him in. He notice his sisters and brother sitting down. "Sup yall what's wrong."

"Boy why something got to be wrong for us to come and visit." Charles chuckled a little," I don't know mom but how is you." She hug him," Fine." She went back into the kitchen and he followed her and he instantly fell in love when he saw the ribs, collard greens, sweet potatoes, and corn bread.

"Mom when you cook." "She been cook we just putting everything up where you been." his sister Nancy said. "Minding my business." he mumbled. He heard the toiled flush down the hall he turned and saw Dot coming out.

"Wassup man how was your little date with Dee." "DEE!!" he turned and saw everyone staring at Charles with shock. "Really Dot." Charles didn't tell anyone his interest in Dee but they all knew her and her family well.

"You talking to that little girl... Eww Charles that's nasty." Nancy had her face scrunch up like she smell something. "Aye she's young but very mature for her age and when go leave it at that, I don't know what I will say or do if you talk down on her." Charles look a everybody sternly even his mom.

But she wasn't phase in fact he thought he saw her smiling. "Mom is you smiling." She nodded with tears in her eyes. "Boy I been waiting for you two to finally get close."

Everyone turn to her shock. "Wait mom you want him to go with that little girl." Dustin said with a disturb look. She nodded," Actually all three of us did." Charles look confuse," Three?"

Donna nodded," Yea me, mom, and Dot." Everyone was quite for a while. Charles made his plate and started eating like he haven't in along time. "Well baby how was it and stop eating like that." Everyone gather around the table and wait for an answer.

"Well mom I like her and I told her I liked her every since we met and she said she did too." Martha was dancing in her chair at the sound of that. "Baby don't let her go to easy she maturing and you should let her do that, but when the time comes I wont you to marry her."

Charles chock on his food grasping for air. Dustin hit his back while Martha rub his arm. "Baby calm down and breathe." He settle down after awhile he spoke. "Mom marriage is along way from me and I'm not ready for-"" Hush that nonsense I know Dee is the one she is beautiful, smart, and is filled with opportunities. Please don't let her go easily." Charles nodded as they all sat their talking about his little man and his birthday next week.

Dustin was on edge with the conversation about Jr. He was the only one who knew the secret. He love his brother but he just wouldn't feel to comfortable being the one to say it. If he haven't heard about it yet then he wont mention it either.

Dee and Kevin was walking around the mall looking for their parents. "I thought you said they was in Rue 21." Kevin was laughing he like making his sister mad. "I said I thought but anyway maybe they in Victoria S-"" Kevin keep pushing it and watch what will happen."

Kevin was laughing too hard at this point. Dee was pissed they walk around the mall and she was tired. "Mane Kevin you play too much." They kept walking straight and they reach the escalator. They got on and patiently wait till they reach the top.

Camila and Dennis was smiling and holding each other hands. "Baby I'm so happy we found happiness and we're going to die old together." Dennis started laughing," Now hold up I'm still young just because you feel old doesn't mean anything." Camila punch him in  his arm.

"I would rather feel then look." She pulled from his arm and walk away. "Babe you so easy to get riled up you need to work on that." He grab her around her waist and pulled her close smelling her lovely perfume.

"I don't have to fix nothing you married me for me so I'm going to be me." "It doesn't hurt to change up a little." Camila playfully push him," Look Dennis Dee is going to be talking to you about something today, and its important and I wont you to not get mad about it. I personally been waiting for this and I don't want you to mess this up its very important you let her be happy."

Dennis shook his head," She pregnant by a man who doesn't give a damn about her aint it." Camila was caught off guard by it, "No why do you think that." Dennis didn't speak he just felt like she was.

Chuck and his boys along with Damion been cruising around the mall looking for something to wear tonight at the club. Chuck was walking with his down when a girl ran by bumping in to him.

"Aye yo ass need to-" He stop when he saw it was Dee and Kev. He went from 0 to 100 real quick. Damion sense it and grab Dee so she wont be hurt. "Damion let me go you crazy or something."

"No is yo ass crazy not only you cheating on me with that nigga Charles but you with this nigga too. I thought you was faithful but I guess that was all lies. See I knew I couldn't trust you-" "Chuck be quiet  you starting to make people look." Dee tried to calm him down but he got even more piss.

"Yo I don't give a fuck, my only concern is why you cheating on a nigga that care about you..... now I know I wasn't there when I was suppose to but I was there when I could, but never have I ever cheat on you ma and to think I found the one who I think I love doing all this creeping around hurts me." Dee stood there shock she didn't even know she shaking.

