Concerned [4]

"I wonder what that was all about." Wade commented. All Bob could do to answer was simply shrug, as Jack pulled a face of extreme thoughtfulness.

"He seemed like he really had to rush off somewhere. Like he was concerned." Jack pointed out. Bob rose a brow, as he shifted the glasses on his nose by a tad.

"Really?" Bob said, getting a small nod from Jack. Wade said nothing, just listening with interest.

"Yeah... Whatever it was about, I hope he's okay..." Jack murmured, nervously biting one of his nails. Wade opened his mouth to speak.

"It could have been anything. We wouldn't know, seeing as he muted himself. I'd say not to jump to conclusions and if he decides to tell us, well then there you go."

"I think that's the smartest words that's ever come from Wade's mouth." Bob joked, earning a laugh from Jack and even Wade himself. He was used to this type of thing, his friends messing with him like that. People believed that Bob and Mark just picked on him for the hell of it - bullied him, but that wasn't it at all. He knew it was just a bit of harmless fun. And anyway, he pretty much took it upon himself to make himself the friendship group's clown. And he was fine, having that part to play in the group. After all, they were all still friends.

"But you're right." Bob continued. "For now, why don't we play some... Overwatch? We'll probably hear from Mark later."

Jack debated what to say within his mind for a moment, before deciding to answer with a nod and a gigantic grin.

"Hell yeah! Sounds good to me!"

"You shouldn't let people get to you all the time, Amy." Mark frowned, placing two hot mugs of hot chocolate on the kitchen counter in front of her. He had probably already been at her house for a good twenty minutes, as she explained what had made her so upset. Amy sighed.

"I know, Mark..." Amy answered, taking one of the cups into her hands, staring at her slight reflection in the dark liquid. "But it's easier for you to say, you've had to put up with people saying shit to you all the time much longer than me. I'm not used to getting this much hate."

"...I guess that's true" Mark admitted, crossing his arms. "But you still shouldn't listen. The people who are saying shit to you, they really don't have anything else to do. Especially when they do it to, I don't know, keep me single for themselves, or protect a fictional ship that isn't even real..."

"Right..." Amy said, taking a sip of her hot chocolate, before putting it back on the surface in front of her. She managed a small smile. "Well, thanks for coming over, to be here for me... Sorry for wasting your time..." She apologized.

"Hey..." Mark frowned, leaning forward over the counter and taking her hand into his. "You're not a waste of my time. Whether it be a big or small problem, I'll be there." He beamed, kissing the back of her hand.

"...Thanks..."

"I've got an idea. Maybe I should make a video about it, addressing the situation." Mark shrugged.

"Eh, I don't know... I feel like that'll just make things worse."

"But it might not. After all, I hate just standing aside - letting this happen. Maybe people will be more willing to leave us alone if something is said."

Amy thought for a moment, before responding.

"I... guess if you think it'll make a difference..."

"It will, I promise." Mark smiled, leaning forward and giving her a loving kiss. "Love you."

"Love you too, Mark..."

"Mother fucker!" Jack shouted at his screen, before slumping back into his chair as the game ended. He could hear Bob's loud energetic laughter as he sat there for a moment, just sulking.
"How the fuck did we lose? God dammit!" Jack pouted, sitting upright in his chair as Bob continued to lose it over his green haired friend's outburst.

"Hey, you guys." Wade spoke, interrupting the fun. "Mark uploaded a video on his channel. Apparently it seems like a big deal - I'm assuming by the title."

"Huh?"

Clicking out of the game Overwatch, both Bob and Jack went over to YouTube to take a look at Mark's channel. And as Wade had said, he uploaded another video about ten minutes ago, which was called "Something to be addressed".

Without thinking, Jack decided to click on the video, resting his chin in his hand as he watched with interest. In the video, Mark was seen sitting in his bathroom - which seemed to be a thing now for his vlogs, because the room offered up good lighting.

"Hello everybody, my name is Markiplier! I am once again in my bathroom to deliver you a video... Because that didn't sound weird at all!" He chuckled, before taking a moment to run a hand through his red hair.

"Jack?" Bob's voice spoke, before Jack hushed him.

"Sorry, I'm just watching Mark's video." Jack explained, not taking his eyes away from the screen.

"Anyway," Mark continued, his gaze fixed back on the camera. "If you guys probably couldn't already tell, I've made this video because... There's something we really need to talk about." He paused.

"As many of you may know, or probably should know, I actually have, well, a girlfriend. Her name's Amy, for those of you who may not know. And for those of you who have known for awhile, and been giving us a lot of support, I really thank you guy.s You guys are the best!" Mark's grin, then faded to a small frown.

"However, there are also some of you out there, who really need to step off. You know who you are. I mean, I know there's always going to be those shitty people who will want to say stuff to others, just to get some joy out of it. But if you're that type of person, then you do not belong in this community. In this community, we should be there for one another and help each other out. And I don't appreciate the kind of bullshit some of you guys have been giving to Amy. And I wanna put an emphasis on the word, some. 'Cause I know most of you are in fact good people. There's just a small majority who have to ruin it for others..."

"Anyway, I didn't want to have to put a video up about this. However, with the way things were getting, I didn't really want to leave it. I hope from now on a lot of you guys will understand and will actually treat Amy right, because she belongs in this community just as much as any of you do... But yeah, that's my rant over, I guess I'll leave it here. Thank you to those of you who may have took the time to watch this. And I guess I will see you, in the next video. Bub-bye!"
