"Despite having not known each other for long, helping each other through the smoke, helped blossom a brotherly love among the seven."

"Maybe if I tried to help hyung a little earlier, things would've turned differently."

"Namjoon, hold on!"

Hoseok shouted, the later being levitated off the floor. He couldn't hear. That was what the others were afraid of, though they've been through it before.

"Namjoon, no."

Namjoon chuckled bitterly to himself and looked down his right hand. There shone a silver bracelet with two small hearts. It looked very old, but it was in a pretty good condition.

"I can't even imagine we were once this close."

He said with a smile, looking at the bracelet.

"He gave this to me on my 8th birthday. From his own pocket money. It may not be very expensive, but...its worth my life. I didn't know it would be my last time seeing him."

"It was not your last time."

Jimin said, even though he knows that the older couldn't hear. He always hoped they would hear him. He was never sure of what he said to them while they were fighting the smoke. He was really not sure if Namjoon could ever see his brother again or not. But he still hoped they would. He always hoped the best for them.

"Please stay."

His eyes filled with tears. He felt himself at fault, and couldn't tell why. He felt himself being very connected to the older. Seokjin looked down with a sad expression, instead of trying to console the boy. He knows how getting separated from a sibling feels like.

No one can fill in a hole inside of you like a sibling does.

"I regret not being grateful enough to him. One thing that makes him different from other kids, were that he never started a fight with me. It was always me. He let me enter his room without his permission, go through all his stuff, turn his whole room upside down but he didn't say me a thing."

The smoke around him increased. His eyes darkened and he clenched his fist.

"We didn't find him. Mom went into depression."

Jimin had to resist the extreme urge to go and hug the older. But a hug seemed impossible at the present situation. So he just watched with teary eyes and clenched jaw. But he couldn't help it anymore. He let those salty droplets roll down his cheeks.

"No. I didn't lack on anything. Mom smiled for me, though I could see her red and puffy eyes."

The smoke increased, if possible, more darker and thicker, appearing extremely vicious, almost completely swallowing him in itself.

"It wasn't over. Mom took her life. Leaving me alone with my father. He was depressed too, but he tried his best to take care of himself for me. I felt like everything was my fault."

He suddenly frowned, eyes turning darker with visible anger. But they soon filled with tears.

"What did I do wrong to deserve this?!"

He yelled all of a sudden, making everyone in the room flinch. The tears rolled down on his cheeks. One, two, three, each coating the other as they rolled down following the same path.

"Namjoon, listen-"

"I HAVE NOTHING TO LISTEN!!"

He shouted back.

"I HAVE LOST MY HAPPINESS, MY OTHER HALF! MY EVERYTHING!"

He breathed out. Seokjin stepped forward with an unreadable expression on his face. Namjoon looked too dangerous, the smoke around him increasing by each second. But Seokjin didn't want the boy to lose, not after he had gone through the same thing.

"Seokjin hyung, wait!"

Hoseok called from behind, but he didn't listen, and kept walking towards the boy.

"DON'T COME NE-"

"Namjoon."

Seokjin said in a deep and calm voice, looking directly into the boys eyes. It somehow managed to shut the latter down.

"Is your happiness more important than your brother's?"

"Never."

Namjoon answered without hesitation, staring back into the older's hazel brown eyes. He may not be aware of the harm that may cause him if he loses to the smoke, but he was fully aware of how much his brother means to him and how he'll readily give up everything for him.

"What if your brother is living a better life after running away?"

Namjoon stayed quiet. Seokjin knew what he said may trigger the other in a bad way, but deep down, he had a feeling that he's doing the right thing. So, he continued.

"What if he found someone who...can treat him better?"

Namjoon looked down, the smoke increased.

"Seokjin you're making it worse!"

Yoongi shouted from his back, but he didn't turn back and continued to do what he was doing. He was completely confident about what he was doing.

"Does that mean we were hurting him instead of helping..?"

He asked in a low, deep voice. Seokjin immediately shook his head. He didn't want the boy to think that way. He arranged his words in a better way before letting it out to the boy, so as to not make anything worse for him anymore.