"Yo Chuck its really aint what-" "And you didn't I tell you ass the next time I see you slipping you better be running and hope I have sympathy for you." He was now all up in his personal space along with his boys. Damion was still holding Dee.

"Chuck I don't not go with him he is my brother." Chuck stop and look back at Dee. She was crying and he now see a lot of the customers standing around with their phones out. He instantly felt bad and regretted what he said to her.

He walk back to her and held her," Please tell me you aint fucking with me now." She shook her head trying to pull away. He look back Kevin and saw some resemblance. Dee pulled away from him and ran off. "Dee!!" He took off behind her.

She turned a corner and laid her head on the wall trying to calm down. "Chuck leave me alone." He didn't move he held her and tried to kiss her but she kept moving. "Dee I'm sorry I just was angry that you found someone else." Dee look up at him and he saw the pain in her eyes." You humiliated me in front of everyone."

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that Dee please stop crying." She pulled away. "Chuck why do you even care don't you want to go beat some one up and rob them, or maybe you want to go sell dope." Chuck didn't say nothing as he stared at the love of his life. "And another thing I am seeing someone else, and its not Kevin." He then felt his heart drop.

He let his head drop and she saw that she hurt him with those word but so he hurt her too. "I don't wanna be with you no more, you push me away so many times and hurted me badly." Chuck look back up and she saw him crying. Never did she think Chuck would cry about anything, he didn't cry when his grandma was beaten up or when his dad died. So why now?

Kevin came back around as Chuck wiped his tears away. "Mane Dee mom and dad is looking for you." Dee eyes budge out her head, she turned around and before she could speak Chuck kiss her. He pulled away and smiled," Dee I'm sorry and you know what your right." He walk over to Kevin," Sorry Bruh and you know what we aint gon never bump heads anymore if you want to continue working for me." He look back at Dee and pulled her close," I hope we can start over one day but for now we can be friends. Just know no one can replace your first."

Kevin started coughing once he heard that. Chuck kissed her cheek and gave Kevin a man hug and left. Kevin shook his head once he look at Dee," I never saw him like this I guess he really did had it bad for you." Dee put a little smile on," Come on so dad wont have a heart attack."

Charles and his family sat in the restaurant talking, every now and then he would get up and leave to talk to customers. He sat back down and his mom bump him," Where is Dee? Charles." All day she been asking about Dee and she was irritating him.

Before he could answer the door chimed. Just like that Dee and their family walk in. She looked nice in her short sundress and sandals. He told his family he will be right back and left. He made his way over to Dee and pulled her into a hug. "Hello everyone how you guys doing on this fine day."

He was still holding Dee while she smile like a little girl who has some candy. He look up and saw her dad glaring at him." Charles how you doing sweetheart." Camila gave him a small hug. As she pull away Dennis clear his throat," You know my husband Dennis I'm sure Dee mention him." Charles shook his hand. "Of course we talk about yall yesterday."

"Camila girl it's been long." He turned and saw his mom running to hug Camila. "Martha how are you sweetie." They hug and Martha eyes landed on Dee she pulled her in," Dee you've grown up I haven't seen you in awhile." Dee nodded. Charles walk them to their table.

"Dee I forgot to ask you how the apartment search went." Charles notice how she felt uncomfortable. "Mom it went good I'm down with two choices, and I was going to bring you and Dad by to see before I make my decision. "

Dee felt like her dad was watching her and Charles she look up and he was indeed looking. She turned her head from his gaze and back to her mom.

"Well we gotta go and head back home Charles." His mom said he nodded his head as he trail behind her. She stop and went over to Dee," I hope I get to see you again baby girl." She pulled her close and look at Camila," You to girl." Camila and them hug and they was gone.

It got silent for awhile and Dennis couldn't take it anymore. "So anyone want to talk or what." Dot came over to take their order," Hey Dee you found you a spot." She nodded and he look at Camila," Nice seeing you again Ms. Camila-" "Its Mrs. Long." Dot look at Dennis and nodded his head." Sorry Sir."

After he took their order he left," I take it you guys are good friends with them." Camila kick Dee leg and she look up. She mouth "DO IT" and Dee felt uneasy. She look up at her dad as he stared out the window.

"Dad," he turned back around and look at her. Charles was walking a back with their food along with Dot. "Me and Charles like each other, and I don't know if we would end up together but I hope one day we will." "And we do too." Kevin and Camila said. Dot excused his self and went back to the kitchen.

Dennis sat there in his own world glaring at Charles. Charles look back at Dee," I'm glad you feel that way Dee." He kissed her cheek and before he could get further down Dennis push the table over marching over to him.
