I'm chased for hours by the Zombie and Fiend monsters in the Nightmare Forest until they corner me on a cliff. I'm panting out of breath and exhausted from being chased.

"Hand over the crystal boy and we'll let you live." A Zombie type monster that I recognize as The Earl of Demise says.

"Don't lie to the boy, we will kill him no matter what he does." Headless Knight, a Fiend type monster says.

"I don't think so." I turn and jump off the cliff, with some of the Zombie and Fiend monsters trying to catch me.

They all fail, and I make an Overlay Network to the Trancy Manner before I hit the bottom of the cliff. I race up to the door of the Trancy Manner when I get there, but before I could even knock on the door it opens. Hannah was on the other side.

"I did it Ms. Hannah." I say as I show her the Violet Crystal.

"You have done well my dear boy, now what is your name."

"My name is Dumon, Dumon Seraph." I say somewhat proudly.

"You have fulfilled your end our agreement, now you shall become a demon." She says as she puts her hand over my right eyes, I bite my lip to hold back the pain.

After the pain subsides I relaxes a bit, almost falling into Hannah's arms.

"Upon your death Dumon you shall be reborn as a demon, it doesn't matter how you meet your end. But what you hope to find, you will not gain." Hannah whispers into my ear, I don't understand what she means by that last part but I thank her for her help.

After that we part ways, I leave the manner and go site seeing around England just for the fun of it before returning home to Barain World to carry out my death so that I could be reborn as a demon. I try to sneak back into the castle but I'm caught.

"And where have you been? We've been worried sick about you." Nash asks me.

"I was running an errand for an acquaintance of mine." I say hoping that Nash would buy that excuse.

"Really, and who is this acquaintance of yours?" Don chimes in.

"Her name is Hannah." I say, I don't want to tell them that Hannah is a demon or that I made a deal with her.

"Someone's got a girlfriend." Alito says happily slightly bounding up and down on the couch in the living room like a child.

"No it's not like that at all, we're just acquaintances." I say back, I felt like I couldn't get that lucky to even have a girlfriend let alone a demon one.

Alito starts making fun of me saying that I have a girlfriend and this gets the others to join in. I just sigh and ignore them going to my room. While in my room I look for a sharp object that I can use to stab myself with but I come up empty. I remember that Alito and Girag work at the docks loading and unloading boxes so they must have box cutters. I quietly sneak out of my room and down the hall to Alito's room, I open the door praying to Ra that I don't get caught. I look behind me before going in, I take a moment and look around the room.

It looks like a tornado ripped through, clothes were almost everywhere on the floor. Candy and other food related wrappers are on the floor as well, but sitting on the nightstand in plan site is the box cutter Alito uses for work. I sneak over to the nightstand and stare at the box cutter for a moment before taking it, slipping it into my pocket and leaving the room before Alito comes.

With the box cutter in my pocket I shut the door to Alito's room and sneak back off to my own room. Now I just needed to wait for everyone to go to bed so that I can sneak out undetected. I waited patiently, what I wanted is within my grasp I just had to wait for the right moment to take it.

Finally I hear everyone walking down the hall to their rooms, chatting happily as if they don't have a care in the world. Once I hear all their doors close I come out of my room without a sound and walk to the front door, I look back to see if I'm being followed but no one is there. I take one last look around me and leave, little could I know what was about to happen to me.

I walk into the wilderness without fear since I know there's no other life in Barain World beside us emperors and Don. I walk until I'm out of site of the castle, time seems to slow down as I take the box cutter out of my pocket and shift the blade up to where I could see it.

Gently laying the blade on my throat I take a few minutes to rack up the courage to slice my carotid artery. I take a few deep breaths and push the blade into my neck, not even thinking of the pain as I pull the blade across my throat. I drop the box cutter and fall to the ground, I can feel my warm blood spilling out of me as everything goes dark.

The other emperors and Don feel a disturbance, as if someone just ended their life. They all gather in the living room, quickly noticing my absence right away. Nash checks to see if I'm in my room but I'm no where to be seen, they all fear that something has happened to me and race out into the wilderness to look for me with Don following behind.

The wound on my neck heals as if nothing had ever happened and my eyes snap open. I look around and see the pool of blood that has been left behind from my actions, I shiver at the site of. I look down at myself but I don't look or feel any different at first. That's when I notice my fingernails are completely black in color, I look at my reflection in a near by crystal to see that my eyes are no longer light gray in color but a blood red. My hair has taken on a darker shade of gray and my skin is a pale grayish white.

"So this is what if feels like to be a demon." I says to myself as my pupils become slit like a cat's and the blood red color turns to a glowing pinkish red.

I get to my feet and look back at the pool of blood shivering again at the site of it.

"Dumon!" I hear my name called.

I turn to see who has called my name to see Nash running towards me. When he gets close enough to see me he stops dead in his tracks, I look at him studying his reaction to seeing me. He looks horrified, he appears to glance down to look at the pool of blood and the box cutter on the ground.