"Never. I never said that. But just think logically. Yoongi and Hoseok thought their lives were miserable, but look, they got another Flashback were things looked much better."

Namjoon looked back up, his eyes red and the tears have stopped. But they glistened with new ones, ready to fall at anytime.

"He'll come back. He loved you. He loved your mom. And he was still young. He needs his family. His real family. He will come back. Hold on. Just for your brother, please?"

Seokjin pleaded in a sweet voice. Namjoon clutched the bracelet, and shut his eyes closed tight.

The boys watched in silence, as the smoke slowly disappeared, little by little and completely left the boy, dropping him on his feet on the floor.

Seokjin smiled and slowly approached the boy, who looked at the boy with slightly teary eyes. Namjoon smiled a bit, his signature dimples showing. A sight they had started to get fond of.

"Thank you."

Seokjin said, putting a hand on his shoulder, gently rubbing it. He moved his hand from the boy's shoulder to the back of his neck, pulling him in his embrace. Namjoon got startled at first, but it didn't take him a second to comprehend and wrap his hands around the older male.

Soft sobs filled the room. The boys who were watching the oldest comforting the younger in such a way that their smile that never left their face. An overwhelming feeling washed over them while watching the scene.

"Hold on a bit. It's not over yet. I understand."

Seokjin chuckled slightly, patting the boy's back.

"I'm sorry. I- I'm such a mess."

He whispered to me the older. Seokjin shook his head almost instantly. Tears dropped down his Namjoon's face, wetting the other boy's shirt but the addressed boy didn't care one bit. His main aim was to protect the boy from the evil smoke.

"Nope. You're not. You went through a lot too. You actually really strong, you know?"

Just then, Hoseok stepped forward with the goofy face. He definitely got something cooked up in his brain, but they knew it wasn't anything bad.

"What is this, huh?"

Seokjin turned back to Hoseok with a serious glare, thinking he found something, but rather found the boy looking at them, with his hands on his hips.

Namjoon pulled out off the hug, trying to wipe his tears away, but they seem to betray him. Hoseok went to him.

"What is this? Why do I see them, hm?"

He asked with a pout, wiping his tears away. Yoongi cringed at his childish act while the other three chuckled.

"You said you are the youngest in your family. Aren't the youngest the strongest as well? Then why are you crying? What are these tears?"

Namjoon looked down, a sheepish smile started appearing on his lips as he finally felt the embarrassment kicking in. Hoseok grinned widely.

"I know you're sad. But look, Seokjin has been in the same situation with his brother as well, yet he's here, and why? He said he fought for us. If he can fight for someone he doesn't even know, then why can't you fight for someone you actually love?"

Hoseok said softly, the boy in front of him shook his head.

"That's why I'm here."

He smiled his signature dimpled smile again, and wiped his tears away, but they can still be seen to be glistening in his eyes.

"I haven't forbidden you to cry, but just like Seokjin hyung said, don't give up."

The younger nodded almost immediately. He took a few deep breaths to calm himself down.

"I'm fine."

He paused for a few seconds.

"Thank you."

"Hyung.."

A shy voice from behind, which they recognized as Jungkook's, reached their ears.

"I'm hungry.."

He blurted out in a low voice while playing with the hem of his shirt. The others burst into laughter. Jungkook's face turned into a dark shade of red from embarrassment.

"Me too!"

Taehyung exclaimed, clutching his stomach with a pout. He gave them puppy eyes which they all smiled at but one of them.

"NOW FROM WHERE ARE WE GO-"

"YOONGI FOR ONCE STOP SHOUTING FOR EVERYTHING!!!"

They cracked into laughter at the oldest's voice. It sounded goofy, rather than angry.

"Everytime, EVERYTIME you keep on yelling at those small kids-"

"We ain't small!!

"But more immature than kids."

"Yahhh!"

Namjoon added, suppressing a laughter, but in the end cracked up too. Seokjin looked at the six giggling and talking out loud to each other. Then looked back at Namjoon, who reminded him quite much of his brother. A smile made its way to its lips.

He left them to spent some happy time with each other, then went upstairs to the terrace, to get a better view of the beautiful sky he had seen a partial view of from the window.
