Bad timing [33]
[A/N] - This chapter may seem like it's going to get dirty, but it's not. (Sorry sinners!) It's just for a tad bit of conflict I suppose. Anyway, enjoy. :)

"So, what movie did you have in mind?" Mark wondered, when they were back at Jack's apartment, cuddling together on the sofa.
Jack pouted, thinking for a moment, trying to think of any movie they could possibly watch. Jack shrugged.
"Why don't we watch... I don't know, one of the Harry Potter movies or somethin'." Jack suggested. To his surprise, Mark didn't object, and happily put one of the movies on, still cuddling all the while.
"You know, don't you just wonder why no one has shut the school down yet with bad things always happening?" Mark questioned.
"Who knows? Maybe people dying is just normal in the wizarding world."
"Well, when you can cast spells that kill you, yeah." Mark said, as if he was pointing out the obvious. Jack grinned, shaking his head.
"You always just have to shoot me down, don't ya?"
"Well, I love you really." Mark cutely responded, lightly kissing Jack's hair.
For the rest of the movie, the couple continued to chat here and there, whilst also keeping their eyes on the screen. Half way through, Jack decided he was hungry and went to go microwave some popcorn, before returning and cuddling again with Mark, sharing the popcorn between them.
Eventually, the movie did end, once again leaving them both pondering what to do with the rest of their day. They had already spent a lot of their time playing video games and watching YouTube videos. Now they had watched a movie so... Now what?
"Should we just watch some normal TV or somethin'?" Jack asked, as he got up to take the DVD disk out of the DVD player. Mark sat up, stretching out his arms and letting out a small yawn.
"It's no good bein' tired yet, Mark." Jack joked. "We still have a few hours of the day to kill." He finished, sitting down next to Mark with the remote in his hand.
"There's never really anything good on though..." Jack frowned with a sigh. Mark sat, thoughtful for a moment, before a small confident grin fell on his face.
"In that case..." Mark smirked, suddenly tackling Jack, tickling him. Jack let out a loud burst of laughter, as he was an extremely ticklish person.
"Oh my god! Stop! Mark!" Jack giggled uncontrollably. Jack fell back with laughter, lying down on the sofa with Mark now looking down at him, his hands either side of his head. He rolled his eyes.
"Well, aren't you bold?" Jack chuckled, as he saw Mark mockingly pout.
"Hey, I wasn't suggesting anything. I was just tickling you. You were the one who fell over." Mark argued with a smile. Jack laughed, seeing the look on Mark's face, such a adorable smile.
"Well... Like you said, nothin' good on TV, time to kill..." Jack shrugged. Mark rose his eyebrows, surprised.
"What? Seriously?" Mark asked, being taken completely off guard.
"Unless you don't want to?" Jack frowned, now seeming a little embarrassed. Mark chuckled a little, before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on Jack's lips.
"No, it's fine. I was just checking if you were sure..." Mark muttered, giving Jack another kiss. Jack smiled into the kiss, trailing his lips along Mark's in return.
Jack went to move his arms from his sides, to wrap them around Mark's torso, but just as he was about to, Mark took both his wrists, firmly pinning them to the couch cushions beneath him, instantly making Mark the more dominant one, which wasn't really a surprise.
This time, the kiss began to become more heated and much faster paced than before. Mark was almost practically ready to start undressing the Irishman, before they both flinched in surprise as Jack's phone rang in his pocket.
Mark sighed, as Jack frowned a little, mouthing a small "sorry" to Mark as his red headed boyfriend climbed off him. He went to take his phone out his pocket and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Sean! How have you been?" A female voice spoke on the phone. Jack gasped, raising his brows in surprise as he recognized that voice.
"Ma!?" Jack exclaimed, turning to Mark with wide eyes. Mark looked slightly shocked too. "This is so weird! We were just talkin' about you earlier!"
"Whose 'we'?" His mother asked.
"Oh, me and my friend Mark. He came to visit me in Ireland." Jack explained, looking over to Mark. Luckily, Mark didn't look at all offended that he had called him his friend and not his boyfriend, but it seemed he understood why.
"Really? Why's that?"
"Well, I was thinking of comin' to visit again as it's been ages since my last time there and I wanted to bring Mark with me, if that's cool."
"Yeah, that's fine! We'd love to meet your friend!" His mum replied, seeming excited.
"Yay! I'm glad! Listen, ma, I'd love to stay and chat but I really gotta go." Jack admitted.
"Oh, okay! Well, we'll be looking forward to your visit! See you, Sean!"
"See you, Ma! Bye!" Jack said, before hanging up. Mark pouted.
"You know, never would I have thought I'd get cockblocked by your mom." Mark laughed. Jack burst out with laughter, putting his phone down by the sofa.
"Well, how about we get back to that?" Jack smirked.
"Oh?" Mark responded, leaning in for another kiss. Mark took Jack into his arms, holding him close as he slowly moved his mouth against Jack's.
Again, Mark felt like the world hated him when Jack's phone went off again. The half-Korean cursed under his breath as Jack gave him an apologetic smile.
"Who is it? They better have a good reason for calling otherwise I'm gonna kick 'em."
Jack paused, looking at his screen.
"It's Signe." Jack answered. Mark frowned.
"You could just ignore it, right?" Mark mumbled, giving him a look. Jack stared back at him, his eyes had a thoughtful look on them. Should he have ignored Signe or...?
Then again, the thought of pretty much "screwing" his boyfriend just because he wanted to kill some time, it felt kind of meaningless. Like he could have thought up the whole scenario in his head, maybe it being somewhat more romantic than just something that was a spur of the moment.
After all, this was Mark he was with. The guy who he had known since beginning YouTube. The guy who had started off as his best friend, becoming someone who he could never stop thinking about, someone he hated to be without. He loved Mark more than anything, and if he had several ideas in mind of how this was going to go, this was not one of them.
"I can't just ignore her." Jack spoke, seeming to tick Mark off a little.
Mark let out another sigh and rolled his eyes, getting up off the couch.
"Welp, I'm done." Mark complained.
"Wha--"
"I'm not in the mood anymore, I'll be upstairs." Mark said bluntly, sounding a tad bit frustrated.
"Oh, come on, Mark! Don't be that way!" Jack protested, trying to convince him to stay.
However, Mark just ignored his pleading voice and left the room to go upstairs. Jack exhaled, answering the call.
"Hey, Jack!"
"Hey, Signe..." Jack muttered. Signe frowned
"You don't sound too happy. I catch you at a bad time?"
"That's uh, one way of putting it..."
"Oh, sorry. I'll call some other time, alright? Bye." She said, hanging up.
Putting his phone away into his pocket, Jack went to get off the couch to go find Mark. He found him in his room, lying under the bed covers, staring at the ceiling.
"Ya didn't have to leave, you know?" Jack said, walking across the room and sitting on the empty side of the bed.
"Well, you seemed to be more preoccupied with your phone, so..." Mark mumbled.
"Hey, it's not my fault that people call me." Jack answered. "So stop being so grumpy."
"Alright, fine. But, honestly. Not in the mood anymore."
"Yeah, me neither." Jack replied, lying down next to Mark, under the covers. Mark turned over to face him, a small smile forming on his lips.
He gave Jack a small kiss on the forehead, before putting his arm around the Irishman and bringing him close.
"Sorry, Jack... I didn't mean to get in a huff about it." Mark apologized. Jack grinned.
"It's fine, Mark."
"No, it's not. It's stupid. I was just a little.. Jealous there for a second."
"Because Signe called me?" Jack asked. Mark nodded.
"Yeah... So, sorry..."
Jack smiled.
"It's fine, Mark. I get it, sometimes it's okay to be jealous. It's normal." Jack said. "And it's not like I'm so innocent, remember? I got jealous of you and Amy." Jack pointed out.
And that was true. But he thought maybe they could both just try and deal with their jealousy together.
"And besides, I kind of want that moment for us to be more special, you know? Not just somethin' to do out of the blue." The Irishman said. Mark gazed back at him, the edges of his lips being tugged even more into a smile.
Taking his hand and caressing Jack's cheek with his soft touch, Mark grinned, an understanding look in his eyes. A look that told Jack he agreed, that they should hold off and wait for a more meaningful time.
"I understand, Jack..." Mark whispered, holding Jack close as he closed his eyes to relax. Jack happily beamed back, closing his eyes so he too could rest, lying next to his loving boyfriend in his warm embrace of affection.
